I've developed many strong, meaningful, serious connections with many people on here... There are a good handful of people on this site who have changed my life profoundly, mostly in good ways, occasionally in bad ways, but if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't do anything differently. Although Gaia has not introduced me to the concept and real life applications of love, my years of experience here have certainly added to & complicated my understanding of love. I've had some of the most amazing and craziest times with some of you people... People on Gaia have literally saved my life at times, & I've literally saved the lives of people on Gaia at times. I've experienced true, beautiful friendship through Gaia that were to a degree forged through near-death (Tiffany), I've experienced scary dysfunctional relationships through Gaia (Theo), I've been a total and complete a*****e on Gaia (Kira), I've met people so much younger than me who have inspired me to be so much better than I am (Candice), women who continue to be role models to me & who I'll never stop trying to be like (Rio).... & then there's angel, vashy, LadyKay... ugh, I could go on & on, but it's almost midnight, & I have miles of schoolwork to complete before I sleep.

Long time, no see. Good to see that the original captain hasn't disappeared for good, and that you remembered your password since you were having trouble with that when you left if I remember correctly. You haven't missed much, unless you count Gaia going to hell and everyone leaving not much. rolleyes Vashy is still around at least, so the guild is never captain-less. And me, of course. I'm always here. biggrin

Man, how nostalgic! I didn't think anyone was around any more. Folks move on and everything has to end someday. The time you spent here certainly wasn't a waste though, and I hope wherever life takes you, that you're happy.
Personally, I was never particularly active, and I feel like I'm pretty set for items and gold, so I'll pass on the passin' out of things. I do think it's nice that you know you're not going to be back and are letting everything go.

I pop on once in awhile but not for long. I leave for a few months and everything changed so fast. I tried catching up with most things but wow it's kinda difficult. A lot has changed from when I started 8 years ago.

It's so nice to see you. Here are a few selections from the metaphorical highlight reel, which may pique your interest:
- Our beloved MMO, zOMG!, has crashed and burned because its scrypt may have looked like Swiss cheese. And, since no- one's on staff to fix it up, all of those sweet, little OMGs, feathered coatls, and robofish are no more. All that remains is a mere shadow in Towns 2.
- The cash shop has blown the economy all to hell because of its gold- for- cash exchange.
- Animated items and body mods are all the rage, while the popularity of those teeny- tiny feet continues to baffle me.
Manga Lore:
- (Dam)Ian is/ was(?) a vampire. Yeah, he's been bleaching his hair for years. Louie is his brother and Gino is their half- brother a 'la Rosalie Gambino. Gino is also the last surviving Titan through the untainted bloodline of Johhny K. Gambino and the goddess Gaia has given him the task of eliminating the threat of her youngest son, Nyx.
- Don (Luca) Kuro of the dark elves is the power- hungry pawn, whose greed has gotten himself possessed by Nyx, hence Gaia's concern over her wayward son.
- Liam is a tech- savvy nerd.. who knew?

Also judging by the new announcement, you're not entirely aware of just how bad inflation has gotten. I wouldn't be surprised if your few hundred million worth of items is closer to a trillion gold in worth by now. Also you can now easily get a few million from daily chance alone, although I'm certain everyone appreciates any gift they receive. Also thanks for the gift. biggrin

I started out giving out donations of 100k minimum thinking it was like the equivalent of AT LEAST 500k minimum a few years ago, probably more. Now I'm regularly throwing around 1 mil here, 2.5 mil there, the more I realize how much all my items are worth. It's crazy! I probably gave you a much smaller donation than you deserve, my special monster heart I'll send another one your way! xD

Yeah, your gold reserves aren't as significant now. I can remember finally hitting 10 mil, only to have inflation make it so everything started costing at least 100 mil. At least it's slowed down for now.
Ah, you don't have to do that, not that I won't say no because it's so hard to keep up these days. mrgreen
I also hope everything is still going well outside of Gaia. Having a life must be nice. razz
