                  Moors

Moors are usually recognized as "battlefields" in FAO. They're huge expanses of land with little in way of vegetation. Rolling hills provide look out points and gulleys, and it's fairly easy for a player to spot another player out in the open here. Monsters also don't have the protection of vegetation, but tend to all be more challenging on the moors.

C’mon. Faster… faster… faster. Faster! The words flowing through his mind were the only thing pushing him pass his natural observant nature. The urge to stop and take in all the sights was almost natural to him. Though the urge to survive was the stronger of the two Once he beat the game, there’d be plenty of time to do that. This was no longer a game, it was only survival. He could no longer here the chatter from the town of Elurik and he hadn’t for a while. He was far ahead of those players now, but it didn’t matter. Soon these areas would become littered with players that would make these areas harder to monster grind than usual. Especially since some of them would be partying up. The more crowded an area became; the faster the monsters disappeared from the area. And that was something the Oracle could not afford to fall behind on. He’d have to take them by himself and ahead of the entire bandwagon of players to follow. Though he had to admit though, this brought back some good memories. Back in his beginning days, he had started in this area. He could remember the blissful amazement he had from noticing how the scenery turned from lush green fields and city like structures to the harsh and dry desert. Oracle could even recall the surprise he had from the Sun of the desert being so hot and how it felt like an actual desert. From the softness of the sand as he pushed through it to the sweat that dripped down from his avatar’s forehead. Even his first fight with a Narg and the realization that he couldn’t fight a Whisp due to his race. That had been pretty embarrassing since someone had to him.

Though now that he thought about, if all the player were back at 1… That means even the Red Players are on are level and on a fresh slate… This thought alone caused him to grit his teeth in frustration, ruining his entire mood. There would be no way to differentiate them from the normal players. And knowing them, they’d probably end up infiltrating guilds and parties only to betray them all in a dungeon or some big quest. Any that would be the worse thing that could happen. What made it worse… most of the red players weren’t dumb. They were actually pretty clever and good at stat building their characters. “Ugh. How troublesome.” Oracle sighed deeply.

Though his thoughts were soon interrupted as he heard the familiar party request ding. Usually, he’d ignore the party requests that’d come in. But with all of the players being only level 1, it probably a request from someone he actual knew. “Alright… who are you…” He mumbled to himself softly. Pressing the requests option, he looked it over quickly. It was a generic lazy a** party request from Vox. If it had been anyone else, he’d expect more. But Vox was pretty lazy from his experience grinding with her, the only thing she wasn’t nonchalant about was grinding and the game. As the choice appeared to accept or reject her request appeared, he thought about it for a quick second. Teaming up with Vox might not be a bad idea. Hopefully, she wouldn’t be dragging anyone else along. Shrugging, he accepted her party request. Apparently, she wasn’t too far away from. If he stopped, she’d probably catch up in 30 seconds or less.

However, before he could even think about stopping. Oracle spotted his first Narg against the golden sands of the desert. For which he allowed his daring, but dangerous smirk to creep on his face. Let’s see if you got this… He already knew the answer to his question. His class and race combination was naturally twice as fast as Narg. Plus, they could basically one hit these things. If I don’t mess around, I can knock this thing and one more in a second. Maybe five if I really, just really wanted to try… He thought to himself. He also knew these Nargs travelled in flocks. So if there was one here, that meant there were probably a couple to a few more around here somewhere or above him. Allowing his amber orbs to search in the sky, he found himself to be spot on as he spotted two more. “Might as well soften them up for Vox.”

His hair shifting in the wind as his left hand reached for the hilt of his sword on his back. Loosely, but yet firm, the berserker would grip the sword as he drew it from its resting place in the sheathe. It was time. As he ran, it was as if he was walking on water as he hardly left a footprint in the sand. That hardly had to do with what he was, but he had this thing for moving with grace and nimbleness. Closing in on the monster before it could even react to his presence. He pressed into the sand before leaping into the air in a spin like motion. With one hand, he’d swing the basic sword lightly through the first Narg’s wing in a diagonal slash. Normally, he’d do a heavy strike to just kill it, but now he was in a party. Though as the first Narg cried out in pain, the other two dived. “Really… you think this will really work.” He asked rhetorically. Jumping backwards, Oracle would dodge their attacks easily before doing two light strikes simultaneously. However, one more hit from him and that’d be game over for these Nargs. Vox better hurry.

