As a sign of goodwill, Lade Koneko; the Raikage, sent her Chunnin, Nariomi to assist the village. Lady Kaori asked Nariomi to create some trees, and he, in an effort to do as asked, he created this massive forest in Sunagakure. The forest is visible even from the sky, a massive green spot amidst the sand.

Nari walked to the barren area that Kaori had designated for him to repopulate with trees. He had to admit it was a good idea that would be good for the ecological state of the village, plus a few extra shade trees never hurt anything at all. With a smile he began contemplating how he would not only create a forest but allow it to sustain itself. Forming quick string of seals he slapped his palm onto the ground and watched as the ground rose below him to create literal cliff. Once the cliff was of good enough size he again formed another string of seals this time he ended the string with one hand held high above his head as he used his chakra to pull the ground water from far below the ground to the surface and caused it to stream over the cliff he had just made to make a continuously flowing waterfall. After a few moments of relaxation and enjoyment of watching the water spill across the sand Nari slowed his breathing and began to stir his chakra once more. He did not know why Kaori wanted him to do this but he knew that it had to have a reason given that she discussed it with just the two and confided the dire need to him. Not that he wasnt confidant in his abilities he was more concerned what would happen once he had started this. For once it was started this jutsu wasnt an easy one to stop and its destructive potential was immense. Clasping his hands together he activated his jutsu and placed his palms on the ground. Within seconds the chaos began, all around him trees of titanic proportions sprang from the ground curling and twisting their way across his terraformed area. After what felt like an eternity, Nari could not help but be proud of his creation. Before him lay a very literal oasis within the desert. Shade, water, trees it was almost a sort of utopia given the harsh climate elsewhere. With a nod he of approval he headed out to give Kaori the good news.
