Asher can bend the fabric of time to a certain extent. Time is something that can be simplified, it can be centralized; focused. Teleporting has the same idea, it's practically ripping through space momentarily, and appearing somewhere else. This takes that concept, but uses time as the median now.
The Moment of Truth:Asher can stop time at a large scale, 120 yards. In this particular instance of stopping time flow, living breathing people can't be tampered with, it disrupts too much in the flimsy science that is time. Asher can move freely in this technique. Ren would enter the battlefield, his mind already blaring around, gathering chakra...readying itself for whatever his opponent would bring to the table. With Direct Drive in one hand, and The Shadow in the other, the man was itching for the glorious thrill of combat. And even more eagerly awaiting to see just what it was this...Asher could do.

Asher walks into the area, hesitantly. His opponent was something he hadn't seen before. Something truly unique. The only thing that he feared was the unknown. There was nothing to expect from Ren, thus everything would be unexpected. He could see him in the distance. So he stood there, EMS active, Inverse.

Ren would only nod before opening the battle...quite simply. Extending his palms, he would create a total of ten nearly invisible needles of chakra, each being created seemingly as a technique on their own. He would then launch these needles in a scattered pattern towards Asher. Anyone with chakra sensing abilities could see that these needles were Chuunin-rank in power, and certainly not something you would expect a battle of this caliber to open with. However, it bore little importance. Darting about, Ren would continue to observe the movements of the man's chakra, already beginning to identify certain, simple biases like how it flowed to his arms, how it flowed to his legs...he was gaining insight on what motions the man's energy would make when he moved.
As a sort of follow-up attack, Ren would leap into the air, leaving his currently invisible elegance clone in his starting position. From there--and after waiting to see how his opponent responded to the needles, of course--he would launch a searing, orange laser at his opponent of around twenty feet in width; Kagami. If his foe were struck, he would immediately be coated in ferocious, chakra-driven flames along with the initial damage of the attack.

Asher had sensory abilities similar to the Uzumaki. The Lydians were connected to natural energy. That paired with his Sharingan, he could see the needles launched at him, and promptly moved out of the way. Though, the erratic nature of them caused him to be hit once. He took it in stride, waving it off as a small annoyance. Orange aura enveloped his skin like an armor, glistening under the beat of the sun. Asher catapulted after Ren, over the laser. Once he landed, an explosion would commence, with him at the epicenter. If this hit, Ren would be burned to the point of extreme damage, perhaps fatal.

Immediately upon seeing Asher's lunge, Ren was already reacting with his own set of skills. Switching with the Elegance Decoy on the ground, he was able to distance himself enough to immediately activate the Murasakibara skill through his blade's rune ability. His body was immediately coated in severely potent chakra as he rocketed into the air, spending only a short time up there before coming rocketing down to the ground in a fashion similar to Asher, only much stronger. He wasn't aiming for his foe, just about twenty feet off to his left. The resulting shockwave carried the equivalent of 75 chakra power; enough to easily kill his opponent was he not careful to dodge the outgoing shockwave. This also served to expel all outward flames, giving them a blank slate from which to do battle once again.
And yet...he still felt the need to create seven needles, launching them at his opponent in a fashion much similarly to before. Quite an odd attack, it was.

The man was gone in an instant, leaving Asher at his disposal. Something crashed into the ground to his left, a whiff. Not long after, a shockwave of destructive chakra sped towards him. It needed a means to travel, no? So disrupt the ground it glided against. Asher stomped on the ground, cracking it under his pressure. Just to be safe, he started his run away from it, incase the technique only slowed it down or weakened it. While it disrupted the shock wave with an equal force, under the feet of Ren would appear a large dragons claw, along with a large crevice. Asher didn't really commit to any strategy yet, merely testing the waters. They both had large energy at their disposal, and they were clearly using it.

Once again, his adversary would find his moves and his chakra read with particular ease. Taking advantage of this brief respite while the opponent dodged his strike, Ren would begin a little bit of prepwork of his own. Positioning his currently invisible elegance clone about ten feet to Asher's left, he then threw his black sphere--The Shadow--to his own left side. He would then teleport immediately to The Shadow to dodge the dragon's claw erupting from the ground. This is where the interesting part began. Ren would use Direct Drive's Ability once again to activate another skill from his arsenal; Emperor Akashi. Opponents caught within fifteen feet of this skill found their muscles immediately and instantly locked into place, completely stealing their freedom.
Then, simultaneously, two things happened. The Shadow activated it's ability, using itself as a sort of homing beacon, letting loose a powerful chakra made to draw the attention of the enemy with SS-ranked power. The second happening was that Ren switched with his elegance clone. In a perfect world, the SS-ranked misdirection would pull Asher's attention away from the switch, leaving him within ten feet of Ren, and thus subject to the abilities of Emperor Akashi.
It was at this time that The man would then follow up with Omni combo, using his blade and the blades of 12 others to hopefully seal the deal and slice to pieces a distracted opponent.
