User ImagePallas was granted a lot of freedoms, even as a young child. After all he was a citizen of wonderland and a pureblooded vampire on top of that so other than his dad there wasn’t much out there that could seriously harm him provided he didn’t do anything particularly stupid to wipeout his near invulnerability. However even if the game had wiped out pretty much all of his non vampire DNA before he was born, he still had a lot of cat like tendencies, and his greatest one was a sense of curiosity.

Kaname wasn’t an unreasonable father, and he tried to teach his children all of his beliefs. Don’t let your power get to your head. Conduct yourself in a manner that you won’t be ashamed of. He stressed that one, although living in such a homicidal world such as wonderland Pallas figured that probably didn’t stick as well as Kaname wanted. Do not use your powers to take blood unwillingly from others, and especially towards Pallas: Don’t bite any one that isn’t a non-vampire. Kaname had stressed and told him with horrifying detail what Pallas’s bite could do. Of course just in case there was ever a reason that Pallas bit a non-vampire and they ended up changing, Kaname sure Pallas knew how to stabilize them, and drilled it into his head that you did not leave them to fall no matter how you felt about them.

Then there was the final rule, because of who Calico used to be before she was changed Pallas was able to travel anywhere he wanted, and this included different dimensions. All he had to do was link up two doors. Since he was the one the game corrupted to pureblood status as a safeguard against his sister everyone was sure that that he wouldn’t have inherited that magic, so he hid the ability for as long as he could. When Kaname inevitably found out, at first he was just banned to only traveling around wonderland, Then only to certain dimensions where vampires didn’t exist. This ban was then eventually lifted when Pallas finally grew into an adult. However still there was one dimension that Kaname forbid Pallas to visit to.

Which of course lead straight back to the cat tendencies, and Pallas after swearing one of his cousins to secrecy was now standing in that particular dimension. He couldn’t understand the feeling he had, but he knew this had to be the dimension that his father was originally from. He had gotten random stories whenever Kaname was in a reflective mood and had heard about his father’s friends and some of his rivalries.

“Should better start exploring then, find out what is so bad about this world that I’m apparently banned from it” Pallas muttered underneath his breath. Of course the world was more technologically advanced than wonderland but of course so was the world that Mercury was currently residing in. Well just standing there wasn’t going to answer anything for him, and he wanted to learn more about his father and where he came from.

Hopefully there wasn’t some horrible enemy Kaname had neglected to tell him about. Pallas looked very much like his father, only difference was Pallas’s hair had more red to it and his eyes where his grandmother’s shade of blue.
