The Courtyard

Whether you are here to enjoy the garden or train in the designated training area located on the opposite end, the courtyard has something for everybody.

The garden itself is a small and modest area with plenty of shady trees and benches for relaxing at as well as a small pool of water for Water types to splash about in!

The training area has soft, but sturdy earth for sparring matches and practice dummies for testing ones skill and aim. It is also located in a specially made psychic ring that keeps attacks and debris from flying about and causing those outside the training area harm!

This entire location is just next to the main hall, located through a set of twin doors and is well protected within the guild.

Ivy

Her name was always something of a oddity to others. Ivy wasn't exactly a name you'd associate with a Glaceon, but she had loved it from the moment she had known it was hers. While it didn't match her, with possible the exception of her eyes, it suited her fine. She liked it, it had a nice ring to it and a soulful meaning. While she didn't remember much of her mother, the Umbreon having died while she was still young, she had heard stories and the like that shined a very realistic light on her.
Selena had made mistakes through her life, yet she'd sought to mend them. She had died assisting the very brother she claimed to despise, uncle Solaris.
Ivy traipsed calmly into the courtyard with a smile, ears folded back as the sun blinded her temporarily.
It was a nice day to reminisce, but an even nicer one to go make flower crowns and pass them out to anyone who happened to catch her fancy.
Taking a seat in the grass her paws lightly began to pluck stems and petals, frosting them over as she worked so they remained fresher for longer.

It'd been a long few days since he showed face, but it wasn't exactly an uncommon occurrence. It was known widely the Flareon was more... hands on, in his approach to matters, but he hardly seemed to pay mind to the travel and repetition involved, depending on the circumstances at hand of course. It was an active field of work, but it got word out there regarding guild activity and they were better off stepping into serious affairs sooner rather than later.
Sure there were plenty of independent organizations popping up and such, but the guild system would always be the parent overseer. It's just how it always was. It was order.

"Well hey, pretty lady, you haven't aged a day~" His words rang from the Courtyard doorway as he came wandering in, ever without a care in the world. He was a bit intimidating at first glance; in spite of standing at average Flareon height, he seemed strangely larger and his fur was naturally raggedy in texture. If it weren't for his history, his general age would have been impossible to guess between his charismatic personality and his dark, furred body hiding all imperfections his skin may be beginning to show.
"Heard I missed the event, sorry about that. Thanks for covering, though." Ver bobbed his forehead against the Glaceon's before plopping down beside her, laying out on the soft grass as his lone, green eye idly watched her at work.

"You know you have to interact eventually." The Glaceon said with a smile, placing one of her finished flower crowns atop his head once he had settled down next to her.
"You're forgiven this time since only Veilmys and Claudius even particularly cared to stick around the whole time. Serrin left immediately and Barcel wasn't far behind."
The entire thing had been such a bore she was tempted once or twice to leave as well but Ivy wasn't the type to do something that might be considered rude.
Her slim paws lifted to place a flower crown atop her own head as well and entwine her tail with his.
"How did it go though? From what the report said that place was nothing but bad news..."

The Fire type looked momentarily offended by her statement as the crown fit comfortably around his ears. "You think I avoid them? Now why would I do that..." He did enjoy socializing... but new recruits were almost always kids. Seemed to be a running fad. He probably wasn't the first to wonder why guild recruitment didn't have a young adult minimum age limit... given how these events unfolded years back, but, they turned out fine. Sort of. "That boring though, eh?" he added as his tail secured itself around her own.

Then came the inevitable question. Ver frowned at first. What a mess that had unfolded right under their noses. One could wonder how many other societies worked similarly undercover. He couldn't say if it was a norm that'd grasped the land over the last quarter-century. Not unless he checked out the surrounding areas doorstep by doorstep, but that was an effort he didn't have in him. Not that he was lazy, but he simply wasn't that steel willed. It was overwhelming. "So how'd you learn to make these things anyway?" was his response in the end.