It was no secret that Vox was not the most proactive person around. She rarely was the one to get everyone rolling and wanting to start up a raid or some other event. It certainly was not that she was a boring person or anything, au contraire. The moment she logged on her request page was filled to the brim with requests from players she had met and players she spawned in next to. It was not like she was a super top ranked player or anything, but she knew how to have a good time. People liked being around her, and half of her time had been spent socializing on Fardor Avil Online anyway. Had she set her nose to the grindstone from the beginning instead of sitting in the town centers and taverns shooting the s**t Elise probably would be close to max level. Not that it really mattered anymore though, since everyone was back to nugget level. This time around though Vox intended to actually put some effort in. While she did not truly mind being stuck in the game it was not like she intended to be here for two years or anything. Someone would eventually beat the game and get everyone else out, may as well be there to see it happen. She was not cocky enough to believe that she alone would be able to reach the end. What Elise had was a certain set of skills best used for boosting someone else to the top. She could heal, shield, and set up a very good kill. When she had been higher level her mana pool had been ungodly because she dumped so many points in it. She would buff all of her teammates with a s**t ton of temporary health points which acted as a full shield. When Elise crafted that technique it was with the intention to not give the option for damage to bypass shields via true damage. With this added boost of health it had to be taken down before a player could actually lose any life points themselves. It was actually a bit gamey but the moderators had let it through so why on earth would she complain? While making her way to the Moors a small pinging went off in her ear. Her heads up display was updated with the addition of Oracle's health and mana bars. "Starting without me? I see you're quick to shoot." Elise teased as she kicked up her speed a notch from a walk to a brisk jog. She had already equipped her bow and knocked a single arrow, keeping a few others clutched in her grasp. With so little xing she had not been able to pick up a load, but sixteen was more than enough for a small group of Nargs. The screeches of those mobs reached her ears before the tell-tale sound of damage being dealt did. When she came in to view Oracle had pulled a pack of the little monsters. Nargs were lizard-bat-dogs that could fly a bit and always traveled in groups. Their drops were barely worth it but as opposed to the only other level one monster these were the easier of the two. Since there were only three, Elise figured Oracle would be up for taking on a whisp or two afterward. With her current kit she would not be able to do damage to them but she could keep her party member alive while he did so. Pulling back on the string Elise let the weapon assist take control, easing her muscles and following the motion. When she had first started playing allowing the game to lead her maneuvers had been a strange feeling. She took sight on the Narg closest to Oracle and shouted befoer releasing her arrow. "Heads up!" Vox's arrow sprang from her string with a sharp twang and sailed through the air with little arc. At this distance there was no reason to aim high and account for drop rate. The Narg was not intelligent enough to have anticipated her attack and even if it had their speed stat was about half of her accuracy score at the moment. Sure as death and taxes, her arrow found its mark and embedded itself in the bat's side. The beast squealed and fell to the ground, dead but not looted. The mob bodies stayed long enough for whatever party felled them to take whatever it was they dropped. Elise was banking on xing, any gear they could possibly have would not be worth it unless it was crystals. She had slowed to a walk and took her time pressing another arrow against the bow and pulling back lightly on it. "Why don't we head out and find two whisps after? Better drops, relatively the same level. Definitely worth the effort for us right now." One of the nargs squeaked and clicked its tongue a bit before screeching loudly and charging her. With little care the girl shot out another arrow, sending it through the chest. Their health was so low so it would be easy for her to just finish one of with a physical blow and save on ammo. Waiting for the injured mob to get close Elise back pedaled at its initial strike and then kneed it hard under the jaw, doling more damage than it had health. "Hopefully we can pick up a quest. I can heal us if we take some damage and Kujin have decent regeneration. With a little break in between I'll be good to go." Elise took out the other narg with very little finesse. She never went for style points and trick shots, merely doing what had to be done in the easiest way. It was safer in this manner. When the three nargs were officially dead Vox had caught up to Oracle's position. She initiated the loot generator and scowled when they skimped on a proper reward. "Bastards could have at least edited some of the damned loot drops. What a day. Sighing, she turned to the area around them. The moors was a giant wasteland. Not much to see. What would be there to see was any other player approaching them. Just to be safe Vox activated her passive which allowed her to sense heart beats. Her own and Oracle's beat lightly in her ear, and nothing else. Looks like they were alone. For now.

