Hello hello! Sho and Zaire have become parents for the very first time. Godling babies are pretty big, and these two will have their hands full! Yushika and I will do our best to help them out, but we're going to need a third person!

Meet your family
Sho Your father God of Flutes Powers: Sho can play every kind of flute there is and can coax the sweetest melodies from even the roughest of flutes. He can make a flute out of almost anything, including magic, and thus can make instruments specially attuned to specific individuals.
About: Sho was abandoned as a bowl and has no idea who his birth parents are. He spent most of his earliest days in an orphanage where he was shunned by the other children for his size and strangeness, and passed over by the adults who didn't want to risk the anger of gods in case the godling had been stolen. He spent most of his time making flutes and playing the same few notes over and over. Then one day he met Nightingale, a painfully shy Noodle with an enchanting voice, who had heard Sho playing and offered to teach him how to read sheet music so he could learn to play different songs. The two bonded instantly and Nightingale ended up adopting Sho. Though he had eventually found a loving family, his time in the orphanage left it's mark on Sho. He once hated his unknown parents for abandoning him, though he has since become merely resentful and even that is fading. The rejection of the other kits and adults, having to spend so much time on his own, has made him very reluctant to show his feelings to anyone and also causes him to harbor doubts about whether or not he was defective, a freak. A storm of negative emotions raged in the heart of the god, and besides the most immediate of his adoptive family and very young children he trusted no one. Just seeing another god or goddess used to make him upset. There's no telling of far he went on his downward-spiral of self-doubt before he met Zaire, but it's clear the influence she's had on him. While he will never be an effusive ball of sunshine he has at last found peace in his heart and a safe harbor from the storm. He's mostly quiet, has a sarcastic wit paired with a dry sense of humor, and is intensely protective of those he cares about. His fellow orphans in that orphanage aside, Sho has always liked children, even at his most depressed, and has often chatted with bowls or served as a living playground or bed for kits. He will positively adore his babies, turning into an animated and playful creature with an endless amount of patience. Protective doesn't even begin to cover his feelings towards his children. It's also a good thing he has Zaire, otherwise they would become spoiled rotten; it'll be next to impossible for Sho to deny his children anything they want. Zaire Your mother Goddess of Stability Powers: She can influence a persons decisions when they need guidance by harping on their desire to keep a stable life. People who need help choosing to change or continue life the same will often find themselves choosing to stay on the same path they always have when around her. She cannot force someone into doing this, it only affects those in need of guidance and only if they already have a slight desire to do so. She can also put restless people into a peaceful state for a day or so if she touches them, and she often will! She wants people happy and calm, and she can sense when others are too restless. Her being can inflict a security of calm within a persons heart, and soothe someone in troublesome times.
About: Zaire is a quiet individual, primarily because she simply enjoys peace and quiet. It isn't that she hates noise, nor does she hate those who are noisy, she simply chooses to live a peaceful life. It seems the only consistent noise she deals with willingly is her brother's constant chatter. So, she is able to handle noise, it's apparent by the fact Adien is constantly in her life, it is just she chooses to exist as a quiet woman. She can come off a bit monotone, but this is directly because she never has needed to show emotions. But she feels them, she truly does. She isn't the best at showing them, and realizes normal people usually expect you to show how you feel, so when she tries she can come off as a bit awkward or monotone. But she tries. She's also an extremely calm person, so match that with her monotone voice and she may seem cold. Again, she isn't. She's also patient. She's one who can just keep doing the same thing forever and never mind. She can wait for a long, long, long time, not minding it. She likes peace, and she likes keeping things stable. You'll very rarely find her upset, mostly because not much upsets her. She takes things as they come, and she accepts most things. Even the bad parts of life. It tends to infuriate her brother, but she doesn't mind. Zaire is the kind of woman who just exists. She isn't passive, not truly, she won't ever let someone walk all over her. But she will rarely fight against something nature throws at her, or something she knows pleases others. So, this can be a bit conflicting when it comes to whether or not she's a passive creature. She won't let you control her or force her into something she doesn't want. But, she'll willingly do something for others benefits, because she wants to. Therefore, it isn't forcing if she has desire to perform the action. So, while she won't let you harass her into obeying you, she will step forward and do what you wish if she knows (before you attempt harassment) it'd benefit another because she wants to keep peace flowing. She lives to make life as stable as possible. To keep the flow of events consistent, and never confusing, unlike her brother. Zaire will work hard to maintain harmony in her family. If the kids misbehave they'll get a soft lecture. She'll be a very trusting and quiet mom. Doting.

