Purpose: 2nd Division, Special Forces / Assassination & Undercover Operations
The captain of the 2nd Division is also captain of the Special Forces, One of Soul Society’s two other military fractions aside from the Gotei 13. Members of the 2nd Division are mainly dealing with stealth and assassination, and many of them are also members of the Special Forces as well. They also handle all undercover operations regarding Seireitei security. Special Forces applicants take additional two-year training after Shinigami Academy. Description of Division: The 2nd Division is actually an underground training facility. Unless you are a part of the Division you are not told where it is or how to get into it. They take a great deal of pride in their secrecy. Despite it being underground the facility is well lit and provides a great secluded training area. Above ground is the Division office. It has a temple-like appearance from the outside, and every room has had its floors replaced with wall-to-wall floor heaters, motion-detecting automatic doors, and efficient air conditioning.

Sakura Sanada
As a young girl, Sakura was accepted into the second division where she was trained in stealth and assassination methods. She had trained her mind and body diligently over the years while working her way up to the third seat with her squad. It was a position above other members, save her captain and vice-captain, though it held no meaning or political sway. It was in this time that Sakura had increased her training and combined it with her father's special 'Sanada Training' in attempt to awoken the voice of her zanpaku-tou, and learn its name and power. Within a week of intense training, the young Sanada girl had learned her blade's name of Suchīruejji, and gained the power of its shikai release. Excited, Sakura would return to her division and seek out her captain, Soi Fon, to inform her of the development. She would enter the office of the female captain and take a knee, while bowing her head. "Master Soi Fon, I have learned my zanpaku-tou's name, and have unlocked its shikai form. Due to this I request the position of vice-captain." She would say confidently, though her head remained bowed as a sigh of respect to her captain, and instructor.
The Second Squad, Stealth Division Captain, Soi-Fon had been relaxing in the main meeting area of the Squad House when she was approached by her Third Seat. The steel-cold assassin knew well of young Sanada and all of the training she had been going through to rise through the ranks. Soi-Fon knew that in time, the girl would likely be her successor, but many had that aspiration, so time would tell. The fact that she had achieved shikai was good news to the Captain, though her face didn't show her approval. "Well that certainly puts you above the other Seated Officers", she remarked frankly as she gazed at the girl before taking a sip from a tea cup, and placing it down. "Though you realize that this means you will be in constant competition for your rank. You will now be tasked with working harder, training longer, and getting much more skilled than you are presently. Between you and I, there are years of experience and a skill gap that you might dream of closing one day, but know this...I wont tolerate a slacker as my Vice-Captain, and if you disappoint me, I will kill you.", she said in the stern and cold tone that indicated that she was serious.
Sakura would probably know that by now, and realize that she would have been demoted instead of promoted if the captain did not take to her rise in skill in a good way. "Now..Get out of my sight. You have some work to be doing now, don't you Sanada-Fukutaicho?", she questioned her rhetorically before shooing her away. The life of paper-work and managing the squad's menial concerns was the life for Sakura for now.

Sakura would smirk, though with her head down it would be hard to tell, as her captain would frankly say that she was a step ahead of the other seated officers, and asked if the young Sanada realized that the spot would put her in constant competition with her peers who also wished to raise in power. "A little competition is not such a bad thing, Soi Fon-Taicho." The young girl would stat happily as she raises her head to look at her captain, "In fact that just give me more reason to train hard, and prove myself a competent leader. As well, my first stop will be to the academy to begin my training in the art of Shunko, like yourself." Once more the Shinigami would bow her head as the captain spoke of killing her if she proved to be a slacker and a disappointment. "I will not disappoint you, Taicho!" Sakura would sound off before raising to her feet, "Then, I shall be off to train." With that the young vice-captain would quickly turn and vanish from Soi Fon's sight as she was requested.

Percival approached the 2nd Division HQ. Several of the guard eyed him suspiciously. Percy greeted them with a smile, his Vice Captain badge glinting in the light. He approached the first guard he saw that didn't seem to be too busy and greeted them with a smile.
"Excuse me, I am on business from Captain Iba of the 7th Division. I as instructed to meet with the 2nd Division Lieutenant. Where would I find her?"

Everything in the second division seems to be currently at ease, though many of the members were away tending to the clean up of Rukongai. Though the northern districts had it the worst, the others still had minor Hollows in their fringes. One of the members, stopped by Percival, looks confused as the man states he has business from his captain with their newly appointed lieutenant. He would bow respectably to the vice captain, before clearing his throat, "I am sorry to inform you, Sir, but Sakura Sanada is currently not within the building. It would seem that Soi Fon-Taicho had sent her off to academy after her promotion." The male would bow once more to the man, "Regrettably, while she was in the Northern District of the Rukongai, we lost track of her position. It would be a safe bet to assume that after the threat that she has resumed her training as was instructed by our Taicho." With that the man would give a third and final bow, before hurrying along as to not be late for what ever task he has to accomplish.

The feline's nose picked up a new scent outside of the division headquarters. Moving slowly towards her without a care in the world. It was obviously one of the seated members of the division or someone who was really ballsy. She didn't know which option was better at this current moment causing a soft sigh to escape her lips. Her tail smacked the ground in annoyance as her ears twitched with the individual approaching her and speaking to her. The small feline cleared her throat to speak firmly to the obvious seated member of her division. "Why yes," She said creating a brief pause before looking over to the wolf girl. "I am." She finished as her ears flicked every once in a while.
Saki had left the others in the Seireitei area, their mission now complete. However, the lock down on Soul Society had not been lifted. This left Saki with very few options as to what to do next. She could either train, or see if anyone had returned to the 2nd Division Headquarters. Seeing as how she had not been around much herself, she decided on the latter option. The 2nd Division was foreign to the Wolf Girl, as she did not make a point to stick around often. There was only one person she really respected in the squad, and she had been out and about recently. Everyone else were merely associates, none of them she deemed as friends or comrades.
Walking in through the secret entrance, Saki immediately caught the scent of someone new. Sniffing around, she narrowed the scent down to an individual on the far side of the room. Her eyes locked onto the rather short individual. However, there had been word that a new vice captain had been assigned to the 2nd. Saki did not want that responsibility. She was a pack hunter, and not an Alpha. She knew that, and had no aspirations to be anything more. The purple wolf walked closer, wondering if this was indeed the Vice Captain she had heard about. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to be the new Vice Captain, would ya? Yato, was it?"

