Haha thanks! Same! Epik High was - is still - my favourite Korean band. I love their lyrics, Tablo as an artist and his writings, his daughter Haru, how they compose their own songs, and how their music isn't the typical love songs. They address world and personal (maybe insecurity) issues. I'm kind of glad they're more mainstream and well-known now.

I totally agree with you! And while I don't understand his lyrics most of the time. The way he sings/raps, and the tune of the song often says enough.

Exactly! I'm still hooked to "Happen Ending" now. Anyway, do you listen to a lot of Korean songs too? Or just a few?

Many years ago I was very much into Asian music. It started with DBSK, and evetually I expanded to other bands and artists. Over the years I have became very, very picky. I don't really like the new bands. And I tend to stick with artists and bands I used to like back in the day. Such as Tablo/Epik High, Clazziquai, Son Dam Bi, (bi)rain, Shinhwa, Bigbang, etc. etc. I still listen to it a lot. But I also listen to Japanese songs (utada hikaru and Miyavi) and western songs. 3nodding

Personally, I love the indie genre. I don't really do pop much.
Two Door Cinema Club, The wombats, Wolf Gang, Sir Sly, Coldplay, Young the Giant, The Temper Trap, MGMT, etc.

AND HOLY Pelican , YOU LOVE ALL THOSE I LOVE TOO <3
I literally know everyone from your list except for The Head and the Heart and Blind Pilot

I'm pretty eclectic, but I'm currently binging Indie via 8tracks. I usually listen to individual songs instead of artists 'cause I'm really picky with my music. But songs that make me want to pack up and go explore the world are usually instant fave's.

The artists I consistently like are For King & Country, Circus-P, Fall Out Boy, OneRepublic, and Kesha.

I also secretly have a huge thing for 8-bit. Huge huge thing.

That's cool! The bands you listed, I listen to them too. Recently, Big Bang came out with new songs/album.

Yes, occasionally I'd still go back to listen to older artists. Artists back then tend to have a little more originality with their genres. Nowadays, it's all about marketing the artistes, selling looks, and the groups become so similar and over-sexualised.

Utada Hikaru is lovely, first got exposed to her songs in 2006, and first listened to "First Love". I don't mind listening to Japanese music - or any music of any kind - just that I don't specifically go look them up.

Hahaha oops, seems like I've been talking too much about Korean music! I hope that didn't bore you.

The last songs of Big Bang, they kind are disappointed me. I only like Loser. :swear:

Yes! I know right! All theboy bands or girlbands all sound the same, have the same songs and the same sound. I mean, I don't know the difference between Muse and some other girl bands. lol

Oh, it's okay! 4laugh You didn't bore me!
