However Shiru's happiness was not to last as his world was devoured by darkness and the entire gang was consumed trying to escape,

Bio: Tarin was born to a couple of members of a gang of thieves; born with a neural condition that caused him to have weak limbs Tarin did not learn the arts of thievery instead turning to study magic and aiding his family by distracting the crowds with images and songs while the others stole their valuables,
Despite his success the fox began to lament his lack of mobility and this was reflected in the direction his studies took,
studying the workings of his own body and it's interaction with magic Tarin discovered the energy within himself that others would refer to as Darkness and through his studies he learned to use it to cover his body enabling him to stand on his own for short periods of time [although he soon grew wary of doing this as the transformation appeared to affect his mind],
After his world was devoured Tarin found his way to the Academy where he was taken in as a student and when his control of Darkness was discovered he was asked to be a teacher; he accepted and now resides at the academy most of the time

"A world of stone bridges and structures floating amid white clouds and blue skies; if one looks at the base of the false islands they may be surprised see that technology keeps them aloft rather than magic, Explorers should be wary of the rare golems that work to maintain the machinery of this world as they have began to act even more oddly than usual; however since they do not speak that is not a mystery that will be easily solved" [[How's that? let me know if you need to know anything else]]
