As much as he does enjoy witnessing the lives of humans, its rather difficult to get close with a reputation like his. And when he does get close, he tends to feel disgusted by the less-than genuine humans running about. He has little patience for the greedy and the dishonest, and quickly grows agitated when he senses/sees this in a person. When he comes across a genuinely kind person, he reveals his warmer, gentler side. Safe to say, he has a strong sense of justice to uphold, and regrettably has resorted to violence when one's actions are deemed 'unforgivable'. Otherwise, Yotarugi is a rather mischievous youkai who enjoys hiding himself in the nightly delights of human life; depending on how much he drinks, he can get pretty. . .dramatic. He has a relatively soft spot for children.
㊬Bio↔ Not much is known about Yotarugi himself seeing as he's so difficult to come across, however it seems his past deeds of good fortune have made his title of 'Lucky Cat' well-known throughout the regions. Unfortunately, many of these deeds ring as a painful reminder in his ear for the payment his blessings require, though the result usually makes the sacrifice worthy. Usually.
Just as he is known for his amazing abilities, he is also known to be a vengeful man of his word that brings bad luck to those who break their pact with him. Whether by karma or by his own hand. Nowadays, he simply wanders around the regions as word of war is whispered throughout the villages.

2↔ Padded Foot: Triples speed and nimbleness used moreso for escape and stealth, but proves to be useful in short bursts during battle.
3↔ Twin Paw Barrier: He raises both arms above him to create a near impenetrable barrier surrounding 2/3 of his radius. (3 posts max)
4↔ 9 Lives: Eight false images of himself appear and barrage the opponent while only the true user sneaks in and attacks with an array of slashes.
5↔ Tainted Heart's Mirage: This ability targets the purity of one's heart to allow the user to place them into a brief trance, with the severity based on the impurities of their hearts. (2-3 posts) These impurities must be proven first before the ability can be used to full effect.
6↔ 苦味 (Nigami): Although it is one of he least liked abilities, Nigami proved to be a very helpful aid when a quick fix is needed. He can seal deep wounds in order to cease bleeding, heal shallow wounds, and lighten the appearance of scars; however, these healing properties can only be applied by the user licking the wounded area. He has a habit of muttering a disdainful "Nigami.." afterwards, hence the silly name.
