Your son or daughter has been accepted into the Lafayette Academy for Gifted Youngsters, located in the wilderness of Alaska. We have taken the time to write you a letter, so you may inform your son or daughter what to expect when entering the University grounds.

As you would know, Lafeyette is an Academy for those who are not quite human in nature. Upon entering Lafeyette, your child will be sorted into the appropriate House that suits their race. Special classes will be taught to them by the finest teachers that could be found on this Earth.

Classes run from 8am to 5pm; students are required to be awake by 6:30am and asleep by 8:30pm. School bells sound differently for different times; the bells that sound like a gong sounding are the wake-up bells and the bed-time bells. Students are not allowed on the campus grounds after 8pm, but can use the computers in the Student Common room if late-night studying is required. Study Sessions take place after Freetime, and are vital to all students, regardless if they have caught up on all current assignments. Study Sessions are also available to students on weekends, when no official classes run. If students require extra help, they must negotiate with a teacher and the principal before hand.

The staff welcome your students to the University and will treat your child with kindness and respect. Your child is required to act responsibly, any out-of-line behavior may result in being expelled from the school. We have attached several documents for you and your child to look over, containing information about classes and times, dormitories, and the rules of the University that your child must follow at all times.

✘ Although this is a non-human school RP, there is no set rules for what kind of species you can come up with. If you want a zombie character, then you go right on ahead and make one! I'll sort them out into what House they need to be in later.

✘ This isn't a violent RP, although there are times when violence is acceptable. Please keep in mind the nature of the story, so don't go overboard. Also, keep cursing to a minimum please and no cybering within the thread. Take that elsewhere thanks.

✘ While there is no set limit for the amount of characters you can make, I recommend only using one or two. Otherwise you will be confused with the amount of characters you have. If you make seven and use three, the others will be removed.

✘ This isn't a walk-in, so fill in the profiles correctly and send them in to me with the title Lafeyette. You can also PM our Vice President, VSG12, should you be unable to reach me after a day or two.

The school is broken down into different Houses that each student will belong to. Depending on their race, they will fall into one of four Houses; Winter, Summer, Spring, or Autumn. Each House has a different uniform and each has four classes only they can take. All Houses come together during their 5th class of the day to partake in Blending Into Society which is taught by the Principal himself.

Winter Solstice House
Blue Uniform

Those in this class are Vampires, either full-blood or half-blood (those turned). They reside in the West Dormitories, where the building is built into the mountain, offering no light to enter in. The Head Boy for this House is ▀▄▀▄ & the head girl is named ▀▄▀▄. The classes only they can take are: Vampirian History, Familiarising, Blood Types (Blood Lust), and Transformations/Summoning. The uniforms are in shades of blue to represent the long periods of night during winter months. Their classes are taught by Daemon. He is a Dragon, but has been able to master all Vampirian abilities, thus becoming the teacher for the Vampire students. He is an all-black dragon, with similar abilities to Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon. He had been trapped in stone for many centuries, trapped by a Romanian priest, and was freed when his statue was destroyed in World War II. He has since stayed at the school to teach, mainly because most dragons are dead or in hiding.

Summer Solstice House
Red Uniform

Those in this class are Demons, which branches into many sub-species, including Succubus and Incubus. They reside in the South Dormitories, shaded by the nearby forest. The Head Boy for this House is ▀▄▀▄ & the head girl is ▀▄▀▄. The classes only they can take are: Demonology, Possession, Transformations, and Demonic Summons. The uniforms are in shades of red to represent the long periods of sun during summer months. Their classes are taught by Sterben. He is is a pure-blood Demon from Hell, who used to be the Guardian of the 5th Gate. He is a Fire Demon, to be exact, so his fire powers are his strongest, though he can control almost all the elements. He also has Nightmare Manipulation and several Psychic abilities. His demon form is a black cat with blue markings; though he is small and looks innocent, he can kill you instantly. He usually sticks to a humanistic form.

Spring Equinox House
Light Green Uniform

Those in this class are Werewolves, or anything of a similar species. They reside in the North Dormitories, which is a basic building with much harder concrete so they don't damage the building to an extreme extent. The Head Boy for this House is ▀▄▀▄ & the head girl is ▀▄▀▄. The classes only they can take are: Lycanology, Tracking Skills, Hunting Skills, and Animal Telepathy. Their uniforms are in shades of green and beige to represent their connection to their animal side and nature. Their classes are taught by Hunter. He is a Wolf Demon, and hails from the wilderness of Russia. He is able to communicate with his students via an enchanted necklace around his neck. The gem on his forehead is a symbol of his demonic heritage, not an enchanted item. He can grow in size or shrink, and has wind abilities at his command. He is a more gentle and understanding teacher amongst the demons (Sterben and Daemon).

Autumn Equinox House
Uniform

Those in this class are those who possess magical abilities; namely witches. However, this class also includes Poltergeists, Fallen Angels, and similar species. They reside in the South Dormitories, which are like normal dormitories, unlike the other classes. The Head Boy for this House is ▀▄▀▄ & the head girl is ▀▄▀▄ Juniper Spectre. The classes only they can take are: Charms/Chants/Alchemy, Necromancy, Ghosting (for Poltergeists only), Black Magic, and Potions/Spells/Transfigurations. Their uniforms are in shades of black, white and grey to represent neutrality in life. Their classes are taught by Sir. He is a wizard from France, and has never given his name to any student or staff-member at La Fayette's. He is part of the Black Circle, a council of the strongest Wizards or Witches or Warlocks in all the world. As he is a teacher for those with abilities, he is looking for potential Apprentices of the Black Circle. He is also somehow related to Lucifer Spell, leader of the Dark Circle, though it is never revealed how.

All students are required to take the four species-only classes belonging to their House, in the order of which they appear, followed by Blending Into Society (taught by the Principal himself). The five remaining classes on each students schedule can be selected from the following classes:

She was born an orphan and died an orphan. Where she was born, how she died, and what she did when she was alive are things she will never know. Juniper is a Poltergeist, and the only one of her kind at the school. She has control over Ghosting, Psychic, and Shadow Manipulation abilities at her control. Her telekinesis is often linked with her emotions. She is quiet, timid, shy, and keeps to herself most of the time. She has many friends but doesn't spend a lot of time with them. She loves to write stories and wants to be an author. Since she has an eternal life, it seems like a good idea to use pen names. She had a past relationship with a demon named Timoti 'de Musto, years 8 to 9, but they broke up. Things have been tense between the two “friends” ever since. She never really recovered from it. She tries to be civil and friendly, but he ignores her existence when not around her yet acts super friendly when near her. Her patience wears thin, and when it does, she acts violently.

Wolfgang is a rather laid-back Werewolf, and a pure blood, who tends to spend his free-time playing sports. He likes his Soccer class the most, but does also like his Basketball class. He is a very fast and strong werewolf amongst his class-mates. He was, in fact, named after Wolfgang Adiemus Mozart, not just because the name had “Wolf” in it. He is friends to most of the students, especially those in the Autumn Equinox class. He almost always wears his pacman-beanie at all times, regardless of the situation. He wants to be a professional athlete at some time, and because he is a werewolf, it's an easy dream. All he needs to worry about his his lycan transformations on full moons. The urge to transform can be suppressed, but not easily.
