Arc stared at the sack of flour that had appeared on their doorstep that morning. His mother had opened the door to let in more sunshine and fresh air and there it was. Thinking she was funny, she plopped it next to him on his bed to wake him up. And then told him congratulations. It kinda looked like him, she said. He didn't see the resemblance, but then again his mom was pretty weird. So now, again because his mom was weird, he had to take care of this sack of flour like it was a child. Why, he had no real idea. As shy as he was, there was no way he'd ever meet someone he liked enough to even ask out, let alone have kids with! Though, he was getting a little better. He'd even made a friend at that party his parents had dragged him and his sister to.
The weirdest thing about this was his mom had insisted he give the sack of flour a name. He studied it, mostly purple with some kind of vines or flowers on it. What could he name it..... And then it came to him. "Hyacinth." He smiled widely then, pleased with his choice.

Lyneeson was off to his best friend's house to hang out and plot and talk about chicks and stuff. Though he'd mostly be doing the talking, Arc was kinda shy sometimes. But he also had a really hot sister and Lyn would be lying to himself if he pretended he also didn't hope to get to say hi to Laz. Just to say hi of course, he really was there to spend 90% of the time with Arc. He was a cool dude. They had much plotting to do after all.
He wasted no time sprinting down the sidewalks and up to the door, knocking loudly. When their mom opened the door he beamed at her and offered her his best but quickest greeting. "Hi Misses Arc and Laz's mom, lovely to see you today!" he called before darting past her and up to Arc's room where he knocked twice then entered of his own accord.
"Hey Bro, what's hangin'? Hey, wheres your sist.... is that a sack of flour?"

The shy shetani didn't have many friends, but somehow he'd become best friends with a rather outspoken demon. He suspected it had something to do with his sister, Laz, but Lyneeson was fun to be around. He always knew when the other teen came over, because he could hear him speak to his mother and then he was peeking in Arc's room. "Hey," he said and smiled, snorting a little when he asked about Laz. "I think she's out with dad. And yes, this is a sack of flour. It showed up on our doorstep this morning so now it's my job to treat it like it's actually a baby." He rolled his eyes at his friend. Around most people, Arc was painfully quiet and had a stutter that sometimes made it hard to understand the poor teen. Thankfully, when he did go out, it was with Lazuryt who didn't mind translating for her brother. He was pretty sure Lyn wouldn't mind translating for him either, but a lot of the time they were plotting and talking about girls. Well, Lyn was talking, Arc was mostly trying to keep up.
"Mom even made me name it," he said and pouted. Lyn was one of the few pae that Arc felt comfortable enough with that his stutter disappeared. The only other people he was like that with were his family. Though, really, the feline demon bonded to his mother had always scared him despite him knowing that Ruri would never actually hurt him. Mostly because he was sure his mom would kill him. Firuzeh could be scary when she wanted to be.

The teens normally one tract mind was completely blown. Even the fact that Arc had answered a question that hadn't fully been formed seemed to float right over Lyneeson's head.
His eyes were fixated solely on the sack of flour. "Dude... it even looks like you..." was all he could say after the explanation he had been given. He wasn't quite sure he was even in reality right now, so much so Lyn walked over to timidly poke the sack of flour....and was secretly glad it didn't giggle in return. "Who would leave a sack of flour on your door step that looks kind of like you?" he blinked, still skirting around the biggest question he had wanted to ask.
Except that it kept nagging at him and the more he tried not to ask the quicker he seemed to just blurt it out. "You seriously have to raise it like a baby?" he snorted at first.....then broke into a laugh. Hands clenching his stomach as his head tossed back a bit. "What did you name it? Sacky?!" he gigglesnorted again before taking a deep breath to calm himself. Hand reaching up to wipe some tears from his eyes. He didn't mean to upset Arc in anyway but this was just too hilarious.
"Sorry man sorry. It's weird though you gotta admit..." he stared, transfixed at the sack of flour baby.
Maybe some chick had a weird crush on Arc and this was how they showed it?
Why didn't he have one?
Lame!!

Arc snorted. "Right? It's so weird. And Laz didn't get one! Just me..." He pouted a little, crossing his arms over his chest. He laughed a little when Lyn poked the bag of flour like he thought it might jump up and bite him. "It's just a bag of flour, Lyn," he said with a slight teasing tone to his voice.
At his friend's next question, he sighed and flopped back on his bed. "Ugh. Yes. My mother is crazy sometimes." Rolling his eyes at Lyn, he gave a look. "Sacky? Seriously? You're insane." Though, really, he wasn't that crazy compared to his own family. Or, really, whoever left this sick of flour on his doorstep. He blushed a little, pouting again. "It's got flowers on it, purple ones. So I called it Hyacinth."
He sat up again, flushing a little at his friend pretty much laughing at him, but at least he apologized. "It is weird. Really weird. I wonder where it came from."
