Seven Swordsmen Weapons

Samehada (Shark Skin)
User Image
Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Hoshigaki Clan)
History: Originally lent to Kirigakure by the Hoshigaki Clan for their alliance with the village, the clan has long since taken the blade back for themselves, only allowing Hoshigaki to wield them even in the Swordsman of the Mist. The blade is now handed down to a champion of the Hoshigaki, as a symbol of promise and honour. The user, however, must return to the clan when summoned since it is from this great blade that are plucked the scales that will form every new Hoshigaki's Samehadamaku, the living weapons that makes the Hoshigaki one of the most fearsome clans in the Water Country.
Description: Samehada is a large living sword comparable in size to the Kubikiribōchō. It is described as "the most terrifying of all the Seven Swordsmen's blades". Its actual blade is covered in scales, which causes it to inflict shredding or shaving damage rather than cutting what it comes into contact with. The effect is similar to a shark's skin, hence its name. While it ordinarily remains rigid, Samehada is able to stretch and bend to a great extent, allowing it to be used like a flail. Samehada is unique for being a sentient weapon that gains nourishment from the chakra of others. The blade is happiest when engorged with chakra. Although it constantly feeds off of the chakra of its owner, its largest "meals" come from fights wherein it absorbs the chakra of its owner's opponents. Such an ability allows Samehada to literally slice through an opponent's technique and even prevent techniques from being performed by absorbing all of the opponent's chakra. With every bit of chakra the weapon drains, it grows larger and more active, increasing its effectiveness in combat.
Cp: No known limit.
Damage: (10 - 20) + [1.5x str mod] + [(1 - 2) per 4 levels in Samehada]
Range: Melee + 5 to 15 feet, depending on the blade's chakra level.
Requirements: Strength 30, Chakra 45, Hoshigaki Clan.
Acquisition: Plot specific.
Special: Allows use of Samehada specific abilities.
Dual Wield: No.
Owner: Hoshigaki Clan, Seven Swordsman of the Hidden Mist.

Kubikiribōchō

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: The Kubikiribōchō (首斬り包丁, Literally meaning: Decapitating Carving Knife) is a massive broadsword shaped like a giant butcher knife, earning it the title of "seversword" (断刀, dantō). Like the other weapons belonging to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, the sword is passed down from generation to generation amongst the group's members.
Description: Jūzō Biwa wielded the blade with great brutality during his time as one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. He killed many enemies with it, dying battlefields red with their blood, and was infamously known for it internationally. Although this giant blade was said to have been used by Mangetsu Hōzuki, it became the trademark weapon of Zabuza during his time as one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. After defecting from Kirigakure, he continued to use it up until his death, where it was left beside his grave until Suigetsu took it for himself three years later.
Cp: N/A
Damage: (15 - 25) + [1.7x str mod] + [(1 - 2) per 2 levels in Kubikiribōchō ]
Range: Melee + 15 feet (if blade is fully extended from the base of the hilt to the tip of the sword)
Requirements: 30 Strength to use with two hands, 50 strength to be able to effectively use with one hand
Acquisition: Unknown
Special: Causes bleeding with successful hit. Blade regenerates itself (if damaged) upon a successful hit. +8 to blocking checks.
Dual Wield: No.
Owner: N/A

Hiramekarei

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: Hiramekarei is one of the famous swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist and was the last remaining sword known to be in Kirigakure's possession out of the original seven blades. It has since gone missing and it is unsure if it is still in Mist or not. Mangetsu mastered the use of this sword in the past. It was then passed to Chōjūrō who served as a guard for the Mizukage and was the last known wielder of the blade.
Description: Hiramekarei features a wide, flat blade with two curved indentations near its base, creating a sort of cross-guard. Two handles are connected to one another by a short length of cord, earning it the title of "twinsword". The overall sword looks like a flounder fish in shape. With its bandages wrapped around Hiramekeri, it looks similar to Samehada. Hiramekarei is apparently very heavy, as Chōjūrō tires easily when carrying it for extended periods of time.
Cp: No known limit (must be applied from the user)
Damage: (15-25) + [1.3x str mod] + [1.3x chakra mod] + [(1-2 per three levels in Hiramekarei)]
Range: Melee + 7-40 feet depending on the form the blade takes (the longsword form has been shown to reach tremendous distances)
Requirements: 35 Strength, 40 Chakra
Acquisition: Unknown.
Special: Allows the user to flow chakra through the sword and create whatever weapon they want. The users damage output is increased by the amount of chakra they expend in each attack. In order for the sword to maintain its chakra shape it must have a minimum of 50 chakra invested it, any amount over that can be added to the based damage with a cap of +40 points.
Dual Wield: No.
Owner: N/A

