It had been a while since his quest to obtain the Greater Leggings of Draco, and Ignatius finally felt ready to attempt to tackle questing again. He had been victorious last time, even if it had taken a few tries with Arrakis to get there. Now, he would try to be victorious on his own. This time, he had gotten himself a new horse, considering how much his last horse seemed to hate the prospect of questing, considering it abandoned him literally every time he had gone on the quest. Perhaps if he got himself a different horse, it would not be so inclined to leave him to his own problems every time he attempted to quest. It might anyway, considering how finicky a lot of the horses seemed to be, but this one seemed a bit better behaved, at least, and that was certainly a good enough start for Ignatius. Carefully, he gathered his food, attempting to grab as much as he thought a singular person on a quest would need. Maybe he wouldn't drop it all off a cliff this time, or maybe his damn horse wouldn't run away with it! That was certainly the key. Hopping onto his horse after he properly equipped it, Ignatius set out, ready to give this questing thing another whirl. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 29/29 YOUR HP: 50/50

It was unfortunate that as soon as Ignatius left the area and got himself up onto the cliffs, he began to feel ill. It took him over bodily, causing him to cough and keel over. This was terrible. Dysentery. He was quite familiar with the disease already, and knew he would have to go back and attempt this again another time. Ignatius took his obedient horse back towards Camelot. Once he felt better, Ignatius prepared to go on his quest once again. Gathering his more obedient horse and strapping his food goods onto it, he swung his pike into a holder on the side and headed out to go on a quest for another artifact. He would not get sick this time, dammit. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 28/28 YOUR HP: 50/50

Fortunately, as Ignatius ventured, he discovered he was feeling much better this time. There was no dysentery anywhere to be found on his system, and he was quite easily traversing the cliffs without falling off. So far, so good. That was, until a particular mission to dodge things left him dodging a hive of bees. Bees?! Ignatius flailed, attempting to get the bees to go away before they inevitably chased off his horse, but it was too late. The horse bucked him off and ran away with quite a bit of Ignatius' food, leaving him quite frustrated. Why did none of his horses want to actually travel with him?! It wasn't that he smelled bad or something, was it? Or was it his enthusiasm? It definitely couldn't be that... QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 23/28 YOUR HP: 50/50

Ignatius was traveling along by himself, losing a bit more of his food along the way, perhaps due to the extra energy he needed for the extra walking he needed to do. Ugh. He was really beginning to dislike horses. What was their aversion to quests, anyway? He was convinced it had to be an aversion to quests and not him, because nothing about him was necessarily bad or dislikable. That was an unnatural and incorrect answer to his problems. It was then he stumbled upon some extra food on the ground. Had someone abandoned it, or had they left it just for him? See, he was likable! Someone thought to leave him food! (Or it was just a coincidence, but he would pretend it was just for him, anyway.) Scooping up the food and putting it with the rest of his food, Ignatius continued on, unbothered by the winding of the forest which was becoming quite familiar to him. Now it was time to make it up the Dwarven Mountains. That might have been quite intimidating, but Ignatius was not fearful at all, especially after he had seen what was going on with the Great Knights. Considering what happened to them, a little bit of a giant mountain was nothing at all! And anyway, he had conquered this plenty of times before. There was no way he wouldn't do it again right now, easily making his way up. It seemed that fortune was smiling upon him during this particular trip, as when Ignatius made it towards the top of the mountain, he found another deposit of left over food. Ha! People really did like him! Ignatius bowed to nothing dramatically, giving a proud grin before he scooped it up, placed it with the rest of his food, and continued his way towards the summit. There was no way he wasn't going to make it now. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 33/28 YOUR HP: 50/50

After he had ate a bit more of his food, Ignatius found himself with as much food as he had started with when he made it to the top of the summit. That was fascinating to him, and he laughed. Despite his dumb horses, he had somehow made it work so well that he had leftover food! This was absolutely perfect! And that was when he saw it. It was a beautiful helmet, and Ignatius knew he had to possess it. He reached out for it, watching out carefully for any symptoms of dysentery as he approached. Thankfully, none came, and he was able to grasp the helmet freely and put it on his head. That was his now. Victoriously, Ignatius headed back down, back to Camelot he went!
