The area's farmer's market is but thirty minutes drive from the center. The local fishermen and farmers bring all the goods they can manage here to be bartered for- a much more authentic experience than shopping at a supermarket. It is always unbelievably fresh, perfect ingredients for excellent dishes. Stalls are set up all through the small market, but mostly on its main roads- so your selections are all clustered together for your convenience.

The market assembles every Saturday morning and every other Wednesday, as well. On Wednesdays there are usually high discounts- and a lot of your local jewelry-makers and your occasional fortune-teller will come out as well. If it rains, as it often does, most of the stalls have hoods. Others bring tarps. The market opens at nine in the morning and is closed and shut down by seven in the evening.