Blood bending is an ability that grants the user manipulation of blood. Stemmed from water manipulation, the user can usually feel the movement of blood under the surface of skin and call it forth. Whether it be from their own body or another player's.
⊲ Weaponization of the user's blood is the most commonly seen use of this ability. The user must slice their hand to gain open access to their supply, and the blood can take on the form of a sword.
↳ Costs 25 mana to call on.

⊲ The user may manipulate the blood in a wounded player to maintain gashes and wounds by preventing blood loss. This is not necessarily healing, but stopping the HP from dropping.
↳ Costs 30 mana to call on.

As he heard Vox’s 'head’s up', he barely had a chance to jump out of the way of the incoming arrows. Even though they probably were on the guide system, he didn’t like to take the chance one might miss and he’d up with an arrow in his a**. That wouldn’t be fun. Though, it still surprised him that Vox came. “I’m with you on the Whisps thing…” He mumbled to himself as he looked over the one pm that just dinged in his mailbox. Reading it quickly, he rubbed his chin before he sent a quick response. ‘Yo Divinity, I'm up for that party raid! If you could save me a spot, that'd be awesome. I'll be there in like five. Thanks. #TheTurnUp #SaveSome4Me #Grind’ Short, cool, and sweet.“Yeah… but Imma try to one hit them and get to that raid. They fill up too fast tho… so I’ll weaken two for you before I go.” He said calmly. She, of course, probably would try to get into the raid as well. But she could decide that on her on.

Running up on a higher dune really quick, he searched far and round for a few whisps. It took almost a full minute of staring into the wasteland before spotting not just one, but four whisps. The first two would be his, but the others would be for Vox. “Found some Vox!” Oracle yelled out to her. He usually wasn’t this skittish, Vox probably recount from their level forty grind, but he really, really wanted to get to that raiding party. The first party got the boss unique drop. Plus… this would give him a chance to scope out the new potential players he might have to work with later on. Or rather might have to defend himself from later on.

From what I remember, Whisp can’t be hit with normal swords or s**t, only by mana. I used to think it screwed me over for being this race, but then I realized I could hit them when using my race’s ability. Vampiric Legacy… #NotSoFancySaiyan. Jason thought to himself as he recounted his beginning days in the game. That had been one of the hardest things to him back then since he had no clue how to fight them and plus, they were the only things spawning in his area.
It was those things that kept him interested in this game because one challenge only led to another challenge. That kept it… live.

Pushing off his foot from his standing point on the dune, he flew off the sand mound. And for a brief few second, he could feel the wind whipping in his face as he dropped to the ground. Like Spiderman, Oracle would land in a three-point stance before, launching himself forward at full speed. For Whisps, they were relatively closer than usual, but that wouldn’t matter in a second. Because two of them will be dead. As he closed in on them, his eyes flashed a different color. “Stage One. Activate!” As these words were spoken, he leaped into the air, fist pulled back. In what seemed to be a flash, a blue aura would warp around his body like a fire. “It’s Oracle, b***h.”

His fist would find itself implanted into the face of the Whisp on the right. With his speed increase, he pushed off that one before the other Whisps could even react since he was now 8 times faster than them. With a doubt, the one he hit originally disappeared the moment he was no longer in contact. Vaulting to the next, he’d kick it in the side, causing it go flying before going to the last two. Throwing to light punches, he reduced their health by half for his partner.
“Yo Vox! I’m running ahead to see if I can save you a spot!” He called out before taking off. The loot he received from his killed monsters would probably go to her if he didn’t like it or found out otherwise at the site.

