It's very different from person to person. Some ukes really are totalitarian dictators out side of the sack - and even in it! There are no rules set that limits what a top or bottom can or can't do. Some tops are horribly mushy-gushy romantic and cry in the middle of chick flicks too 3nodding

Actually, Ive read plenty of fanfics where the top and bottom are determined by what sort of mood they're in. So one of them can be on the top while in the next go round the other guy's on the top.

Kinda like a fight, lol, ya never know who'll come out on top. 3nodding

Well, I thought of it more like this;

Uke represents the female, and Seme represents the male. In a lot of hetero relationships, the male is wrapped around the females finger until it comes to sex. Then the male is in control...

Is it even possible to be Uke and Seme? eek

See, I never like it when people say Uke "represents" this and Seme "represents" that. It seems to me uke just means you take it. I like Saiyuki yaoi, (see sig), but I can't see Sanzo as "the girl" in most fics I read. True, he ends up on his back, but still...

And being Uke and Seme... sure, ever heard of a threesome? twisted

It differs. Ever if we are talking about stereotypical relationships, there are still many different stereotypes. Personally, I'm particularly fond of ships in which the uke is actually the person 'in control', but in bedroom he always plays bottom, because it's his own (perhaps kind of subconscious) choice. This is just one possible scheme, though.

There is nothing wrong with having a dominant uke character. In a heterosexual relationship, a female can be dominant, so why not an uke? 3nodding
