It was easy enough to find a size to fit the demon's slender fingers. They looked more suited to a musician's hand, long and slender, than a demon who enjoyed soaking them in blood and gore. She disliked the ring immensely, despite it's beauty, and even more so after the contract had been signed. Now she couldn't even remove herself of the damn thing when she pleased, which of course she couldn't. Lyari hadn't thought it would be so stupid as to make such a fatal mistake, and she hadn't been so naive to believe that he might. Snorting softly to herself when they finally left, a sound that was almost one of relief to be done of the spells and wards choking her, her hand came up and gripped his wrist tightly when he reached for her neck. It was an instinctive reaction and she narrowed her eyes to slits, staring him down for a long few moments before her grip gentled and her hand came down. With the collar off, she tossed her head, clearly displeased he had seen her at a weak moment. Lyari had fully expected him to try to grab her neck, or lead her around by the collar, as other idiots had done.

It seemed she was to lead the way and so the demoness did, walking with the confidence of one who owned the world and all she saw. She did her best to ignore Lawrence's presence while she browsed through the items, a cold sneer sending the one brave sales associate scuttling behind the relative safety of the counter. The last thing she desired was someone else bothering her, Which was why when she felt the man's eyes on her, Lyari was fully prepared to turn around and tear his heart out, regardless of earlier threats about her bunny. But Lawrence stepped between them, whether the gesture was possessive or protective, she neither knew nor cared. It was more amusing to her than anything - did he believe she needed help? No, it was more likely he wanted to avoid the scene she'd been about to cause.

Her eyebrow rose slightly when it sauntered over to the lingerie and smirked at her. Hardly out of character for it, she privately mused, letting her gaze rake over the items on display. It was a high-class place, pricey enough to satisfy her rich tastes, and a few items were even enough to catch her interest. "I hardly desire advice on what to wear," she told him blandly, brushing by him and picking out a few choice things that would have made most people turn a bright red to even think of seeing. Not that she cared. If she chose to wear something, it was going to be whatever she pleased, and for her own liking, not someone else's. Hardly for it's pleasure. Tossing her head, Lyari took her things to the dressing room to try a few one, although without the collar restricting her magic so much, it was easy to make whatever didn't fit, fit. She was a demon, after all, her magic was tailored for the seven deadly sins, greed and pride along with it. And what could be more prideful than how she felt about her appearance? Hardly anything.

Coming out with a new outfit, it was obvious what she would be taking, and perhaps Lyari noticed how little he cared for shopping. She took longer than necessary, wandering the shops and picking things here and there, doing her very best to aggravate him. Finally she had enough of the humans, however, and the staring and groveling. It was annoying. "I need to get things for my bunny rabbit," was the final pronouncement, the demon turning to give him a look that made it obvious she was waiting for her will to be done.

                                              ❝ I won't go getting tired of you ❞

Lawrence grinned as Lyari brushed him off and the proceeded to pick out some rather provocative underwear. He cocked his head to the side in curiosity but surprisingly he wasn't that caught off guard by her choices. It suited her. Lawrence didn't get flustered as some may expect. In fact he didn't think too much about the lingerie regardless of his teasing. But... Lawrence wasn't sure if he had just dreamed it but hadn't Lyari crawled into bed naked with him the night before? He paused and glanced at the ground and scratched his head before recalling that he had definitely woken up with her in his bed. Although he hadn't paid much attention to the fact that she was naked. So he didn't have much of a reason to be come flustered about her choosing underwear, since he hadn't really reacted when she appeared nude before him. Clearly Lyari wasn't bothered either. But he had noticed her reaction when he had gone to remove her collar and she caught his wrist and glared at him. He had just stared back and waited for her to realize what he was doing. Apparently even though Lyari had crawled into bed naked with him, confident that she could take care of the consequences, she still had some kind of guard up against Lawrence. Which made perfect sense. As confident as the woman was with her strength it only made sense to be cautious about Lawrence's intentions, considering he purchased her.