A little pinging noise alerted Vox to the message that had been apparently sent on the /all/ chat section of the communications system. As Oracle darted off to set up her kills again she waved him on and navigated through her menu. Pursing her lips and setting off at a light jog, Elise brought up the response window and spoke. "Vox here, I'll be on the way to join that raid momentarily. I can heal and shield as well as zone. Buy you a drink later if you carry me through ~<3" Her message was short and sweet and very much her style. She had no idea who this Divinity was and as pretentious as that name was Vox had to admit she was glad someone was already trying to for the next floor. Even if it turned out that they got stuck in the game for a few months or even a year she would not be overly butt hurt about it. Life was not bad for her by any means, but this was easily the most exciting thing that had happened for awhile. The mindless drivel of her routine had wore her thin, some spice was welcomed. Elise hit send and closed her menu, raising her speed to a full run in order to catch up to Oracle. Her activity window had not shown an increase in experience points so she knew he had not actually killed one yet. The sand shifted beneath her as she moved which in the real world would have made her falter. Running in heels over sand dunes would have been literally impossible but the movement guide system took care of that all. Her hair whipped out of her face when she jumped a small rise and landed deftly on her feet. Sun glinting off of her heart shaped glasses Vox carefully slid down the grainy hill and spotted Oracle. She still had her blood ability on, which allowed her to feel the movement of blood through someone's body. Watching with her eyes she was able to translate the data she was receiving of an increased heart rate (of course, it was an adrenaline rush from an ability that surged his power) and rapid movement. It clicked in her head as she watched the boy zoom around at high speeds; he was a Strigoi. They were one of the two vampire like races in the game. The Strigoi were counter part to the Moroi, the former manipulated their body and boosted physical attacks whereas the latter dealt with elemental magic. His higher strength and speed stat would most likely have come from the berzerker class, which complimented a more brutal race. Oracle had built a decent character so far, though of course it would still come down to stat allotment and the techniques he would create. Vox was a firm believer that it would come down to the creativity and ability of each individual character, not what levels and stats they had. She had seen it happen more than once, a low level player decimating a higher level one who had underestimated their opponent and believed that the just the difference in levels would be enough to secure a victory. Elise always enjoyed watching the tournaments, underdogs were fun to root for. Oracle shouted something out and then what apparently was his catch phrase. Pumping energy in to his legs and pushing off of the ground the berzerker used his momentum to deliver a rude as ******** full frontal face smash to one of the whisp. Launching himself at another Oracle kicked one and propelled it a few feet away, where it immediately fell dead. As he played around with the other two taking care to weaken them as a favor to Vox, she carefully observed these mobs. It had been a long time since she was farming experience on floor one. The first set of monsters were all relatively harmless and not spooky by any means. Whisps appeared to be cloaks that floated around, ethereal faces and bodies filling it. What made them appropriately difficult for beginning players was that they could not be harmed through regular basic attacks. Mana had to be spent before they would take damage. While at the moment she was unable to cast any of her useful destruction type spells. Elise did have a few tricks up her sleeve. More like inside of her. Kujin were able to manipulate their blood in to weapons. So long as she first drew blood or had blood on the field to manipulate she would never be weaponless. Taking the head of an arrow she dug it in to her palm and watched a few points of health drop, though they were irrelevant. Losing one or two dots of health was a fine trade off for an endless armory. If she ever got to the point were spawning in creations was taxing her health too much Vox could easily just heal herself. At higher levels one of her favorite tactics was to get as much blood out there as she actually could and then instantly heal herself. When a large enough area was covered it turned it in to Vox's territory. She became the ultimate support and had immense control over what happened and at what speed. Having such a power allowed her to create ultimate defenses. Erecting walls of blood negated a lot of elemental attacks and the thicker make up of it helped to slow down projectiles. With a little more mana she could change the texture and make it in to a mega adhesive. This had served her well in the past. A veritable web of blood would be formed and it greatly hindered the movements of her opponent or targets. They either had to risk getting caught and therefore stuck in the contraption or stay away from her. For classes that relied on close quarters combat that really sucked. It put them at a very large disadvantage, especially when Vox took to the offensive. Being a doctor most of her abilities had been tailored to healing and supporting but she did not always have the luxury of running with other characters. For those times Elise had to be sure that there was something in her arsenal that could kill. Weaponizing the blood at her control was the way to do it. For crowd control she could create spikes or razor sharp whips. Enemies could be blinded by being drenched, or she could shoot out cannonballs of the stuff. It really was all up to her imagination and Vox happened to have a vivid one. The virtual blood flowed forth from her wound once she clutched her hand. Now it was game time. She unequipped the bow and let out a sharp whistle to attract the attention of the whisps. The ghost boys turned to her and moaned out, reaching for her with skeletal and mummified hands. Setting off at a sprint, the woman engaged. While she was not as fast as Oracle had been when he was dealing with these monsters, they only had a whopping score of ten stat points allocated to speed. Vox could literally dance around them and probably would have if there was not a raid party forming. She was not going to miss her chance to get down on the first big run since Fardor Avil 2.0 came out. Not a chance in the world. Holding her hand out she created a a falchion out of her blood. It was a type of sword more akin to a machete. With a curved portion at the end it allowed a player to hack easier. The skinnier base of the sword increased in size and gave way to a large cleaver sort of ending. The added weight made it efficient to slash brutally. Elise at the moment was not aiming for finesse and grace, this was a job that needed to get done quick and easily. She slashed skyward with the falchion, letting the guide take over as it led her arm through the motion to lop off a limb. It always amazed her how real it felt. The resistance initially the Whisp gave as it's defense tried to calculate how much damage was about to be taken soon turned in to a flow smoother than Vox's skin, which she took very good care of. The phantasm shimmered red for a moment to signify health loss and then it tried to lean in and take a chunk out of her. The girl let her swing's momentum carry her arm in an arc as she spun and dropped a knee to the sand, bringing the falchion around for round two and an ending to the creature's pixelated life. Taking off in a runner's pose Vox jumped in the air and delivered a captain falconesque knee of justice to the whisp, knocking it off its feet. As her weight bared down on it she hacked at the thing's head as one would if they were trying to cut wood. Life points drained fast, faster than Vox as she rolled forth and checked the area for any more mobs. Oracle was already a blip in the distance, clearly trying to get that slot for the raid. Elise let her weapon lose its form and did not pay any mind to the blood reentering her system. Once upon a time it had amazed her but that had been about sixty five levels prior to now. She watched the loot reels roll and prayed for something shiny and rhymed with 'ding'. A chestplate was added to her inventory which brought on a tsk from Vox. It was as if the RNG gods were never on her side. Shaking her head to and fro, Elise started back in the direction she came from. But of course, before she could make it back there was something in her path. Another flying narg had shown up at the site where she and Oracle had taken out the first few. Maybe it had spawned after or was a roaming mob. Whatever the reason Elise was grateful for she had been just shy of the fifth level. This time she decide to play with it. Taking a leap after a running start she shot herself in to the air and above the creature. Pulling her legs up to her chest and pushing downward her feet connected with the head of the narg. It squeaked in surprise and pain as it was goomba stomped by someone and fell face first to the floor. Its wings had not been strong enough to stop it along the way. Elise tucked her knees in and held out her hand, shooting out an arrow from her palm created from the same blood she had made the falchion from. The arrow launched outward at the same speed she would have managed to shoot it from an actual bow, since it all pulled from her strength stat anyway. The narg pushed itself off of the ground with its little hands only to find its face full of arrow. Elise quickly walked over to it and plucked the bolt out of the beast and waited for the loot roll to go through before heading out on her merry way.