On Zaire's side:
Adien Your uncle God of Instability Powers: He can put ideas of change into someone's mind, inspire 'on a whim' sort of things, but can't force them to do something that they don't wish to do. He can also manipulate fire, though he cannot create it.
About: A stubborn and loyal one. His domain is Instability, as he doesn't like simply going with the flow. Roll with the punches? Why should he, when he can throw in a few kicks and make things more interesting? He isn't who you would call the most open-minded individual, often trying any means necessary to achieve something he's put his mind to. He tends to be on the louder side, not afraid to say what he thinks without a filter. More often than not, you can find him frolicking in deserts or sunny places, and he is drawn to fire and explosives. The only one who can really calm him is Zaire, and she's the only one who really puts up with all of his shenanigans.
On Sho's side:
Nightingale Your grandfather (adoptive) Powers: His voice is so beautiful it can enthrall others when he sings. However gods and AIs are immune to him.
About: Nightingale is extremely shy, to the point where it cripples his social life. He's gotten much better since meeting Marduk, but he will always be quiet. He's very kind though, and will put up with quite a bit that makes him uncomfortable just to be able to help others. He's reluctant to sing from others. At first it was because he didn't have the best control over his power. Now, though he can sing without causing enthrallment, he's not fond of the attention it draws to him. Sho is the only one he sang for unreservedly. His children have enjoyed the same privilege, and his grandchildren can also beg Nightingale for songs whenever they want.
Marduk Bloo-Pardus Nightingale's mate Powers: He can manipulate water and specializes in healing magic. Sho made him a flute out of seashells, silver, and Marduk's own magic to help him practice different kinds of spells.
About: Marduk is a bit of a girly fellow, prone to blushing and squealing over things he finds cute, which is quite a bit of things. He's excitable and has a determinedly focused mind; if something catches his interest nothing will do but for him to pursue that interest until he achieves his goals. He makes friends in a similar manner, armed with kindness and a cheerful attitude. He's the type to never let a good deed go unrewarded. Marduk's glasses are the only thing he's doesn't like people messing with, for he's nearly blind without them. As a dad Marduk is wrapped around the paws of his kits and encourages them to go after their dreams. Around the young goddesses though he may be nervous. It's not the poor fellow's fault though. Sho used his powers of intimidation the moment he got wind of the fact that Marduk liked Nightingale, and it left a bit of a mark; now he's nervous around any deity he meets. He'll probably feel quite a bit of sympathy for the girl's future suitors.
Anuket, Grannus, Nephthys Your aunts and uncle (adoptive) Powers: Still undiscovered, they're all quite young.
About: Anuket is the quieter of the girls. She's quite taken with Sho and often asks for music lessons from him. She'll likely play little lullabies for her new nieces. Nephthys is full of spunk and adventure. She'll be right there to lead her nieces off on quests of exploration, and can always be counted on as a playmate. Grannus is the only boy in the entire gaggle of young females. He's quiet ball of sunshine, up for anything his sisters come up with and will likely treat his nieces the same way.
Cadence Your great grandmother (adoptive) Powers: She can invigorate plants and help their growth by singing songs to them.
About: Cadence is probably the sweetest, most motherly person you'll ever meet. She opens her heart up to anyone and will treat them like family. She's the type to be all smiles and hugs and offering tasty treats, will always have an ear or shoulder available to those who are upset or feeling troubled, and doesn't scold unless there is good reason too. If you ever need advice, she's the one to ask.

☀ Naming There are no naming themes or last names for this family. Just nothing too crazy please!
☽ Powers Your bowl is a goddess, so naturally she's going to have her own domain and powers. Please keep in mind her parent's domains (Flutes and Stability) when choosing your own domain. Be sure to check the Gods and Cosplays* thread to make sure the domain you have in mind isn't taken.
☀ Some information Your mother and uncle are two forces of a whole, yin and yang, and in the most literal sense they need each other to survive. It's not just a matter of existing on the same planet together; they will die if separated for more than 3 days. You all live on a beach, as it is the most balanced place they have found where they can both be comfortable. Your adoptive family lives at least a full-day's flight away so you won't get to visit very often (your great-grandma has an especially beautiful and fun-to-play-in garden), but most of them have wings and don't mind dropping by for a visit. IC-ly speaking, the family members you'll see the most of are Sho's father, Nightingale, his mate, Marduk, and their children, Anuket, Grannus, and Nephthys, who are about the same age as these bowls and (again, IC) will still be kits when the godlings first crawl out of their own bowls.

