Two hundred years ago, a young Muggle woman fell in love with a mysterious man only known as Kronos who would only meet her by night. Eventually, she grew tired of only seeing him then, and decided to ask why he would not stay with her until morning. That was the night that Emma Rosenfeld went missing and started her life as a vampire.
For a few years, the clan had no name, it was just Kronos and Emma. But then it happened, Emma discovered her power. The couple was visiting a pub in Austria when Emma disappeared and the pub was filled with a shadow from which only a feminine voice taunted. It was due to this that Kronos gained inspiration for the name of his clan. He called it Shadowsong, in honor of his lover. His lover, he came to call Nyx, like the goddess of the night.
The couple continued to roam through Europe, feeding where they could. In the middle of the century, they found a young fledgling vampire who had been abandoned by their maker in (insert country here). A few days after meeting the fledgling he/she/they discovered his/her/their power: the ability to create and control lightening. It was decided that this new addition to the clan would be called Cloudburst.
Toward the start of the new century, Nyx decided that she wanted children. However, Kronos knew that she would not be able to have a child of their own. It was while they were in (insert country) that they visited an orphanage and decided to adopt a teenager. Of course, this meant that Kronos, being the clan leader had to change the child. It took a few years for their child's power to manifest, but when it did, the child was almost left behind as their power was the ability to bring their fear, as well as the fear of others to life. However, the child was able to learn how to control it, and was given the name of Harbinger.
Since the clan had now grown to four people, Kronos decided it would be a good idea to start keeping cattle, especially since they continued to travel. For the most part, cattle would come and go, however, Cloudburst found him/her/theirself falling in love with one of them. Kronos was soon going to let that person go back to their village when Cloudburst begged to have them be changed. Before he agreed to change, Kronos asked the human if they loved Cloudburst. He did not wish to let someone live an eternity with someone they did not love. The human admitted their feelings, and Kronos changed them.
It wasn't until the middle of the century that the newest addition to the clan uncovered their ability. The clan was almost wiped out because of it. Harbinger had decided to try to scare the fledgling, and caused them to emit a poisonous fog instead. Luckily, the vampires only became ill and the fledgling gained the name of Venom.
Around the same time, two more vampires were added to the clan. Neither one had been created by Kronos. The first, named Lamia had requested to leave her old clan and the Vampire Council had decided that Shadowsong would be the best place for her to go. Unable to argue, Kronos took her in. The second was a wizard-turned-vampire that they found on his own in England struggling to get by. He had the ability to tell when someone was lying and was called Inquisition.
However, this would not last long. Lamia, with her ability to seduce anyone she pleased was gaining attention in the places the clan would stop. Soon, vampire hunters were on their trail. Kronos was fine with evading them, as they would not last forever, however, Inquisition was not. Blaming Lamia, he killed her and then set out to do the same to the vampire hunters. However, it is likely he did not kill many of them, as the clan soon received word that he had been killed.
With the death of Inquisition, the vampire hunters left Shadowsong alone. Nyx, worried for her child told Kronos that he could not let any more people into their clan and to get rid of their cattle. Not wanting to lose his lover, he agreed and there were no new additions until the Second Wizarding War when a Death Eater had approached them and offered them safety and people to feed on if they would support Lord Voldemort.
Before the Battle of Hogwarts, Harbinger discovered that the Death Eaters did not actually support vampires at all. They were only using them. Once Kronos found this out, he decided to remove his support and kidnapped two Death Eaters and turned them. Both discovered their powers at the same time. One was able to infect humans with diseases and was named Pestilence. The other was able to create an astral projection of themselves and send it places as a form of communication was called Mirage.

RULES
1. Kronos' word is law.
2. You may not kill another member of the clan.
3. You may not steal another member's mate.
4. You may have children with humans, however you must care for your lover and your child and take all responsibility for what happens to them.
5. You may not steal any of your fellow clan member's possessions whether they be items or cattle.
6. Any humans you have claimed must stay by your side at all times.
7. You may only leave the clan to begin your own. In order to begin your own clan, you must gain the blessing of Kronos.
8. Kronos is the only one able to create fledglings and must approve all additions to the clan.
9. All powers must be shown to Kronos upon their discovery. Kronos will then bequeath the member with their vampire nickname.
10. You may not reveal the current location to anyone outside of the clan unless they wish to join it as cattle or as a human mate.