                  Blood Bending

Reaching the edge of the green lands, the desert wind whipping against his face. He cracked his neck as he prepared for what he knew would be either a waste of time or time well used. The moment he cross the threshold into the Moors, he found himself blazing down the path of the lost and forsaken. A path those unwilling to stand the heat and challenges within could never dare do. He knew he’d have to face everything the moors threw at him. From Whisps to Nargs and random ambushes. This was the task he signed himself up for.

Before this whole s**t happened of the reboot happened. There was thing here on the edge of the map that caused a shimmer like effect. After all, I was the noob that ran into the fricking thing as if it wasn’t there. As if that would make a difference. But when I was standing up on that dune earlier, I didn’t see that shimmer. The shimmer that signified the end of the map. Jason thought over in his head. It was weird. Almost as if something was wrong with the program of the game… other than the fact they couldn’t log out. That was almost too obvious.

As Jason’s feet threaded across the desert, he watched his tail and his twelve consistently. The very fact he was running at full speed was bound to make him a target of every single monster in the area. Which meant the more nargs that attacked him, the more that would come at his life. Not like they could even handle his skill level. After all, he could one hit all of the monsters on this floor with ease and precision. None of them could actually beat him unless he was joking around and ended up making some type of noobie mistake. The first time that had happened to him, had been his second day planning the game. He had been playing as a level two solo player with no guild as he leveled up and crap. But in the thrill of the discovery and fasciation, he had ran at full speed. Unaware of all the attention he was drawing to himself. Like a total noob. The very instant he had stopped, he was surrounded by Nargs and Whisps. Like if a gangbang wasn’t enough, they didn’t even give him a chance to port out. They just like annihilated his but from the desert as if he was the Black Plague sweeping across Europe and they found the ******** cure. That was the dumbest thing he had done in the game back… or so he remember.