Just a quick note. There were a couple entries in the thread that didn't clearly list a domain, so I skipped over those. I'm sure there are also gods and goddesses that haven't been entered in the thread; I think there's a Goddess of Hallmark Cards, or just Cards. I dunno. But these are all the ones that are listed. Personality: Rhapsody is very kind to every one, she likes to keep the peace and instinctively try's to help everyone. Rhapsody is very quite and, wont talk to anyone unless she is spoken too, or she is very close to them.
Prompt: 1
Though Rhapsody knows her mom and uncle need to be close she feels, jealous of him as she does not get as much attention from her mother as she would like. Her kind nature makes it so that she can't stay mad at her uncle very long and, she will sometimes turn her nose at him playfully. Rhapsody does not know why her mother and uncle have to be close but, she has grown use to it while growing up, and knows they have to be close. Rhapsody will always fight for her mothers love, but understand why she will only get so much of it. Rhapsody hope that in her future, she can find someone that she can be close to just like her mother and uncle.
Future plots: Family plots, try and keep everyone in the loop.

Name of bowl: Harumi ( "spring beauty" in Japanese ) Domain: Inner-Beauty
Personality: Soft and motherly, Harumi has inherited her parent's quiet nature, in addition to her mother's passion for helping noodles. Born with the ability to show the best in every noodle, Harumi wants nothing more then to show those who need her help how much they are worth.
She is rather perceptive when it comes to other noodle's insecurities about themselves. She herself has a healthy respect and appreciation for herself, though she has often wondered whether this was because of her mother's domain's influence, granting her a stability within herself, instead of her own.
Prompt: 4.
Harumi was always able to see the best in people and bring their good features to light, but what was most important was that she could make those who were otherwise discouraged of their good qualities see themselves in a better way as well.
At first, Harumi thought her domain was Motivational Speaking, for she could always somehow manage to allow her siblings and parents to see how much she admired them for all of their splendor, simply by talking to them. It wasn't until much later, when she had reached late adolescence, that she realized she wasn't simply giving noodles the confidence to go out and act, but to see themselves in a new, beautiful light.
Teaching noodles how to love themselves, especially when they really needed to be able to, was such a wonderful gift and Harumi couldn't think of any other domain that would've made her happier.
Future plots: Family RP for all family members (Sho's family too!) When she's grown and has come into her domain/powers a bit more, I'd like for her to part ways from her family for a bit and go find noodles that may require her assistance.
Anything you want to add on how she relates to her family?: She sometimes strays from her mother's side to experience her own powers and domain, as she often gets her own powers confused with her mother's. Such occurrences do not mean that she loves Zaire any less than she does the rest of her family, it simply means that she's trying to become "secure" in her own domain and better control her powers.
While not musically inclined like her father, younger sister, or her father's family, she holds an appreciation for the musical arts, for she realized at a young age how it has come to shape her family and she supports it however she's able.
While at first uncertain of the relationship between Aiden and her mother, she has come to realize that is it not one that will ever jeopardize the love her mother has for her father. This childish fear was put to rest around the same time she learned of her true domain and she has become since relaxed around her uncle.
Name of bowl: Hatoko (dove child) Domain: Goddess of Bonds
Personality: Hatoko has an inquiring mind, and she's very curious about the world around her, often asking questions, even deeply philosophical ones. She's not at all loud or rowdy, but a little like Adien in the sense that she's extremely blunt, nearly always speaking her mind. She doesn't intentionally hurt anybody's feelings, but she values truth, even when it's painful, above convenient lies. Her extended family intrigues her a fair bit, because they're all much smaller and their powers more modest than a god's. Growing up, I can see her enjoying having aunts and uncle of nearly the same age as playmates, and she will likely wish to keep in touch with them through adulthood as well, even if they grow up apart somewhat. As an adult she'll be quite protective and nurturing, wishing for people to cherish their bonds with others.
Prompt: Mixing 1 and 4
It's not that Hatoko dislikes Adien, quite the contrary, but as a child it somewhat upsets her how, in her eyes, Zaire seems to love Adien more than she loves Sho. She'll be careful to never express this aloud, but on occasion gets huffy and will retreat somewhere on the beach either alone or with her siblings when Adien is around. This behavior may confuse the family, since she's always so straightforward. However, once she grows up a little, one day Hatoko discovers she has a unique gift. She can actually see the bonds connecting people, as delicate little strings between individuals. At first it simply confuses her, but soon she grows curious of her ability, and begins to work on perfecting it - eventually being able to tell apart different kinds of bonds! It is then, that she discovers Zaire and Adien have a particularly curious tie between them, aside from their familial one. At that point her childish 'animosity' towards her uncle disappears for good, as she understands her mother needs him, but still loves her father dearly as well.
Future plots: Obviously family interaction, god and non-god alike <3 Also I would love to get a chance to work on Hatoko's power more, as she'd potentially be able to sever unhealthy bonds, making the people involved see each other as strangers and basically giving them a "clean slate" in regard of one another. This is something I would want to get to actually RP/plot out.
Anything you want to add on how she relates to her family?: Her parents (and grandparents) will be important role-models for Hatoko throughout her youth, and she'll likely grow up to be quite fond of children, much like Sho. When cousins are eventually born, she'll quite happily step into the role of babysitter. I mean, how often do you get to hitch free rides on a goddess's back as a kit?

