I didn't foresee myself ever writing anything like this... but, what the hell.

I don't share a lot about myself around here. Aside from my name, most people don't know much about me. Some know my age; to those that don't, just know that I've probably been here longer than you and yet I am still probably way younger. Throughout my life, I've done a damn good job of keeping all my lives separate. Gaia, WoW, misc. internet friends, and my real life. All of them stay separate. Today, I'm sharing something very personal with you guys.

After roughly a year, my relationship with the best woman I've ever met has ended. It was about a year ago where we professed our love to each other. This morning, about an hour ago, she told me she just wanted to be friends.

I'm not angry. I'm not grieving. I'm not in a rage about the little details. I'm simply... hurt, to be honest. I don't think it's fully hit me yet. It wasn't my longest relationship, but it was my best. I poured everything into making her happy, every single day. Ask King if you don't believe, I've ignored him multiple times to spend time with her. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, I took a wrong step. Now... I've lost her.

A year ago, I would be moping for weeks. Now, I am just... here. I don't intend to project my heartache upon you guys or take it out on anyone. The fact of the matter is, the majority would lash out, in my shoes. They would mope, be angry, just let everything go, and I understand 100% why they would. A major part of my life was taken away, and I feel like I've been robbed of a year.

Life goes on, though. The point is, don't give up guys.

s**t's gonna get rough. For some of you, you're just now starting to get on your feet as adults. s**t's gonna get rough. You're gonna have problems, whether it be around love or not is irrelevant. No matter what, don't give up.

To everyone else, the ones that have their lives together, you know the struggles you guys are having. Never give up though. No matter what curveball is thrown your way, don't give up.

I feel like there's a speech in here somewhere, but around 24 hours without sleep is heavily negating my writing abilities. I know it seems bizarre for me to just write this up; perhaps I'm just writing it for me. But no matter what guys, don't give up, on anything. On your dreams, on your love, on your life. Never give up, never surrender.