As he traversed further into the desert, he passed through golden sand arches, something that reminded him of certain landscapes of the outside world. The beauty within the game never ceased to amaze him at times. The sand waterfall they still continue the fall endlessly as he passed. It was weird, but it had that magical vibe that almost anything in this world was possibly, but that was a lie. It was a world of science and even with the guise anything was possible, it truly wasn’t. No matter what anyone said or believed, that what it always would be. A game of science. And with science can some for predictability. And a monster will appear in…. three. Two. One. He thought to himself as he ran, searching his surroundings for the monster that would finally appear. Why did he know the monster would appear? Because that was the programming of the game, running at this speed was like acting as a beacon. There was not stealth that could hide the fact he was kicking up a dust storm trail to follow. But like he thought, the first monster would appear before him.

Raising from beneath the ground, the sand literately falling off the cloak around him. The Whisp would raise into attack mode like that old card game Yu Gi Oh. Some s**t like that. Giving it next to no mind, he continue his run as he leaped over it with elegance. Sprinting onward, he’d allow the Whisp to follow, so he could draw more monsters in. The Gumbo was cooking like never before and these monsters would be in for the main course.

As more of the map became explored, the more he found himself getting close to the edge. Still no shimmer… No matter how much he analyzed this, there would be no explaination for this until he got there and saw it for himself. It’d take at least two more minutes before reaching there. Than about five more to get back to the Plaza to get his spot. He couldn’t miss out on the raid. Not now, not never. After all, the first raid party was the most important thing in the game. It set the tone. The pace.

Looking back, he could see a crowd of monster growing behind. Mainly Whisps for the most part. It didn’t matter though. He’d take them all down in a matter of seconds. He’d take down everything if he had too. It was his mission after all.

Was this what the original people in the game had felt like? Trapped, forced to survive, but yet thrilled by a world beyond their wildest dreams and imagination. Of course there had been magic in the original, but from the videos he saw, it still was an amazing world to see nonetheless. As he reached the edge of the map, the moment of truth was about to arrive. Slowing to a halt, he really didn’t like this mystery. What if I try to go pass this line and I end up killing myself and starting over or… some other crap that wasn’t even in that announcement. If I do this… there’s no going back. Gulping deeply, trying to swallow the doubts from his over analyzing mind. He released a deep sigh before, raising his hand out towards what should be the shimmer.

Nothing… nothing!? Oracle thought wildly to himself. Waving his hand fanatically through what should be the shimmer. He paused for only one second before taking another step forward. From that point onward, he found himself amazed as a quest icon popped up on his screen. “Map Expansion: Moors… what the hell.” He mumbled to himself. Might as well accept the XP. “So they added on more to the maps. Weird, but I guess there are surprises here now that no one knows about. That’s actually… clever.” He said to himself, musing over the idea of map expansions and their purposes. Once mapped out, he noticed a shadow creeping down on him really fast. Jumping to the left, a Narg would crash into ground from where he was. “Oh well… let’s see what you got… bitches.”

If he hadn’t been distracted by the sudden map expansion, he would have noticed them sneaking up on him or the fact they had caught up. That was actually his fault. Oracle would then draw his sword as he took a few steps back to get a better look at his completion. 3 Nargs and 2 Whisps. This couldn’t go bad. The Nargs would be the easiest things to kill. The Whisps wouldn’t even be able to keep up with him. Though, he allowed them to come at him, so he could take them out with greater ease and precision. And apparently, the monsters would play on this too. After all, groups always thought they were stronger together. For a man like Oracle, it would never matter because he would always be able to defeat them and drag them into the light. By the light… he meant their death. As the first Narg came, he dove at Oracle at what the Narg’s full speed probably was. Without even blinking, he’d step to the side and swing his sword with one hand as if he wasn’t anything even worth his time. As the sword hit the Narg, red pixels would appear along the sword’s trail and cause him to disappear in monster oblivion. Now, it was time for all the other to come at him. Because just like the leader, he’d ******** them over too. As the other narg came, Oracle wouldn’t even bother to dodge it’s attack which just happened to be a tail whip. Raising his hand, he’d catch the tip of the tail within the palms of his free hand and slash through the monster with sword hand. But before it could even disappear, the last Narg came at him from an aerial dive. With a sigh, Oracle merely swatted it to the side with the side of his blade to kill it. It wasn’t even worth his blade’s edge. Now… all he had to deal with were the annoying whisps. “Vampiric Legacy… activate.” He stated as the other two came at him. But before they could move five feet, they were dead. Gone. No longer existent. Being almost 7 times faster than them really helped in that. As he allowed his hands to drop from where their faces used to be. Gaining the loot, he decided to head on to the Plaza once again, but this time using one of his new teleports to the Central Plaza. His curiosity had been sated.
