They had managed to get Tommy into the dorms and settled on a couch in the lounge area before Evan broke off from the group, doing a cursory sweep of the first floor just so he could say that he had; he was eager to look for Stormy. He managed to find a few trainees who hadn't managed to get out before the vines had covered the building and directed them to the safety of the lounge.

Before he could do much more, the crisis had suddenly declared itself over and all efforts went towards recovery and capture of those still infected so they could be dealt with. The long night became mid-morning before Evan's division had been relieved, and he had never been more grateful to have a bed to fall into. He didn't think it strange that it had slid away from the wall a few inches, merely pushed it back into place and collapsed into it.

A weak, nervous smile met his words, and Mimsy nodded to indicate that she understood. Or was trying to, at least - the look of hurt and betrayal on his face when she'd first come to her senses wouldn't quite leave her mind.

There was really no other evidence that indicated he didn't honestly trust her exactly as he said he did, especially because he didn't keep Peter away from her. Any concern that she had about some temporarily dormant destruction within her was obviously not shared by him.

"Yes. Okay," she agreed in a quiet exhale, cradling the child in her arms. Nothing disastrous happened, though he did acquire a tiny fistful of her braid. "I'll endeavor to ensure that nothing changes that. Ever."

Leaning against him, she took one last look around the room.

"Thank you, Alice." Then to Robert, while playfully nudging him as carefully as she could: "Take me home."

"YES! Thank you, Alice!" He screamed out, unable to see the girl but well aware that she was probably with them, watching over them, as she always did.

Robert took Mimsy to her word, and wrapped his good arm around her to lead her back out of the room, and head to their home once more.

If those vines had messed up the house, he was going to be so pissed.

Gale, for the most part, was simply exhausted rather than physically hurt, other than some scrapes and bruises and a few nasty cuts here and there. No broken bones, thank heavens, because he was still recovering from the snapped ribs from earlier; but it didn't mean that he felt any better than he looked.

Stormy was worse for the wear, and he took her hand without a word, the comfort of her presence just what he needed, although a talk was imminent in their future. For now, though, focusing on what they could do to rebuild and fix their home was on the priority list.

Gale's side of the room had hardly suffered any damage at all, to his eternal relief. Just a few things knocked over here and there, some shattered picture frames that had fallen off of the walls, a chair that had overturned, but everything else - including poor Tink in her cage - seemed to be all right.

[Kimberly - somewhere near the courtyard?]

Maybe it was a good thing that Kimberly had been by herself when everything hit the fan again. Though she had been cured of the initial virus the new one was working at her, but since she was alone, and saw no initial target she wasn't really able to act on anything. She just fell to her knees grabbing at her head, eyes turning red and breath coming in quick pants. She felt so mad, it was like everything good in the world had vanished and left her there as she currently was.

Lydia was kicking and screaming, trying to throw herself on Jake, and Arorangi grabbed her by the arm and spun her around, catching her into his embrace and dragging her several feet away. He was still shouting at her, albeit out of an attempt at helping her, rather than of anger, concern for her state of mind welling in the pit of his stomach. He didn't like seeing her this way; seeing the look of abject anger on her face, because it didn't match at all; this was Lydia, sweet, kind, bubbly, and quirky, and this new snarling girl was not her.

"It will be all right," said Arorangi, both to Jake and Lydia, even if the latter couldn't quite hear him yet. He flashed them what he hoped was a reassuring smile, and kept ahold of Lydia's arms, pinning them to her side. "Jake, do not worry, we will get you fixed up, all right?"

A tech ran towards them, a woman with blonde hair and an unfamiliar, stiff face. Before Arorangi had even time to react, she'd slammed a needle into Lydia's upper shoulder, injecting a sharp, neon green liquid into her veins, and then yanked it out, darting away even as Arorangi opened his mouth to speak.

"Lydia?" he said instead, looking carefully at her. "Are you all right?"

He had only just moved in, and sore, groggy, and barely able to think straight, he came to his room to see the window broken and shattered on his bed. The floor was covered in plaster from the roof and part of the wall was now cracked and broken. It would need a new beam to keep it stable. There was water pooling in his bathroom from where the sink's pipe was bursted and he went to turn off the valve to the water. He'd be in line asking for parts to be shipped. At least with everyone replacing their items, he could maybe runic enough to afford repairs.

He took a blanket and went to a corner of his room that still was clean and dry, and laid down to sleep.

It had been a miserable day, but he made sure, above all else, to ask Jan if he was okay. Once he was sure, once he got a response, he let his heavy eyelids flutter before passing out, phone still in hand.

"Up you get, honey." At least Lukas didn't seem so bothered by it. Now that she was sane, he also wasn't going to take any s**t, either. He'd get an arm under her elbow and he, at least, was strong enough to get her upright and moving. She needed to get to the infirmary, and he certainly wasn't going to mess around with arguing about it. He'd just haul her along in the direction she needed to go, whether she wanted to go or not.

"Let's get you looked at."
