Hello everyone! I've been doing a lot of thought lately [yes, be scared! Acy thinks! Hahaha xDD] and have decided to bring up some ideas with you all for your opinions. Please answer in this thread and do so honestly! <3
1) Cosplays. Everyone loves them. However, what happens when someone grabs a cosplay and then vanishes from Pockettu for a long period of time, if not forever? Is it fair to other people that this cosplay will forever be unavaliable to anyone because someone else moved on with their life?
My idea is if after a 6 month period, if the owner of a cosplay is no where to be found at Pockettu and has not notified myself or Val of absence that the cosplay is eligible to be made via customs for someone new. This way the original owner of the cosplay can keep their pet and someone else can now enjoy the cosplay they so desperately seek! If the original owner for some reason resurfaces, then both versions will exist in the store. After all, they are only toys.
2) Remakes. Got a pet from ages ago and noticed the colorist's art is getting better and better? Or are you just unhappy with how something turned out for whatever reason? Should there be an opportunity to get a pet remade through custom slots?
3) Additional outfits. Some people in the past have mentioned this and I've always said no. But I think it could be fun. However you would have to pick one and stick with it as the main which would be used for breeding purposes and what not. Again, this would be through customs and the original Pockettu will be edited to reflect the new outfits.
4) Minis. Should we have a few events dedicated to minis? I know they're rarer but they're almost non-existent! The poor little guys need some love. Your opinions? Suggestions?
5) Factions. Should we keep them or dissolve them? Any suggestions for changes that could improve them if we keep them? I feel bad that the two factions we currently have just kinda fell off the face of the Earth... [The Assassin's Creed based faction fell apart when some of the major players in the Brotherhoods vanished, it's kinda hard to keep it going without being one sided. And for the Anarchy faction, I simply don't know what to do with them]

1. Yes, I'd say that 6months is a reasonable time frame for someone to let you or me know what's going and if they're going to be back before a cosplay is allowed to be remade. This makes it more fair for everyone.
2. Honestly I'm not too sure with this one.
3. Yes, but you know why I'm saying yes to this one. XD KuriMitsu Police AU outfits or their non-fighting alt outfits.
4. Yes, Minis need more love. owo
5. I'm not sure about this one either. I'm going to tentatively vote for keeping them, only because it'd be a pain in the a** to me to have to recert/move things around again. XD But that's just me.

1. I agree specially when it's clear the person has quit gaia
2. Remakes are nice, I personally don't need any right now since all my pets are pretty new
3. I would love this, ^_^ would love outfit changes for some of my pets, and I don't mind sticking with the new outfit for breedings
4. How about a mini's ball??
5. I really don't have any input here since I don't have any and don't know how to get any

1. I also agree to this. Six months is an appropriate amount of time. And you're absolutely right, these are just toys. And a cosplay is just one who puts on the outfit and plays the part. It is not the exact character. Just someone dressing and acting as that character. To me, a Cosplay is an extreme fan and that is all (and there's always more than one fan around).
2. Remakes would actually be nice. However, I feel that if the Pockettu in question for a remake was made by someone who is currently still on staff, particularly active staff, then it should be remade by them. Remakes for the sake of enjoying an old favorite in the original colorists' new design is great! Remakes because you decide this colorist is better than the original colorist is kind of... uhm... crappy.
3. Outfit changes would be so great!
4. Minis could definitely use some love. Don't see too many of those cuties running around.
5. I have no idea about the factions. I suppose if room for improvement can be found, and new active players are willing to enter the game, then by all means, keep them! If not, then it might be simpler to dissolve them if they're going to continue to wither.

1. I agree with this. It's actually a pet peeve of mine when people get pockettu and then drop off the face of the earth. Even though they are clearly active in other shops. >n>
2. I agree with the idea of remaking pockettu. It would be cool to see updated versions of them or just fixing the things that just don't really go good on the pockettu. My friend was actually talking to me about a minor detail on a custom that was off but an easy thing to edit. So yes, I do think remakes should be allowed.
3. I would be all for this if I knew how we would pull it off. But I am confused. XD
4. I don't see why not.
5. Maybe Anarchy could be greeted with other gangs and rival with them? We could have gang wars and what not. I dunno. XD I don't really have any input for this.

1) I totally agree with this. *points to other peoples posts* pretty much what they said. *nod*
2) Not really sure, mainly for the reason Pandie mentioned. It's not really cool to get a remake of a pet someone made just because you think another colorist is better. But I suppose that if the former colorist is no longer around or the remaking colorist is that same, I don't see the harm if people are interested.
3) Sounds cool, though I don't think I really understand how this would work. From a colorist stand point is seems difficult fro anything other than minor changes. Especially is the original colorist and the outfit colorist are different potentially resulting in clashing art styles.
4) Yesh! Mini's could use some love. <3
5) I don't have much of an opinion here. I haven't really done anything with factions yet. They could be cool if people want to come up with some sort of plotting. Some sort of meta, events or something to breath life into them and keep people interested.

1) Agreed!
2) I've actually offered in the past to do remakes. I don't mind them honestly. Even in the shop I used to be apart of I'd do remakes once a year no charge on my end. Though this can be up to the colorists doing remakes if they charge or not - I personally see it as a then/now kind of challenge.
3) Eeeh, I'm not so sure on this one. We could easily do art shop stuff to give a more personalized view.
4) MINIS! Ermegerd yes. I kind of had an idea of maybe a one-who-rules-them-all kind of God/Goddess that would be the Protector of Minis should the bigger toys decide to pick on them. But not really a God/Goddess....if you get my gist.
5) I have no clue....I never really got into all that stuff so I'm very confused and/or lost on the whole concept sadly.
