Thunderstaff
The Thunderstaff much like a lightning rod the primary purpose of the staff it to absorb damage that would be dealt to it's wielder created through the use of arcane magic and dwarven science it's able to withstand great amount of force dealt to it by absorbing it and dispersing it. Like most artifacts it has it's down side for one it only works when it's with it's wielder and absorbing too much energy whether kinetic or energy based can cause it to break over time.