Name of bowl: Hestia (comes from greek goddess of hearth and home) Domain: Goddess of Serenity
Personality: She is just as her domain says, serene. She is a quiet old soul even as a kid and tends to hang out more with the adults than her siblings. She is always calm, happy, and watching. Nothing bothers her and she believes highly in the motto of "What is, is." She is a stable rock for her sisters and the rest of her family.
Her power is the ability to calm others down and put them in a state of serenity. She exudes an aura of peace and, at will, she can project her aura and calm feelings onto another being.

Hestia sat Idly, thinking about her domain and how it had come to pass. She figured she had always known of it, that was an intrinsic feeling from within her soul, but she was thankful for her domain.
It came in handy to to be able to make people happier. To create an air of relaxed emotional states. They had figured it out when she was small. Everyone around her was always peaceful, regardless of troubles or woes in their life. To her, it was nothing short of normal.
Her domain realization was not a sudden discovery, nor did it affect her life in any way, really. The only difference she felt was that now she knew for certain that she could make people happier. She could do good things for a stressed, unhappy world. She could make them feel what she felt, peace and serenity.
Hestia sighed contently and laid her head down for a nap. Yep. Being the goddess of serenity was truly a blessed experience.
Future plots: I want her to find a mate that's opposite of her. Someone that she can calm down and love without restraint. And of course, Family RP! I want her to be a charitable goddess that assists other noodles and tries to do good things with her powers.
Anything you want to add on how she relates to her family?: She intrinsically understands her family's situation and loves them very deeply. In her eyes, her family handles their situation as well as they possibly can. She admires her mother and father's strength.
Personality: She is a sweet little ball of energy who bounces from one thing to the next. The only time her attention can be kept on focus is when there is a story involved. She LOVES stories of any and all kinds. Ballads, Epic Poetry, short stories, she loves them all. Her favorites, however, are ones that have the scent of Fate itself coming off of them. She is instinctively attracted to those who will do great things and, in turn, have great stories attached to them. She will have an obsession with these stories and look to obtain them all.

Ylene has always known. Though she hasn't always known what it meant. It has always been instinct for her to find the legends being born. Always been second nature to sense the greatness in others. In those who are meant to change the flow of history.
She knew that her domain was Folktales when she needed to know the stories. When she needed to find them and store them. They were important to her. Finding out that her domain was called Folktales took some time and some research. The key element of her domain was the fact that the stories that had an importance in history, or in tales of how history happened. That is how she eventually figured out that they were called Folktales. Those being the main focus of her obsession is what gave her domain it's name. However, she also enjoys herself any story with heroes and world changing consequences.
The only change that came about when she finally learned what the name of her domain was was the inner peace of finally knowing. The fact that now her true mission of collecting the stories could finally begin! She would be sure to live out her mission. To find all of the heroes the world could muster into existence and all the true Legends being born day by day.
Future plots: Plenty of RP with every piece of her family. She will discover her ability to sense greatness in someone early on in life. Often wandering away to try and figure out where it's coming from. Though she won't make it very far until much later in life. As she grows, she will create her own library of tales and the history of the world itself through these tales. She will even allow others to view these recordings for a price. In her quest to collect all tales, she will also barter with others to gain their stories.
Anything you want to add on how she relates to her family?: Though her love for her family will never die, she will spend a lot of time traveling. Her bonds with them will never break, no matter how far she travels, she will always come home. She will visit and stay with them till her next story pulls her back.

XD Sorry I missed this question before you already managed! But yes, you do indeed go into the main thread, quote the mule and the image of your sparkling bowl, and sneeze on it. Some colorists prefer you quote their main accounts, but they usually leave a note if that's the case.
