Unfortunately, Diana's house was empty. She sighed before opening it and closing. Then puts away the food. Quickly, she gets dressed in more comfortable clothes then got to cooking up some sloppy joes as demanded by the menu board her father and brother put up saying what they wanted for each day's dinner.

Meanwhile, Jik had made himself a few sandwiches of ham, pepperoni, salami and cheese; his species tended more toward carnivorism than anything else, as proved by his tearing into the food like it was his last meal.

Diana finished the food just as her brother stormed in excitedly, "Dia! Dia! Did you see the new house on the block?!" He shouted tossing his backpack down and pulled off his shoes. "Yes, Devon. I saw and I kind of met the guy that lives there." She said sourly. "Now did he not act nicely, my dear?" Her father said walking in. "I wouldn't that way." Diana said serving up the sloppy joes.

Meanwhile, Jik soon finished his food and began doing the last of the catching up he needed on his school subjects. Admittedly, this was mostly limited to history, geography, and other subjects related to Earth and humanity. He'd taken a look at the math, science, and programming and concluded that he was miles ahead of the rest in that - merely more proof that he was a superior life form (at least from his point of view).

Diana cleaned up then went up stairs to over look her homework. Once satisfied with it, she got ready to go to bed. Tomorrow was school and she had to be ready for the stupidity of her classmates, mainly the boys.

(Sorry I took so long to reply... been feeling pretty sluggish lately... sweatdrop ) The next day, Jik got his things together - educational materials and all - and began heading to school, inwardly hoping to learn more about Earth's culture; frankly, he already knew most, if not all, of the scientific subjects back to front.

Diana got up early. She made sure her school things were set before making three lunch boxes. One for each other the family members. Once done, Diana walked to her bike put in her bag and lunch box in the basket before getting on. The girl easily rode her bike to school breezing past the other students walking or others on their bikes. She noticed the weird boy from yesterday. Diana drove right past him too.

Jik blinked mildly as the human female passed by, recognizing her, but otherwise made no comment as he kept heading to school. Eventually, he judged himself away from curious eyes, disappearing and reappearing in an empty back alley close to the school before heading in.

Diana got to school and parked her bike at the bike rake. She got off then started to chain it. Though as she was doing that she noticed the weird boy walking in soon after. Diana paused knowing she had left him a couple blocks back which he should still be walking.

Jik did notice the female, but pretended not to, hoping she'd pass it off as him knowing a good shortcut or something as he headed to class; after all, he didn't need anyone getting suspicious of him this early on.

There was no chance for Diana to forget so easily but she let go for now. She finished chaining her bike then went in to the school. The cool headed girl walked over to her locker and puts in her lunch box while taking out textbooks for class. The girl walked to her first period class, History.

Of course, as luck would have it Jik's first class was History as well. Fortunately, he'd studied, so he was up-to-date with the rest of the class... for the most part, anyway. That aside, he was quite surprised to find that his first class was with the girl he'd been encountering so many times, not that he let it show on his face.
