Bio: Lock was raised in South Korea by his father, a music producer, and his mother, a lead dancer in a female Korean pop group. Seeing his potential at an early age, his parents shipped him off to learn how to dance, sing, and be a star. By the time he was 16, his competitive spirit had gotten him signed. Lock trained for another year and, not long after his seventeenth birthday, was asked to front a Korean pop boy group called "BLackJACk". 8 months after they started to work together, the group was launched to the top with their first single, "Deal the Cards". Sharing the spotlight with his fellow members is quite easy, and they all get along rather well. However, Lock quickly grew bored of simply being a star. So, with the help of a good friend, he was given a key that would open any door to anywhere, and, after being accepted into Black Rose Academy, started coming to the school, quickly integrating himself into the student scene. But crimes started to spring up. Thinking quickly, he developed a new persona, a Mr. Lock Han, who solved crimes and looked a lot like Korean superstar Han Sang-Min.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and Lock was soon found out. Despite this, he easily welcomed the fame of a superstar and an amateur, but brilliant detective, as well as the love of his innocent, but very addictive roommate, Ethan Wilhelm.

Personality: Haneul is incredibly cold whenever he's in his pop-star state, although it's all to mask that he's just socially awkward. Strangely enough, he's a bit of a ladies man and takes pride in how many girls he's gotten to fall in love with him. All in all, though, he cares very deeply for the few friends he has and is willing to sacrifice anything to keep them happy, especially his best friend, Eun-Ho, who needs his protection more than anyone else alive.
Bio: He was born in Shipporo, Hokkaido, Japan to Korean parents, a female chef and a male novelist. The two, who had fallen in love and married in Japan, soon decided to return to South Korea after Haneul's birth. After moving back, Haneul grew to realize that he shouldn't say he wasn't a natural Korean, as he was mocked for it. His twin sisters, who are both in high school still, were born in Korea and were not subjected to the ridicule that he was.
Haneul met Eun-Ho while in their academy, just a year above him but still easily adopted by his hubae as a good friend and was unable to shake him. Now, they are the very best of friends and are almost too comfortable in beating each other up.

Personality: Eun-Ho is stupid, as I've said before, and is mostly aware of it. Other than that, he's a pretty decent person, accepting of most everyone he meets and trusting of anyone he deems worthy (which is basically everyone). He's very good with kids, considering they share the same mentality, and hates to make anyone upset. He's just a decent guy, really.
Bio: There's really not much to say about Eun-Ho's past. He grew up pretty normal. His family belonged to the lower-middle class, and being that they were a large family, even by the time Eun-Ho had been born, there wasn't a lot of money to go around. Seeing this, the blonde decided to do something with his life that would better their situation. As luck would have it, although he wasn't smart, he was a gifted dancer and singer, and grew to be tall and pretty. The teen wriggled his way into an academy that was dedicated to making stars, quickly catching the eye of Ellery Advimi, a young man just a few years older than him.
Ellery, who was a songwriter, recorded the blonde's talents and sent them ahead to his company, who immediately threw him into a pop group called BLAckJAck. In the group was another blonde named Lock, who he immediately became pals with, a moody guy with black hair named Bae, Ellery, the tiny songwriter from before, and Haneul, a brunette that he'd become close friends with at the academy. It didn't take long until their pop group became an international sensation, and now he sends all of his money home to his family, who live in a much better house and even have college funds. All he wants is to keep things this way, and to provide for his family until they no longer need him, although they'll never be able to convince him that they don't need him.

