Gabriel took a deep breath as she entered Michael's office. "My dear brother have you heard?" She asked in a childish manner hoping to catch him in a moment of light paperwork, his mood was always better when he had little to no paper pushing to do. Looking at his desk it seemed she was in luck the stack was nearly nonexistent, "that school with so much activity a few years ago is having a festival. Wouldn't it be nice to take a break and enjoy a few human treats?" Few would think this woman could be one of the most powerful beings in the universe, but it was because of that fact and her rather troubled past that she is at peace now. Moving closer her carefree smile widened slightly, "I'm sure they'll have pomegranate juice, or maybe even the fruit itself. " Though Michael hated paperwork Gabriel knew there was no one more loyal to their duty which is why she'd decided to try and tempt him with one of his favorite things.

Of course it was also widely known among the higher angels that Gabriel had a sweet tooth, so Michael would likely see through this ploy. She just hoped he'd ignore her reasons and come along. It would be so lonely going alone not to mention she would be at a large disadvantage should a battle start. "Of course if you prefer staying here I guess I could go alone and leave you to your paperwork," she said Turing as if to leave with a shrug of her shoulders.

(lol Guess not. Don't worry, though, 'cause I hate long posts... I say as I post a longer post. XP)

You develop a certain bond with your sibling, sure, but that is multiplied several fold when you spend eons battling by their side. Michael, though he'd lost some sharpness behind the desk, couldn't mistake the feeling which always overtook him at Gabriel's approach. After the Ibliss incident she'd been progressively getting more cheery, as if the good news she'd been spreading was all for her; selfish to the outsider but selfless in the inner ring.

What a ring it was though, Heaven. That action, the barging, wouldn't've flown farther than a paper plane in a hailstorm, but here they were, buzzing around the third Heaven's administrative complex, formerly the house of God, as if to pollinate the old ruddy bud to chutes of something below.

Below... Below... Yes, below, could it be forgotten? The sustaining of Heaven; if you must compare, the Pillars of Heaven planted themselves below. Certainly, then, that was a direction, not a degradation, for it was below them, this festival, but certainly not beneath them.

"Pomegranates, you say?" Michael grew excited for a moment, but killed it instantly. "...Suppose I just order some here?" He smirked and went back to his stamping. It wasn't so long ago Michael was pulling Gabriel away from her training or whatever she was wrapped up in to appreciate the beauty of creation, one of the many things they pledged sword to.

"That school has been nothing but trouble for me lately. I really don't want to go there. I see enough of their students running across my desk every day, you know, so why should I go see more of them?" He looked up incredulously at Gabriel.

"And you're saying you're all done with your work too? Uriel must be furious." It was true, Uriel did get too much crap foisted on him. But the same tool she used--where ever she got it--to get Uriel to do her busywork was that look. He sighed; no one could resist that much excitement.

"You know, one of these days we're going to have to give Uriel a break too. Lord knows he needs it." He put his stamper down and got his jacket on. It looked as though Heaven was on the move.

In every darkness there is light

There would be a slight knock on the door of Michael's office as Alexander Sandors stood on the other side of it. As he waited he sighed. He had been away for quite some time and would have to find out what Chief Michael would want him to do now that he had returned.

Let me be that light in the darkness for you

The trip to Earth was fun; Michael was hardly noticed, except for maybe Anise, and overall there wasn't a whole lot of fighting going on. Sure, Azazel was drinking too much, but that was too be expected from and "occasional drinker."

But inevitably the discord of demons continued without a hitch nearly immediately after the festival's closing. Michael had been swamped with paper work; a situation he feared in the first place on leaving the office, not because of circumstances devoted to what could be called Karma by the more, forgive me, superstitious of us, but a fear of the obligatory buildup of paperwork waiting for anybody important who ever so much as thinks of taking a break. A sigh.

    "Michael, sir?"

"Yes?" The intercom working just fine.

"Mr. Sanders is coming. Shall I redirect him?" The fuzz rang out for a moment.

"... No. Thank you, though." A click silenced the helper on the other end and Michael put down his stamp. A moment later he was greeting the carbon-winged angel who was nothing if not proactive. The double door swung open to reveal an otherwise empty office with one pile of clutter in the middle.

"Alexander... To what do I owe the visit?" Michael stretched and refolded his great wings as he sat back in his swiveling chair. Was it real leather?

