To say that Princess Ruby didn't come along quietly would be an understatement. Not only did she leave the Fire Kingdom kicking and screaming, she yelled at her mother the entire way to the Ice Kingdom and tried to escape several times on their journey there. As their names would suggest, people from the Fire and Ice kingdoms were basically opposites of one another, which is why they didn't get along in the first place. Ruby embodied the general stereotype for people from the Fire Kingdom; stubborn, hot-headed, feisty, reckless, prideful and brash. Why her mother was arranging to have her marry her polar opposite whom she already hated with a passion was beyond her, and she made it known as they arrived to the Ice Kingdom, still literally kicking and screaming as she was brought toward the Ice Kingdom's castle by her mother. "There's absolutely no way I'm marrying him!! I'd rather die than let this happen!! You can't do this to me!! I won't marry him!! I won't, I won't, I won't!!"
