Rogue Dragon's Gallery

At some point I will do more about this, but for now you'll just have to wait.

1)Each Artist should make a Gallery thread and use it instead of making countless threads over time for their art, unless they don't lan on posting much art.
2)I am more of a writer than visual artist by talent, but try harder at visual art, so there is not likely to be a whole lot of new art in my Gallery.
3)I will use my gallery as a direct and easy way to interact and comunicate with the guild members.

Ya, it's one piece without much of the stuff normally done in here, but I really like doing celtic knotwork.

Gallery Guidelines:

1)If the content is above PG-13, put it as a link. A true artist doesn't require vulgar content to get the audiences attention, but some artists do prefer such content. This is a respect rule.

2)Please update the first page. If you want to keep all your art up in your thread, I suggest posting it in the thread and just putting the new stuff and ones you want crits for on the first page. You can have links to the pages with your art on them.

3)The whole point to the gallery idea is to cut down on threads in the guild. Having a new thread for each new piece of art makes it pointless to try to keep the forum clean of old threads. One thread per artist instead of one thread per piece of art.

4)Identify it as your gallery. If your gallery is complete, and I can clean your old art threads from the guild, I'd like to know. The best way is to post in my Gallery.

A side note, the gallery system makes it easy to say something to an artist without worry of cluttering thier inbox. If you request, I can see about deleting unwanted posts in your gallery.

it's a really nice piece... and I can see the Celtic knotwork 'influence' though it doesn't look at all like traditional knotwork, there are sharper corners, and well, it's basically round, whereas most knotwork is square...

Very nice... keep it up smile I'd like to see more stuff like this biggrin

Thanks, though Celtic knotwork has several traditional styles. If you would like, I can give some details about it. I wouldn't say I know all there is to know about it, but I do know more than the average person on this subject. It's really quite fascinating how much a part of tradition and culture it was.
