A small, retro-style cafe sits quietly on the top of an old building in the backside of New York City. Thriving business here is scarce and the stores tend to look run-down. Little advertisement is spread around here and places are only known by word of mouth in a passing conversation.
Running this particular place is a peculiar, middle-aged couple who set the place up right after their teen wedding and have been barely keeping it going since. The husband, fat and bald, is the cook and specializes in greasy burgers and ultra-thick milkshakes. His wife, always dressed in things not appropriate for her age, or body-type, is the head waitress, cashier, manager, accountant... You name it. She runs everything and is always chatty with the customers. Occasionally, they will hire in a young waitress to help out around the place until said waitress decides to find a more 'refined' job.
