So I guess copying is a form of flattery right? I posted a topic awhile back about this:
And now with the Easter event I noticed another resemblance to something else:
Bunny Rangers -
Ham Rangers - (Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak)
So they changed the hamsters to bunnies and added a space theme. But they are still rangers.
Now I'm not saying this makes me mad or anything, I just find it funny. I wonder if this whole thing was subconscious, like someone had played the video game HamHam Heartbreak and the Ham Rangers were planted in their brain. Or I wonder if they purposely copied hoping nobody would notice. Or maybe it's a tribute. I think a lot. xD
Some things around Gaia are obvious tributes, like the 16 bit heroes being from Zelda or Friendly Neighborhood being Animal Crossing. And of course there are sponsored items like House Bunny. But are there any less obvious items you have come across that seem to take inspiration from anything?
If I see any others like these two I'll post them here.

I've always collected ranger items because I have a stupid fascination with them. This makes me so happy~ I hope all the furs get super cheap and affordable.
I've seen, uhm, more obvious items that I'm not sure were lawyer-approved. Little tribute items are always fun, though!

That's what I'm thinking. Even if it's just not wanting something else to be mad about around here. xD
I am quite impressed with the promises they are making, and they have done a lot lately.. like just in a short time. We had the new inventory arranger, booty grab payout increases, inventory worth.. things are looking up. :3

They got cheap enough that I got tired of waiting for them. xD But if I could have held out till the last day I probably could have saved a lot. But, this is also my last night with a PC. So I guess it couldn't be helped.

The phone app doesn't really work on mine. It isn't placed correctly so stuff is cut off, and even then it's funky and doesn't like to load things. I tried it when my modem died and... yeah. But at least there are PMs. Write me letters, friend!!

The app works for me besides the fact it force closes sometimes and I have to put in extra effort on capital letters. xD
But my phone can actually open regular Gaia too. I'm not sure how well it works cause I haven't played around on it too much.
Pm's should should be very do-able while I'm gone. 3nodding
They've created loads of items in tribute to the popularity or cuteness of other things. Like the items that help people create Naruto-looking avatars, and DBZ-looking avis. They know what they're doing.

ayy yeah i know what you mean!! it's real nice tbh! i think the first step was gaia opening up AtS, which was how they started better communication with us. bc let's be real... i don't think Staff Feedback became very useful after a while.