Kiba

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: The Kiba are the only of the seven swordsmen swords to be created as a pair. These swords were originally given to Ameyuri Ringo and were wielded by her as one of the members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.
Description: They each have been imbued with lightning, displaying enhanced cutting power in a manner similar to the high-frequency vibrations of lightning-based chakra flow. It is this capability that has resulted in these "thunderswords" (雷刀, raitō) being claimed as the sharpest swords in existence. The Kiba swords allow the user to transform and manipulate lightning freely. They also boost the user's attack power to the highest limit, which allows them to perform high-level Lightning Release techniques with a minimal cost of chakra. These blades can channel the user's own respective lightning techniques or conduct natural lightning. As long as there is natural lighting to access, the user can battle continuously without tiring and launch lightning from the sky to strike anywhere within a large area. They can also be connected at the hilts to form a larger double-bladed sword. They are able to perform various long-distance, powerful, and defensive techniques, either lightning-based or imbued with it. Even without lightning, they are very dangerous in battle, able to be used in combination with agile spinning movements, sweeping through the targets while the user also rotates.
Cp: N/A (based on the user)
Damage: (10-20) + [1.3x dex mod] + [1.3x chakra mod] + [(1-2 per 6 levels in Kiba)]. Dual wielding the blades or utilizing them as one double-sided blade has no impact on damage.
Range: Melee-150 feet (utilizing lightning techniques, the blade only stretches 3 feet.
Requirements: 45 Chakra, 30 Dexterity
Acquisition: Unknown
Special: The user can channel raiton techniques through the blade, allowing them to utilize the techniques without the necessity of hand signs or delay. Furthermore if natural lightning is present the user can utilize that instead of needing to expend chakra. When raiton chakra is imbued into the weapon the damage is increased by the raiton ninjutsu skill/2. It costs the user 3 chakra every post to maintain this damage increase. If natural lightning is present the user can get the same damage increase without utilizing any chakra.
Dual Wield: Yes
Owner: N/A

Kabutowari

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: This weapon was initially wielded by the swordsmen Jinin. It is the only weapon of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist to not actually be a sword. This weapon soon became infamous during Jinin's use as being able to destroy any defense, making it so that no obstacle that stood in front of the user could actually hold him/her back.
Description: The sword itself consists of a giant axe and hammer, linked end-to-end by a flat thin leather-like rope, which together are referred to as a "bluntsword" (鈍刀, dontō) that is said to be able to break through any defence. Although the length of cord means each weapon can be utilised individually, to cut and crush obstructions respectively, their true strength lies in their capability to be employed in conjunction with one another. When facing a particularly difficult or seemingly impenetrable defence; the wielder can first attack by striking with the axe, before slamming the hammer downwards onto its blunt backside, thus using the blade like a wedge to drive straight through the offending obstacle and into the desired target located behind.
Cp: N/A
Damage: (25-35) + (1.75x str modifier) + (1-2 per 5 lvls in Kabutowari)
Range: Melee-10 feet.
Requirements: 50 Strength
Acquisition: Unknown
Special: The weapons special ability is it's ability to pierce any defense. When used on a defensive structure (whether it be a weapon someone is blocking with, or an earthen wall that was created through ninjutsu) the weapon gains 2x bonus in damage. If a weapon is used to block and it is not a unique weapon, the weapon will be broken by Kabutowari, any unique weapon used can successfully resist being broken.
Dual Wield: Required
Owner: N/A

Nuibari

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: This weapon was originally used by Kushimaru Kuriare in the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. This weapon is infamous for its extremely sharp point, and it's ability to pierce targets. After the death of Kushimaru, the blade was lost and has not been heard of since.
Description: The blade itself assumes the form of a narrow "longsword" (長刀, chōtō) that greatly resembles a large needle, with a long length of thin wire-mirroring thread, tied through the eye located at the base of its hilt. This sword is said to possess the ability to pierce all and stitch them together, demonstrated through its ability to effortlessly penetrate multiple targets in a single thrust and then quite literally stitched them together in substantial bundles, by simply pulling the attached wire taut. A capable user can even throw the sword with the intent of piercing a line of multiple enemies, before catching the needle at the other side and repeating the process at different angles, in order to create knots of corpses with the wire passing through the entirety, effectively creating bundles of bodies at various points along the length of the thread.
Cp: N/A
Damage: (15-25) + (1.6x dex mod) + (1-2 per 5 lvls in Nuibari)
Range: Melee to 4 feet (the blade). This weapon can also be thrown, extending is range to nearly 50 feet.
Requirements: 30 Dex to use, 45 Dex to be able to throw accurately.
Acquisition: Unknown
Special: This weapon does have the ability to cut, however it's piercing ability is what truly makes it unique. The user gets a 1.2x damage increase when attempting a stab or piercing motion, making blocking almost impossible.
Dual Wield: No.
Owner: N/A

