Right outside the coffee shop was the pier. Boy, it looked nice tonight! Anise didn't say anything until the group was at the edge of the long pier with no one else to interfere. There was an important matter to discuss, and Anise had a feeling. "Ok, sorry for the mysticism." Anise rubbed her hands slightly nervous. "I'll just get right to it, if you don't mind. I can trust Luna; she seems like she's on the level for anyone's standards. The issue in this town and others that're attractive to demons and fallen is who to trust, and how to keep an eye on the riffraff. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to know if I can ask a favor of you both." She paused to weigh their reactions and let them absorb the scenario.
Domina raised a brow as Kamma was now inquiring about some form of favor for her. Her eyes shifting to the side in thought only to get somewhat distracted by the pier. It really was quite nice out. "Well that depends on the favor." She answered not wanting to agree till she knew what it was

Following the two girls out of the Coffee house, Yukimura just continued to scratch the back of his head as he went onward with them. Of course, he was also mulling on the words Domina spoke as he tried to ignore them, but his patience was running thin. "You don't know me or what kind of demon I am, so don't presume that I live to the traditional Demon code, Ms. Static. I do appreciate the phone being back online though." Yuki tried to wrap it up reasonably clean, not looking to cause another fight with her. He was far from happy that she called him boy, but he didn't want to blow his cover when there were already too many factors working against him. Now, the angel wants to ask him for a favor? Oh man, this was not going to end well.
"Favors take time and my time is money. Are you willing to pay for my services? If the answer is no, I'm going to walk away right now and never turn back."Yukimura spoke, not trying to be a jerk... but the world wasn't going to just let him work for free and keep living some fantasy life. If he was going to be dedicated to the cause, he had to make sure his life was being covered in exchange. His power was great, so if she took a gamble on him... He would make it worth her while.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she started to both of them, "I said 'favor,' but what I really meant was 'job.'" That'll wake 'em up. Jobs can't just not pay.
"As you know, I was talking earlier about the demon tournament. Out here we have plenty of eyes--although we could always use more--to watch Kuoh, but Sirzechs has ordered no angels or humans to be allowed into Hell during the tournament. As you could imagine, this is a problem for us. Michael and the others agreed to this, but they still would like to know what's happening: what kind of demons are getting put in charge, what are they doing with the humans they're recruiting? All kinds of questions." She paused briefly to fix her hair over the wind.
"We need you to see what kinds of devils are entering that tournament. As you could imagine Michael would pay handsomely; all you'd have to do is observe." There it was. The die was cast.

For the most part she had ignored the male demon; mostly since half her comments would just add to the ember of the growing fire between them. "Sounds simple enough, and I have no real ties to stop me from doing so. They're building the whole place from scratch for the tournament and from some pretty serious materials. That's all I know that probably isn't already known." Domina shrugged in thought. No one else had signed up either yet for all she knew. Most were probably going to enter last minute. "I'll do it indefinitely. But if you're not against such a thing, a mental link to share knowledge may be easier and quicker than me just trying to say everything down the road."

Sir Sirzechs and the Almighty Michael were involved with this? No wonder the tail paid so handsomely for Yuki to follow them. He didn't have the audacity to be caught and if Yukimura knew, he never would of took on the assignment. This was going to put both of the largest audience in the universe on him and if he failed his duty... there would be hell to pay. At first, Yukimura wanted to decline the offer she made to him... but he continued to think on it and despite the risk, the rewards were overcoming his sense of safety. Yukimura was a pro at stealth and blending in, so he wouldn't have that much of a problem being a tail... and worst comes to worst, he could bluff his way out of any scenario. With the pay, he could make ends meet and then some. Finally, the reward of being in the favor of both the heaven and hell themselves. "Promise me the money and one other thing and I will help out without question. If we succeed, Promise me an audience with Sir Sirzechs. There is something very important that I need to speak with him about." Yukimura spoke, stating his only other stipulation with working for both sides. Specifically in hell was where his interest aligned. His dream of making the Oni more respected may come to pass in the future at this rate, should he succeed.

"Good, that's already helpful," Anise said nodding to Luna. "A mental link would also help." Suddenly there was a pale gold light which caused a few heads to turn briefly on shore. Anise looked and Luna and smiled. Is this better? For the sake of convenience this line will only be open from 6PM to midnight. Then she looked to Yuki, who had a more business-like approach.
"Of course. I've heard the Devil King himself will be in attendance. I can't say for certain, but I would imagine those who do well in the tournament will gain his attention. I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you, but I don't really have the leverage to get you a more direct audience. Though I hear he's quite approachable!" She sighed a little. It was all she could do at the moment, especially with the limited communications between the Tournament Committee and Heaven. (Sirzechs isn't in charge of the tournament, he's just a figure head. You'll have to find that out yourselves. smile )
"Well, anyway..." She said checking her phone's clock. "I've gotta get back to Michael. I look forward to hearing from you two again soon." As she said this a glow enveloped her. "Until next time." And with another flash she was gone. The beach goers were definitely Instagramming this.
