Karoth: -Finds himself walking toward the shop for the very first time. His eyes narrow, wondering what kind of residence could be in a place like this.- Quaint... -Mumbles under his breath.-
Neoma:: //wonders slowly between dark colored tents that had been mysteriously set up on the edge of town. The Circus she was apart of had set in this town for two days and would soon be opening it's gate for the common people. She had already seen quiet a few of the townspeople and their childern inspecting the tents behind the gate and wondering what was going no until they saw the flyer that had mysteriously appear the day after they first arrived in town.//
Karoth: -Keeps his hood over his face as he skims the tents. So this is what the common folk did with their free time? He mused, tilting his head from side to side to examine the patrons. Certainly strange people...-
Neoma:: //Her eyes glanced coolly over the group of people by the gates that were ogling the tents and the rides that where on the other side of the gate, that would soon be available to them tonight. She eyes landed on a curious mysterious fellow. He didn't seem to be looking at the tents and rides as much as the others but seeming to ogle the patrons as much or more then the night circus itself. She smiled and chuckled, he sure seemed mysterious with his hood pull over his face. from his actions and the way he was looking at everyone made her want to have some fun with him.//
Karoth: -He continued on his path, looking over the tents as well as the various people when he spotted the girl watching him. He mused, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly as he stepped toward her.- Is there a reason my presence seems to fascinate you so? -His voice was low and deep, holding threads of age in the richness.-
Neoma:: // She watched as he made eye contact with her and walked towards her. She gave a small smile and walked out towards him, meeting him at the gate, the other patrons didn't seem to notice her presence as they continued to press against the gate doors.// "Hello" //Neoma watched him thought her silver mask and gave him a small bow// "You just seemed so different than the other types of people we get at our gathering. What made you come all the way over here?" //she said in a soft cool mysterious voice.//
Karoth: -Seeing her bow, he smiled gently and returned it with an incline of his head.- Madam. -He addressed her before tilting to look out among the tents.- Research, I guess you could say. I'm not exactly from this world, though my daughter is.. So I figured I should get to know what this world is actually like. Though I will say that some of these gathering seem slightly.. odd..
Neoma:: //She tilted her head to the side with a small smile on her lips// "A family man? I really didn't peg you as a family man, Monsieur."// she said with a small teasing tone. // "Well our gathering wouldn't be a good place to research, we wouldn't really be able to be called 'normal'" //her smile grew a little.//

Karoth: -He gave a slight shrug of his shoulders.- Her mother took her away when she was just a bowl.. So I've been.. searching.. -Eyes the place and muses.- I see. Still, it gives me some insight as to how the denizens of this world acts. -He gives a bow.- My name is Karoth Jormungand, The Count of Dis. To whom do I own the pleasure?
Neoma:: //She gave a small smile and gave a small bow in return as she introduced herself.// " I am Neoma Sombre Noir. I am better known as 'Madam Noir' here. You'll defiantly get to see many type of people within the patrons tonight, we do grab a lot of different people from many walks of live, Monsieur Karoth."
Karoth: It's a pleasure, Madam Noir. -Lowers his head again before glancing around once more. He slightly mused, tilting his head to one side.- I hope you do not think me an imbecile.. but what is it exactly that you do here?
Neoma:: "Not at all..." //she said as she smirked up at him// "I make sure there isn't any 'accidents' and keep control of the more 'feral' beasts.I keep everything in order." //she looked up at him and gave another smile.// "If you'd like would you like a tour before the gates open tonight?" //she asked as she indicated for him to enter into the grounds. As she did a small portion of the gate disappeared like smoke, bellowing softly in the light wind of the evening, allowing him access into the ground.//
Karoth: -He mused, shaking his head back and forth when he noticed the intent of his meaning wasn't grasped.- My apologies... I mean... what are these tents for..? What is this gathering for? 'Accidents' and 'beasts'..? -One brow quirked through it was hard to see through his hood.- It definitely sounds like a very interesting get together... -He then nodded.- I do think I'd like a tour, perhaps it could help answer some of my questions.
Neoma:: "ah thats what you meant." //she chuckled.// "well this is a night circus." //she indicated.// "its quiet a bit different from a normal circus, which tends to focus on fun, light, and other things... We tend to focus on dark, mysterious things.But the purpose is the same, we entertain and mystify our patrons. " //she explained a little bit.// " the tents are for holding the show, also residences for the other performers as well as storage." // she smiles a bit// "as for 'accidents' and 'beasts'. some of our performers are not all that inhuman, and tend to have little accidents with patrons during their shows. As for beast, we employ a many of animals, many that are not from this world..."
Karoth: Circus..? -He mulled over the word in his head for a while, trying to figure out if he knew what the use was for. In the end he just gave up, figuring he'd learn sooner or later what she meant.- So.. am I to assume that this is a place of entertainment? -Eyes her when she mentions "dark and mysterious".- I seriously doubt this world knows hardly anything of darkness and it definitely wouldn't be in a place composed of theatrics. -Almost seems a little offended.-
Neoma:: "it is often thought of a place of entertainment." Neoma look at him and frowned. "Unlike other places, we do not put up an act." she said in a more serious voice. "Some of our performers are from the darkness, but maybe not the kind your use to..."