"Well, please allow me to introduce myself! Murasakino Okami, 5th seat! But please, call me Saki!"Saki proceeded to bow before giving a smirky grin towards her new Vice Captain. "I seem to be the only other seated member around at the moment, so feel free to direct me where needed. I am also up for training or heading to Earth to check on things there, considering the situation we just got ourselves out of. The order is yours.Despite being a wolf, Saki was very much a pack hunter, and that showed in her mannerisms towards her new Vice Captain. She was not a lone wolf as most would guess from her usual demeanor. When it came to her direct superiors, she was a completely different animal.

With a sigh Yato's feline eye would still be looking over at her canine shinigami with a slight amount of annoyance. Her tails twitching with the same mild annoyance as there was a lot to do and Yato didn't want to build everything from the ground up. Yet that seems what she was there to do now. For the fact that their supposed captain was often away and never to be seen. Making no command decisions to help the squad or the Soul Society. Such laziness should be slaughtered as there were things to be done surely. Yato hadn't a clue how someone like that managed to obtain the power that they currently hold. Perhaps the current captain knew others in higher power or had dirt on them to simply hand them the position? Whatever the case may be Yato was going to claim the position as hers and bring the division to glory. Her gaze shifted away from the young shinigami back to the division and its musty smell. Obviously not been used in a long time by more than maybe one or two people. Or worse the building itself been cleaned in what seems to have been a dozen years.
"Do what you must." She spoke softly and almost absentmindedly as she continued to look around the area. Getting further annoyed by the lack of presence from the division captain. Her tails starting to thump on the ground with annoyance due to the fact that it seemed she was going to have to fix everything for this captain. Then more than likely the captain was going to try and take credit for the work that Yato was going to do. Over her dead body was that going to happen as with things like that Yato was ruthless. She would be the voice of blunt truthfulness to the captain should they show their face and attempt to take credit for her doing. Although she should be focusing on her training and getting her zanpakuto or even starting to speak with her spirit none of that mattered to her. All that she could comprehend was the overwhelming work that was going to be coming her way due to everything. Still mildly annoyed from it all as her heart was sinking with this division already. She had joined this division because someone had seen her potential as a killer. Yet that seemed to be a dime a dozen these days as anyone dumb enough to pick up a zanpakuto would do so. With a sigh she slowly let air out of her lungs before taking another deep breath in. Then again letting it out slowly to allow her heart to slow down. This was the time where she was going to have to get herself together. After all she was going to have to lead the second division in the absence of her captain. Wherever the hell her captain was to begin with that is... such a pain in the a**.
Summoning forth a hell butterfly she began to record a message for her captain. To seek them out and inquire if she would be allowed to go ahead and make the changes that she wanted to, to the division. To make it an area that would be worth while and more 'homey' than anything that this crap was. That way her division could understand that when they work hard they would be rewarded to play just as hard. To follow her in her crusade for glory and to find the eventual end that she oh so desires. After all she was going to do her best to drag others to glory with her should they want to follow that type of life style. If not then surely they would leave the division and join another one. To become another grunt on the front lines to drool over the 'glory' of simply fighting. Not eliminating their target with minimal effort in the endevour to become the greatest at the game Yato was nearly always playing. A game that she was ever so fond of and desired to be the best at no matter what. A small smile began to creep up on her face as she began to debate if she should play the game with the current captain. To become a thorn in their side and eventually dethrone them. Or should she let time slowly allow her to take over the division. To show her true prowess in combat and assassination?
Such a thought consumed her mind as she began to slowly walk through the living quarters of the division. Envisioning everything that she was wanting to do to it in an effort to make it liked by her. If the others didn't like it then oh well she wouldn't care. The only thing she thought about it was how to make it better for her. Then others would slowly dive into the same likes as her right? Or again they could leave the division and only allow in the ones that would follow her to greatness. With a brief moment her eye would clamp down and a headache would consume her. Plaguing her as if it were the only foe to ever beat her down and continuously do so. As if she owed it a debt and the head ache was a reminder of what was owed by her. Gritting her teeth behind shut lips she began to take in steady breaths and let them out just as slowly. Knowing she had to keep herself contained at this time as her thoughts were starting to get chaotic again. She knew she would have to get more medication from the fourth division in hopes to contain the demons within her. The things that she has been holding back since she could remember. Only after a few moments would she be okay and she would act like it never happened before sending a hell butterfly to the second division captain requesting she be allowed to remodel the division.
Saki's eyebrow raised in bewilderment as her Vice Captain had answered back with instructions. Instructions to basically make her own instructions. The new Vice Captain seemed to be annoyed, and had a lot on her plate right now, so Saki chose to just shake her head and turn about. "I'm headed to Earth then. No telling what's going on there since we've been in lock down." Saki began to walk her way towards the exit. She needed to get out and do some work. "Send a butterfly if a mission comes down. Otherwise I'll be back by tomorrow." With that said, the purple haired wolf made her exit.
