aphexinflux i just joined too YAY! my newest piece: ^o^ That's pretty awesome. I'd love to try painting, but I'm completely broke and can't afford paint - it's so expensive, particularly in Hawaii.

Well, I'm new so I wanted to check out what was here. I'm in college as an art ed major. I'm not sure what else to say so I'm just going to post on of my favorite pieces. It's a copy I made of Murillo's "Beggar Boy"

You know Zakarias, I never thought that paint would be more expensive in Hawaii, it makes a lot of sense once I think about it...
That sucks!
Just start collecting slowly... all you really needs is red, blue, yellow, black, and white. With that you can make anything.
And shave your best friend's head for paintbrush bristles. Yeah, and uh... steal people's bedsheets to paint on! mrgreen Tell them the dolphins told you to do it!

I've actually been teaching for 21 years already and IT IS THE BEST JOB EVER!!!!! I love coming here and checking out all the amazing art work. I want to be erally good at painting, and I'm going to try to go into a college that has a good art program when I'm out of high school.
