Kira looked down to the floor. Her white hair hung in front of her face and she let out a sigh. She looked back up at Folly."I'm not struggling academically here. You and I both know that having several centuries under your belt results in enough life experience to pass the hardest of exams. I know I can protect myself but I can't protect everyone. That is the harsh reality of my existence. That is what I'm afraid of. As for my work, I have no choice but to worry. If things go wrong and souls don't get collected, it'll be more than just ghosts wandering around. If I don't keep collecting souls I disappear. Completely. I have no soul so there's nothing to tie me back to existence if I die out, for lack of a better phrase."

Kira stood up. She knew that the bell would be ringing soon and so she wanted to be ready to find Bree and talk to her."I know that you cannot completely wipe out an opposing force because opposition is part of the circle of life and being. If I don't worry about things then no one else will. Things were annoying enough back when it was only witches and other creatures coming after us, but now the humans? Humans have a spirit like nothing else, not to mention I can't kill anything with a soul so I'm almost useless."The bell rang, and Kira started to head out. She turned around and looked at Folly."You and I are selfish creatures, you know. We exist until we don't. But I can't just sit around and let the world I've been a part of fall apart."And with that, Kira left and headed for lunch.

Nodding some in response to kira, Folly knew that it was good for Kira to hear herself say that out loud. Evne if she knew it inside, it helps to hear things said aloud, to help drive home your thoughts. "And that is why all we can do, is carry on." She stated nicely.

Kira standing up Folly took a step back to allow Kira to walk. Folly wanted to say a quick comment on the human spirit, but held her tongue with Kira's last statement. Which was something Folly didn't want to hear, or rather, didn't like hearing, due to the truthfulness of the statement.

Folly gave a faint smile and a wave to Kira as she left. After she left out the door, Folly let her arm drop, and looked down, walking back over to her desk and placing a hand on the arm of the chair. Looking at an angle to the side thinking to herself.

Folly was fiddling with something on her desk, passing the time, when a crow, entered her office. Looking at it wondering why it was there.

She ignored it at first until it landed on her desk infront of her, and she heard the mental message. It was Kira... and this was one of her birds for sure then.

Her eyes going somewhat wide as she heard Kira's message, Folly hopped from her seat, looked down at the ground, and a red ring, bearing Arabic and Greek text appeared. Her wings manifesting grotesquely and her fangs and hair getting unraveled some. Then sinking into the ring quickly and disappearing.

Leviathan hummed to himself as he pushed the large broom across the floor. This work was very calming, and it definitely provided him enough money to sustain himself for the time being in this day and age. What he couldn't afford was easily bought with the extra funds that had been stowed away, though, and very few times, he had thought of selling off some of his gemstones...

Speaking of which. The dragon reached into his pocket and pulled out a bright garnet, pausing in his stride to admire the little thing. So small and fragile... and glistening with a color that would remind anyone of blood. A garnet this pure was fairly rare, especially with its bright red hue. It made his soul twitch in anticipation as he stared at its splendor. And then, without a second thought, he let the gem fall into his mouth, and his fangs crunched at the stone as it easily broke against the strong bone. He resumed his work, munching thoughtfully on the rock as he felt himself absorbing its powers. Such absolutely splendor.

Eventually, he came to a door and pulled out his keys, setting the broom aside before propping open the door and peering inside. The guidance counselor room, right. He wished there had been some of those back in his younger days.