The wolf backed off and let the woman choose her clothes, glancing up to see if the man was still staring at Lyari. He was pleased to see he had left. But he felt another pair of eyes watching him and glanced over to meet eyes with the sales associate standing behind the counter. For a second he thought she was suspicious of the two but as their eyes met a blush spread across her face. He gave her a flirty wink and smirked when she looked away in embarrassment. He wondered if it would bother Lyari if he went about flirting with other women? Probably not but it would be fun to get a reaction out of her. At most she might cringe.

As Lyari headed into the change room, Lawrence took a seat outside and waited. After a long moment he sighed and realized that the woman was going to take her sweet time. So Lawrence was going to have to find something to do with his own.

As the shy sales associate wandered over towards the change room, he had been expecting her to ask Lyari if she was finding anything alright but instead she stopped in front of Lawrence and he smiled, amused.

"Do you need help finding anything, Sir?" she asked, face red.

Lawrence cocked his head to the side and stared up at the women, noticing her glance towards the change room and shift uncomfortable. A brave sales associate indeed. Did she intend to take the chance to speak with the man while Lyari was in the change room? Maybe she realized that Lyari was a slave and thought she had a chance with the wolf. Lawrence was sure Lyari would overhear their conversation from the change room though.

"Are you sure I'm the one who's looking for something?" he retorted, chuckling when the woman opened her mouth to find an excuse and found nothing. It was clear that Lawrence wasn't the one who was shopping but Lawrence went with it for the sake of entertaining himself while Lyari took her time trying on her clothes. "But since you've asked, why don't you help pick out some clothes for me? I'm not good at choosing sizes and styles for myself," the man said as he stood. He looked her up and down grinned when their eyes met again and her face was redder than before. "I like what you've got going on here so you must have a good sense of fashion." Lawrence didn't exactly know where the hell he was going with this but he was bored and guessed he would play off of the woman's reactions or advances.

He followed her as she showed him different clothes, humouring the woman and slowly collecting a armful of clothes when she picked out articles of clothing for him. He would lean in from behind her and ask questions about what she was choosing, grinning to himself when he could smell how nervous she was getting. But once Lyari finished picking her clothes and returned from the change room, he handed the clothes back to the woman and completely ignored her, going to pay for her purchase. He didn't seem to notice that she may be hurt by his actions but he didn't really care. He was just messing around and trying to bother Lyari.

Lawrence continued to flirt with the workers who showed interest in him, both men and woman, as Lyari took her time choosing what she wanted and wandered between stores. He glared at anyone who looked like they were about to bother Lyari, really not wanting their shopping trip to become a blood bath. Once Lyari told him that she needed stuff for her bunny rabbit, he almost sang in relief now that they were done looking at clothes.

"We'll hit the pet store then," he replied. He lead them to the pet store quickly and grabbed a cart, allowing a sales associate to recommend the best products to make Lyari's bunny rabbit as comfortable and happy as possible. Once they had a large cage, a gate for a play pen, toys, hay, and any other necessities, Lawrence called the driver to come and help load everything up into the car.

"Is there anything else you need?" Lawrence asked, once everything was in the car. He prayed that the answer was no. "We should head home and get everything set up for your pet." He was worn out from their shopping trip.

The demon could have smirked at how uncomfortable her 'master' appeared by the time she was finished picking out clothing. Of course she had drawn it out simply to watch him squirm, to see if he would break and finally tell her it was 'time to go home' and try to order her around. He hadn't, which was slightly disappointing, but Lyari knew she had plenty of time to pick his brain. Perhaps literally, when all was said and done. She, of course, wanted nothing but the best for her bunny and would settle for nothing less than such. The pet store met her high standards, if only barely, and it was almost amusing enough for her to snicker at how fast Lawrence moved about the store, picking things out and getting it all loaded up in the car. He didn't seem to have any fun teasing the sales associate in this store like he had in the clothing store, she noticed.

