Personality: Jocelyn has always been one to take the lead in group projects. She grew up around people who never wanted to be the one in charge which lead her to becoming very self-dependent. She is very headstrong and reckless and she won't give up on something she believes in. Jocelyn can be very arrogant when other people try to belittle her and she has a very low temper. When you piss her off, she can move mountains to make you feel worse. She very highly dislikes competition, whereas mostly to other women. She isn't one to commit to a relationship but she still gets jealous when the guys she is with have another girl's attention. Jocelyn thinks very high of herself and has a sense of entitlement.
Fears: Spiders, bugs in general.
Bio: Jocelyn grew up in Brunswick, New Jersey to Copeland Chambers. Her mother had to raise her all on her own, and only being at the ripe age of 20, Copeland had to work 3 jobs in order to support herself and her daughter. No matter what, Copeland always made sure to provide for Jocelyn. Even if it meant that she couldn't eat. Jocelyn loved her mother dearly, and even if she wasn't always the most appreciative at times, when it came down to it Jocelyn would do anything for her mother. Her school life wasn't as sheltered as her mother had believed. At the age of 15, Jocelyn was introduced to marijuana and tried it for the first time. This was after her mother was killed in a freak accident.
Before the accident, Jocelyn was one of the sweetest girls around and had a heart of gold. She was always willing to help someone out and willing to take the burden off of someone else's back. One day, when Jocelyn was in 7th grade, she had walked home from the bus stop after school. What she saw inside had traumatized her for life. Her mother's corpse was lying on the living room floor, correction only half of the corpse. There was no evidence of the other half other than a bite mark from the waist. She ran far, far away and never had much of a stable home afterwards..
After months of grieving, Jocelyn grew this thick skin through many many months of self torture. From blaming her mother's death on herself. Over time, and while running away, she cut off all of her hair and started wearing dark makeup, but this only barely reflected the changes that were going on inside Jocelyn's head. Her mental state was so fragile that she created an alternate self in order to block out the pain of the memory of her mother's death. And so she ended up the way she is today. Cold, heartless, arrogant, and very hotheaded.
She came upon a satyr, well at the time she didn't know it was a satyr, one day in Vermont that smelled a weird scent coming from her. Once he confirmed that she was a demigod, he immediately brought her to Camp Half Blood, where she's resided ever since.
Weapon: A celestial bronze skull ring that transforms into a celestial bronze sword.