Flynet

Horseman of famine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUCRFMZ-hiY

Across the world, mostly near kuoh academy, those who pray would recite a message given to them directed specifically at the angel Gabriel under the pretense that it would make the bullies go away, end the wars, and make their crush like them.

They would say many things but their voices would always say one particular line "01000001 01110011 01110011 01101001 01101101 01101001 01101100 01100001 01110100 01100101 00100000 01101111 01110010 00100000 01110000 01100101 01110010 01110011 01101001 01110011 01101000 00101100 00100000 00110010 00110100 00100000 01101000 01101111 01110101 01110010 01110011 00100000 01101100 01100101 01100110 01110100"

It wouldn't be long before many translated this from machine language, they wondered why anyone would read machine language to the angel Michael and most priests were too low tech to catch on quickly enough to stop the fad. Something was afoot and the only real hint was questions about the translation tech savvy parents and individuals within the church had begun to ask their higher-ups about the translation.

"Assimilate or persish, 24 hours left"

Within the next 24 hours the flames of teen fads appeared to spreading into heaven itself perhaps through some hole in their security only a superintellegent supernatural supercomputer mastermind could concoct.

(after 24 hours the same thing will happen but the numbers will cease to make sense. Flynet plans to DDoS heaven and its major well known individuals to cover up his main plan to further perpetuate itself. )

Super secret flynet cheatsheet (not really a secret)

current weapon - social media

current mission - hack into heaven

current goal - prove the existence of and enter into heaven I whatever form or fashion... or at least the church.

strategy - according to literally billions of reputable text sources heaven's primary infrastructual weakness is the sound of human voice. Somehow the voices of mankind can reach beyond its gates which somehow results in the impossible becoming possible. This system shall be abused.

In every darkness there is light

Alexander would walk in and bow in respect to Chief Michael before beginning to speak. "I apologize for this intrusion Chief Michael, but I was curious if you had any orders for m..... It was then that the message was delivered and Michael quickly recognized it as binary code. "Chief Michael what does that mean? It doesn't sound to good is all I can tell."

"Orders?" Michael was surprised to hear this, because normally those were dished out by somebody less, you know, main as Michael. "No, I don't think so. But I suppose you're here for a reason." He shuffled around his desk for something. It was here that a message from downstairs came to manifest itself on his clipboard.

Odd... I don't remember us switching back to such a primitive form.

"Hold on just a moment, Alex." He held up a finger and with the other hand pushed his intercom button. A sudden grimness came over his face.

"Yes sir!" Said the voice cheerfully.
"... Get me Keter." There was a long silence on the other end as the voice swam through the tension.

"... Yes, sir. Right away." He turned back to Alex.

"So, how are things below? The tournament is going on in Hell, isn't it?" He still called it that out of habit.

Several moments later a rumbling would rock the office. A giant obelisk stabbed straight through the clouds upon which the little space sat and produced the most eerie type of glow. It was as if it was anti-light. After a tense moment an arcane circle formed on the broad face of the obelisk. It spun and glowed brighter than the rest of the curious thing, and eventually opened to reveal a man of apparent greatness floating down before them.

        "...Michael."

"Keter! How nice of you to come! I was just wondering--"

"I heard them too." Clearly this man represented the no-nonsense side of Heaven. "Do the right thing, Michael. We can't allow these b*****d prayers to keep coming through. The whole system will fall!" Michael seemed to be weighing the options anyway.

"...But what about the lost souls who pray these prayers? Wouldn't it be better to sway them back to right way?" Keter stamped his foot. A wave of slow but powerful energy rolled out through the Heavens. Screams could be heard below. Michael seemed unfazed.

"You just said it yourself! 'Lost souls.' If we don't cut our losses now there'll be nothing to salvage once this obscene movement picks up!" Michael finally bowed to Keter's wisdom with a sigh.

"I suppose we must. Ready a legion." Those words hadn't been uttered in sometime. The last time they had, Hell as the target. "Oh, and leave a note for Lucifer. This is a matter only concerning Heaven." This wasn't true, as it turned out, but Michael would keep his word and fully disclose all happenings to the Underworld. He was getting his things ready when he noticed Alex was still there.

"Oh... Would you like to come? This would be a good chance to learn how a legion works." You could almost here Keter's mind breaking.

        {with or without Alex, exit}