The demoness was perverse enough to want to disagree, to claim she needed more things and wasn't quite ready to go home yet. If only to watch him try to argue, or see if he would meekly submit to her desires. It was so obvious he wanted to be done and to go home and she didn't want to give him what he wanted, nothing else. But in the end, Lyari was tired of humans and their noises and smells - she wanted to go home and get everything set up for her bunny, to make it comfortable. So she resisted the urge to sigh in irritation, hating to do anything that he would enjoy, and nodded in agreement instead. Oh, how she hated that. Hopefully their needs wouldn't coincide very often or else she would have to punish herself merely to punish him as well - and what was the fun in that? She was hardly a masochist. "Fine. I am finished with the humans anyway," she remarked, in the same bored tone she addressed him with every other time.

The ride was silent, the demoness stretching her legs out and simply staring out the window. The ring irritated her. It wasn't the magic or the metal on her finger - it was it's mere presence, though it was much more tolerable than the collar. If she had to pick, it was the better option, but the fact she had to wear something like it at all was appalling. Still, she knew better than to try to pry it off and fling it through the window. It wouldn't end well for her own magic and she was not out to deliberately weaken herself. That was just stupid. Folding her arms under her breasts, Lyari didn't move a muscle, not even to blink, until they had arrived back at her new home. Without so much as a dismissive glance at Lawrence or the many bags that she was not going to carry, she simply exited the car and strode through the front door as if she owned the place already.

Lyari quickly retrieved her rabbit, the furry creature oddly sedate in the demoness' arms as she held it. 'Cuddle' might have been a more appropriate term for such a gesture, but it was clear she wouldn't tolerate even the mere thought of applying it towards her. Standing regally while the things were brought in, she watched as the bunny's supplies were brought into what the servants had labeled as her room, even though she had yet to even sleep inside it. Her foot tapped faintly, showing the slightest hint of impatience at the need to wait, and once they were done and disappeared from her sight Lyari strode into the room and shut the door to keep everyone out. The bunny, yet to be named by her, was deposited onto the bed while she surveyed the bags and items. Well, the ring's magic bound her own....but considerably less than the collar had. Whether Lawrence was aware of that or not, she didn't know and didn't care. She was merely pleased she was not as restrained as before, since she would never deign to perform manual labor - not even for her bunny.

So the demoness cheated. Using her magic, she easily manipulated the items into doing what she wanted. They were placed where she wanted, the hutch placed in the corner of the room where there was plenty of space. Lyari pursed her lips, realizing she should have gotten something for the bunny for outside, and then gave a shrug to herself. She could always blast a hole in the wall if she wanted to and build a little bunny balcony for her precious pet. Settling that in her mind for the moment, she resumed moving everything around, until it looked as if she had spent hours preparing a little bunny palace for the creature. The space for it took up most of the room, which bothered her not in the least. Lyari picked up the bunny, who had remained on the bed watching all the movement curiously with twitching nose, and set it down in the small fenced-in area for now to see if it approved. As it sniffed and began to hop around, it seemed that it did indeed approve of it's new living space and she smirked faintly, an expression that was quickly replaced by her usual impassivity despite there not being a chance anyone would see.

Letting out a breath, she ran a hand over her face. It had been a long time since she had used any of her magic at all, or even been able to. At her full strength, such exertion would be little more than taking a breath of air for the demoness - now it drained her more than she cared to admit and she was irritated by the discovery. Clenching her hands into fists at her sides, she let out another breath, the presence of her fluffy bunny the only thing preventing her from letting out a blast of rage that would have demolished the room, merely to be perverse. Instead she let her hands relax and crouched down to stroke the soft fur for a long moment, watching it intently. After the moment had passed, Lyari got back to her feet and left the room, making sure the door was securely shut behind her. Food was always a good way to regain her energy, since she couldn't simply suck the life out of the servants - fighting back against any punishment Lawrence would try to impose would be annoying and besides, they were completely out of her sight. For humans, they were more intelligent than she would have expected. Most considered her docile and not a threat at all, until they were proven very, very wrong.

Shrugging, the demoness headed downstairs to the kitchen, beginning to pick through the refrigerator to find something she approved of. At least it was appropriately stocked for her wants.

