Daku flew through the sky at vast speeds, his wings were magnificent but how much longer could he do this? You got lucky Daku, your first try... You're so damn stupid sometimes..."She is a vampire... " Daku said lightly aloud though he was speaking to the voice in his head.

Be could see the training grounds by now. He had gotten permission from a teacher not that it mattered to him, but he stopped in the courtyard for Kiyomi's sake where he was given a pass.
Daku landed lightly and his wings retracted. He didn't say anything nor did he let her down he just stared at her for a moment.

After a rather long strange moment Daku smiled. " You are just absolutely adorable... Oblivious as hell... But we'll... That's what Daku is here for right... Daku' smirked and gave Kiyomi a wink. His eye's had begun to change colour giving off a hot pink glow. His fangs ascended, as he sat Kiyomi on her feet. "Take my hand." he said smiling as his black ember began to dance from his fingertips to his elbows. "I want you to think of the warmest and happiest moment of your life. I want you to close your eyes and think only of that and my voice. When you picture it you will take my hand... I will not let my flame harm you, whether this works or not you are safe with me Kiyomi.... No doubt. he didn't know why he just said it but he did Daku' said he would protect a vampire. Why Daku'? " Shut it" Daku' mumbled and then he smiled.

KIYOMI CHIHIME

Before setting Kiyomi down Daku stared at her for a moment. What's he thinking?
As if reading her mind, Daku spoke. "Adorable? And oblivious? Ha! Seems like you'are trying to seduce me." You say that like it isn't working.
Daku's eyes turned pink and started glowing, Kiyomi smiled. " The warmest and happiest moment of my life huh? That would have been the night I was changed. My parents took me out to a really nice restaurant, even though they didn't eat. For obvious reasons. They bought me the most expensive thing on the menu. And a big cake, it said 'Happy Birthday and Congratulations.' I don't know why I was being congratulated, but it was honestly the happiest moment of my life because I knew when I got home I was going to be turned. I hated being human. I..." she trailed off.. Why are you telling him this. He said PICTURE it. You have to pay attention. Kiyomi closed her eyes and pictured that night and grabbed Daku's hand and nodded letting him know she was ready.

KIYOMI CHIHIME

Kiyomi opened her eyes and her body was illuminated by the black flame. As excited as she was she contained herself and kept picturing the night and Daku's voice. She watched in awe as his flame formed into his hands. Move it? She didn't even know how it was still lit. She thought it was Daku's doing. " I don't know to move it, I actually thought you we're keeping it lit." Kiyomi lost the image of that night and the flames slowly died.
After a moment of silence, Kiyomi remembered her sythe, she kept it in the inside of her cloak in a loop against her back. She pulled it out and twirled it with ease over her head bringing it down and spspinning it around her back ending in a fighting stance. Smirking and letting her own fangs ascend she whispered softly to Daku. "Maybe I can use this" then smiling sweetly. "Lets try Again."

KIYOMI CHIHIME

Kiyomi only grinned at Daku. He was so confident, standing there with his eyes glowing pink body covered in dancing black flames. I could die right now. He's so hot! And there is a slight possibiliy yall could be friends. Kiyomi closed her eyes and pictured the night she was turned. She thought of how happy it made her. She held up her right hand and thought warm,happiness...Daku??.. his voice, his eyes...she looked at her palm and a small black flame appeared and spread across her hand. She smirked at Daku, then held her left hand up. She pictured the flame jumping from one hand to the other and forced it to happen. "Oh My God did you see that Daku!!!!! I just pictured it and just made it happen!" Kiyomi pictured the flame jumping back to her right palm and watched as the flame followed her focus. She thought of the flames running up her arms and couldn't help but jumping in excitement as the flames dances their way up her arms.
She turned her attention to her scythe. You got this Kiyomi, just do the same thing you did with your hands but picture it at the end of your scythe. Kiyomi took a deep breath and pictured the flame at the end of her scythe....and nothing.She tried again, still nothing? She looked at Daku in confusion. "How come I can do it with my hands but not my scythe?"

KIYOMI CHIHIME

"Become one with that flame, you are that flame. Daku's words rang in Kiyomi's ears long after he flew away. She knew she could do it. She picked up her scythe and held out her other hand. She Lit the flame in her palm and forced it up her arm scross her chest and down the arm holding the scythe. Once igniting the hand holding the scythe Kiyomi took a deep breath and pictured the flame moving from her hand up the handle of her scythe and around the blade. She thought of Her parents, and her birthday, Daku's hand hold hers. Him holding her close as the fell out the window. She opened her eyes to find her entire scythe ignited in the dancing flames of black ember. Why? Why him? Why and how am I even feeling like this. You're supposed to be scared of being around other people. What happened to the mood swings? What is it about Daku? Why does it matter why it's him? He just asked you on a date. Be happy you haven't snapped....yet. Kiyomi's mind continued to wander as she walked back to the school.
