Blackwood Residence:
Nestled within the residential housing of Littleroot town lays the proud and well-kept home of the Blackwood family. Though certainly not her strongest point, Darmais – the matriarch of the Blackwood clan – does try to keep a nice flower garden and upkeep her lawn while her husband is working hard to provide for them. Around back there is a small pond under a tree for the family’s pet Vaporeon right on the outskirts of their respectfully large backyard. The forest that surrounds Littleroot adds a lot to the scenic layout of the outside of the house.
Inside the house may not be as well kept as the outside is, but the chaotic functionality of the home easily allows anyone entering to feel comfortable and relaxed, not too clean that you would feel that you couldn’t touch anything lest you get it dirty and far from being too dirty that you wouldn’t want to touch anything in fear of getting something that Muk would be uncomfortable owning, the home has a very lived in feel despite the newness of it. The family pet, Neptune seems to have a fair amount of run in the house and various plushies that the pokemon has adopted as its own and other toys tend to get scattered around very quickly by the little loveable pokemon. The house smells very faintly of mint scented tobacco, Damaris’ flavour of choice but there are some other incents that have been used to cover the smell, so the house always has a pleasant smell to it despite the nasty little habit that the lady of the house has developed.
The kitchens and bathrooms are immaculately kept, however if there is one thing that Damaris can’t stand is not feeling clean after a shower, and there is no place for dirt in the kitchen.
So take off those shoes, get comfy on the couch and don’t mind Neptune as he comes over to either meet you or sleep on your lap, welcome to the Blackwood residence!
But be careful not to anger Damaris, she isn’t a woman to trifle with willingly, you can just ask her husband…