                                              ❝ I won't go getting tired of you ❞

Lawrence nearly sighed in relief when Lyari said that she was finished. He called the driver to pick them up and gathered up Lyari's bags with ease. When they left the shopping centre, the driver quickly helped load the bags into the vehicle and soon enough they were headed home. Lawrence leaned back and exhaled through his nose, closing his eyes. He was feeling worn out from the shopping trip but as long as Lyari got what she needed and they wouldn't have to return to the mall any time soon, he was satisfied. The shape shifter hardly had any fun teasing the employees at the stores they visited. He was just trying to keep out of Lyari's hair and give her some space since it was quite obvious that she disliked him. Not to mention he knew the ring didn't restrain her powers as much as the collar. But it was enough for him to handle.

Opening one eye, he glanced at the demoness who was sitting still and had her attention elsewhere. He couldn't figure her out. Lawrence had no clue what to do to get her guard down. At this point he just assumed that it probably wouldn't happen any time soon. It seemed Lyari was fond of animals and it made Lawrence wonder if she would treat him differently if he shifted into a wolf...? Maybe he would appear as a wolf in front of her later and see what happened.

Once they arrived home, Lawrence began to help unload the bags but the staff quickly shuffled out of the house and took the bags from his hands to bring them up to Lyari's room. Meemo came trotting out behind the staff and welcomed the two one. Lawrence leaned down and stretched out his hand to pet Meemo and to his surprise, the cat trotted over to Lyari first, rubbing against her leg as she walked by. Then Meemo proceeded to say hi to Lawrence by jumping into his arms. He smirked and scratched Meemo's chin. "What a traitor," he muttered as he kissed the cat's head.

While Lyari went off to her room to set up the bunny rabbit's enclosure, Lawrence headed towards the kitchen. "Time for your lunch," he said as he opened the fridge and pulled a container with a thawed rabbit patty from the bottom drawer. It looked like a hamburger patty but it was actually Meemo's raw food, which Lawrence caught and prepared himself. When the cat saw Lawrence opening the container she immediately leaned down for a bite and Lawrence pulled it away just in time. Meemo mewled and hopped down from Lawrence's arms, padding towards her spot in the corner of the kitchen as her owner prepared her lunch. Lawrence mashed the patty with a fork in Meemo's food bowl and then set it in front of the cat. She dove right in and once Lawrence knew that she was satisfied, he left Meemo to her meal.

As he made his way towards the rose maze in the back yard, Lawrence paused when he felt a release of energy from upstairs. He contemplated seeing what Lyari was up to but since he didn't sense a lethal aura, he assumed Lyari was just doing her own thing. The shape shifter had yet to see what Lyari could do with her magic but he left her alone. After all, curiosity killed the cat.

Lawrence just sat in the rose garden for a while before deciding that it needed some tending too. Lawrence was actually the one who took care of the rose bushes and flowers. He took his time watering the rose bushes and other flowers, making sure each plant got enough water but not too much either. It was hot out but he didn't want to drown the plants. Lawrence lightly pruned and fertilized the bushes, not seeming to mind the scratches he got where his gloves were covering his arms. Lawrence took his basket of roses and sat down at the table in the middle of the rose maze, stripping the thorns only from the bottom of the stems where it would be submerged in water and leaving the rest to prolong the life of the roses. He trusted himself enough not to p***k his finger on the thorns and Lyari as well. Once satisfied with his work, he wiped sweat form his forehead and leaned up any clippings to deposit of them in the compost.

The wolf tied his hair into a high pony tail and made his way out of the maze with ease and towards the house where he spotted Lyari going through the fridge. He paused and turned around before she could see him, heading in from the front. Maybe Lawrence was trying to hard but he wanted to leave the roses in Lyari's bedroom without her knowing that he had put them there. He made sure he was quiet as he tip toed up to her bedroom and left the roses nicely arranged in a crystal vase by her bed. Lawrence had a feeling that Lyari may throw them out but at least he tried. Maybe she would surprise him and take a liking to the flowers. Unless she found out he left them there... Then she would probably destroy them for fun. But luckily for Lawrence the fragrance of the roses would cover up his scent from the room.

Once Lawrence was finished, he returned to his bedroom and washed off sweat and dirt. The man changed into clean clothes before he headed down, feeling hungry as well. "Do you want anything prepared for you?" Lawrence asked as he entered the kitchen.