Personality: Ellery was once a sweet, lively young man, as charming as a prince and happy as he ever thought he could be. His world revolved around his brother and his best friend, and everything was perfect. After his step-mother, father, and step-sister were killed and his brother went missing, however, Ellery lost his kindness and sweetness, turning cold and slightly cruel. He cared little for other's feelings, and pointed out the fault in every person. Upon adopting his son, however, he has changed once more. The ever-elegant Ellery became more attentive, more loving, and even motherly.
Bio: Ellery was born in a small town somewhere in Oklahoma. When he was two, his mother died, leaving his father a widower. But luckily, all that was changed very soon. When Ellery was five, his father remarried, and Ellery quickly loved his step-mother and step-sister. Before long, a baby was brought into the family, a child named Basil that little Ellery immediately decided to watch over. For years, Ellery protected his brother. Even during a small bout of time when he almost died, his last thoughts were of his Basil.
However, he quickly found his time divided between two people: Basil and a younger boy named Sang-Min, who he quickly adopted as a best friend.
Love for Sang-Min grew from friend-love to romantic-love, and although it wasn't returned, Ellery refused to let it die. However, it was tested when he was seventeen and the worst tragedy of his life occurred. His step-mother, step-sister, and father were all killed in what appeared to be an attempted kidnapping of the youngest child, the twelve-year old Basil. The child ran off into the woods behind the house, desperate for escape, only to find himself remarkably lost. Ellery never saw him again. He spent the next years searching for his brother, at first backed by many police officers and even his best friend, but soon enough, was forced to give up the search to to little funding. His personality changed dramatically from the loss of his precious family, Ellery allowed himself to fall into songwriting, a job that landed him a spot as a songwriter for his best friend's boy band pop group, BLAckJAck. Soon enough, Ellery himself had a spot in the group, earning the title of "The Baby" or "The Sweet, Cute One", despite being the oldest. However, he remained unhappy. Now, he has adopted a small child, saving him from being tortured by his monstrous family, alongside the detective that he'd always hated, and is finding himself falling into a deep vortex full of love, both romantic and non, and the desire to feel complete once more.

Personality: Bae is very quiet, often fading into the background when surrounded by the other members of the band. Despite being extraordinarily tall, he's a frequent wallflower, and tends to only speak up when asked to. He isn't shy, finding no trouble with making friends and performing, but simply doesn't like to talk. Instead of being like Lock and Eun-Ho, he dedicates his time to protecting his private life and is rarely at the middle of a scandal. Because of this, he is praised by the one he loves most, the manager and cute member of the band, Ellery, who he's loved for years.
Bio: Born the second son to the heads of a flower-arranging school in rural South Korea, Tae-joon looked up to his elder brother, a charismatic and handsome young man who married and took over the school by the time Tae-Joon was twelve. Puberty had been very kind to his elder brother, although it was cruel to the young preteen who was short, fat and unattractive. He was frequently and relentlessly teased by his peers, and although he was constantly reassured that he would grow more handsome with age, the boy remained short, fat and unattractive, his teeth yellowed and crooked, skin blotchy and moles freckled his face, hair greasy, and nose wide and nearly always broken. Add to that his sexuality and he was unpopular until the day he finished his next-to-last year. It didn't matter that he sang beautifully, his voice rich and deep, or that he could dance with a sort of grace that was uncommon for a male his size.
When Tae-Joon was seventeen, he finally managed to convince his parents to pay for plastic surgery. It took months of recovery and a tight fitness regime, but by the time he graduated high school, Tae-Joon was handsome for the first time in his life. During his recovery, his growth spurt finally hit, and the young man grew from 5'5" to 6'8" until finally stopping at the age of twenty-one. He had finally become the man he always wanted to be: desired. However, it wasn't enough. He had to have more than just the lustful gazes of the town he lived in. So, at the age of nineteen, Tae-joon packed his things and headed for Seoul, his coal black eyes set on a positive future for himself.
Unfortunately, he ran into a bit of a mishap, soon losing all his money and stuck ont he streets of the big city. Luckily, just after a week of homelessness and on the brink of going home, Tae-Joon was met by an angel of mercy, a beautiful young songwriter whose heart was melted by the sight of the young man. He took him in, cleaned him up, and soon discovered that Tae-joon was a gifted singer, as well as dancer. The slightly-older man, who introduced himself as Ellery, refined the male's talents for a year before introducing him to a producer and recommending him for the new band. They renamed him Bae, meaning inspiration in Korean, since there already was a well-known actor named Tae-Joon Young, and the twenty-year old loved his new name so much that he applied to have it officially changed to it. After meeting the other members of the band, Bae instantly became like family, and when Ellery joined the group and they made it big, Bae finally reached the level of importance that he'd always searched for. He was wanted, loved, and no one dared to mock him. It was a hollow victory, however, when Bae finally realized that he was in love with the man who had saved him, Ellery. But by the time he worked up the courage to say something, it was made evidently clear that Ellery would never love Bae back.
Forced to seek comfort in someone else's arms, Bae still remains by Ellery's side, protecting him from all that he can, and making sure that his secret love isn't brought out, so as to spare the awkward loss of friendship between them two.
