[ How can I become a moderator or administrator? ]


To become a moderator, the administrators (and possibly other moderators) will 'stalk' you and follow you around, seeing how you post and react and act on Gaia. After however long, which may always be different, if the administrators believe that you are fit to be a moderator they will send you an invitation via private message, which you may then accept or decline. What the administrators look for, exactly, is only known by them. It may be different for the different kind of moderator they want, or for the person they are looking at. Only they will know. :)

Would you like my advice on trying to become a moderator? Be a consistently active (NOT "always active", just be consistent in your activity) providing member of the community. It also doesn't hurt to show compassion and respect to other members. If you do this, perhaps some day you will be a moderator; if not, you've become the better for it.

Becoming an administrator.. well, there is no way to do that. Administrators are paid employees of Gaia Online Inc. If someone does become an administrator, no one really knows about it. Administrators work on Gaia in many ways- some of which we normal users don't even know exist. To put it simply, if you become an administrator, you become an administrator. That's about it.

Being a Moderator has always been my gaian dream. I hope someday to acomplish my goal.