Shibuki

User Image

Type: Legacy (Seven Swordsmen of the Mist)
History: The last of seven swords wielded by the Seven Sworsmen of the Mist. Shibuki was wielded by Jinpachi Munashi. This weapon is extraordinarily unique in it's design and is the only one that utilizes some kind of mechanical platform. This weapon has only been seen used by Jinpachi and was lost shortly after the last great Shinobi war. It has not been heard of since Jinpachi was sealed away.
Description: The blade utilises various explosive tags, contained within a substantial scroll, in order to incorporate explosions into the user's own swordsmanship, earning it the title of "blastsword" (爆刀, bakutō). The sword itself features two distinct sides, with a narrow cutting edge located down the entirety of one length and a wide platform section on the other. The aforementioned scroll unrolls along this latter side, sliding downwards and resting atop its surface to form an individual segment comprised from numerous explosive tags, which separates from the remainder upon detonation. Only once the desired opponent comes into contact with the platform, do the explosive tags finally ignite and then detach, providing a small opportunity for the user to escape the devastating blast radius, while simultaneously compensating for any resultant recoil. The sword is seemingly able to reload another segment of tags onto the platform, automatically after each strike.
Cp: N/A
Damage: (15-25) + (1.3x str mod) + (1.3x chk mod) + (1-2 per lvl in Shibuki)
Range: Melee + 10 feet
Requirements: 35 Strength, 30 Chakra
Acquisition: Unknown
Special: When properly utilized the user gets a 1.5x bonus to damage due to the massive explosion created by the huge numbers of explosive tags that are detonated by the blade. This weapon can easily kill 3-4 shinobi in a single sweep due to that increase in damage.
Dual Wield: No.

Systems

This is sort of covered, but I haven't seen a really good system for it, so I was going to try and make a better one. I think that one of the most fun parts of a game type like this would be discovering loot! Everyone loves loot! So I am adding a loot system first as I think it is important! While most bad guys of certain types (for instance a simple gang member) would have little in the way of resources, there could always be the chance that one of them possesses something special that maybe they didn't even understand. Perhaps a bounty hunter was on their way back after picking up a big payday, or a gang member had just finished robbing a nobleman and had some special jewels. Perhaps there is a hidden loot cache hidden somewhere nearby that you only noticed during the commotion of the battle! Who knows, only time will tell!

Loot System

Upon defeating an individual one performs a search on the bodies/the surrounding area. Everyone needs to roll a single one hundred sided dice for searching the environment of the encounter, and then a single one hundred sided dice for searching each thing encountered. Therefore if a group of two people encountered 3 thugs and the thugs were successfully defeated, then the two people should each perform a hundred sided dice roll to search the area, and then three one hundred sided dice roll, split between the two members of the group, for the searching of the thugs (so one person would get two and one person would get one thug).

Rolls:
Environment
0-50: No discovery
50-65: Small money box (5,000 Ryo)
66-75: Medium money box (20,000 Ryo)
76-89: Large money box (50,000 Ryo)
90-95: Small chest (contains special weapon/armor receipt take to Keiji forge)
96-100: Ornate Chest (contains rare/unique weapon/armor receipt take to Keiji forge)

Animal Enemy
0-65: No discovery
66-75: Ryo cache 10,000, this bit of Ryo must have been eaten and has finally... passed... It's the characters decision whether or not they want it now.
76-85: Ordinary animal resources used for crafting/upgrades
86-90: Special animal resources used for crafting/upgrades
91-95: Rare animal resources used for crafting/upgrades
96-100: Unique animal resources used for crafting/upgrades

Human Enemy
0-65: No discovery
66-75: Small money pouch (10,000 Ryo)
76-85: Medium money pouch (40,000 Ryo)
86-90: Large money pouch (100,000 Ryo)
91-95: Special technique scroll (used to learn technique C ranked and below, take to Konoha Academy)
96-100: Unique technique scroll (used to learn technique A ranked and below, take to Konoha Academy)
