Companion items take significantly more time to complete and run into many complexities that aren't apparent at first glance. Because we want to make sure that the requested items are able to be completed in a timely fashion (we're trying our best!) we decided to exclude companion items for any golden ticket. However, we have discussed the concept of a companion-only ticket that would allow you to create a companion, which may be something we'll approach in the future.

Yes, we have plans to expand the marriage system, including other relationship categories and a potential for multiple relationships. It will take more time from a coding standpoint, that is what was meant by the comment.

Sure! We're looking into updating Jigsaw's payout and replacing the art. This feature probably won't have an update until after April, but its something we would like to do.

That being said, we are still waiting to hear back from TekTek about reaching a compromise that is mutual beneficial. This would mean finding a way to keep the site up and accessible for users. We understand that there are users that find features of TekTek, such as the dream avatar creator and account worth calculator, very valuable and useful. As a result, should the worst come to worst and the site get shut down, then we will start exploring the possibilities of creating these features for Gaia Online. Should this happen, we will not be able to deliver an exact replica of them, however, their function will be comparable.

One of the things I noticed was the new little "Pay for another chance" thing on the Monthly CI.
However... When you spend it on there it doesn't count for the tiers.

This is a new feature, and the spending on greater chances didn't go towards tiers because we're still ironing out kinks in it. Hopefully in the next round we will be able to count it. As it is currently, only purhcases made directly from stores with GC add to Tier totals. Sorry about that. sad

Is there any way we can get a Marriage Forum? I think it would be a great idea because Gaians could announce their marriages in it in threads and possibly even hold parties, contests, and people could give gifts to the couples in their threads because of their marriage. It could be a big party forum! Maybe there could be another forum within the marriage forum to look for a marriage partner as well? I think these two forums would be awesome to have!

No, uhm....no that shouldn't be a regular thing. Are you mentioning something in specific? If an EI is removed a few days earlier that is a mistake, or it got un-featured and can be found in La Victoire under the All Items tab.
My Bloody Valentine wasn't in the CS until the evolution announcement, apparently it wasn't there since the night before.
Oh, that's odd! Sorry about that. The 2nd Gen should be in the store for a while, but if you missed your 1st Gen someone in our CS team will happily exchange it for you.

You've recently increased the gold cap but people probably still need a little push to revive the aquarium community. an event would also make new users aware that bootygrab exists.
Also releasing some new fishes would be lovely too, especially fishes that can drop items would be appreciated too

We are adding more Alchemy recipes- in the recent past we had them as level 1 so that all Gaians could use them. In the future we would like to release higher level recipes for rare and exclusive items, however we'd like to be sure that there are ways of actively questing and earning the ingredients that were all but extinct from our economy in the first release of Alchemy.

I'm glad that Gaia has chosen to embrace diversity in its “ships” (Cresolae, Lance/Devin, Rosamund Saga, Hoarfrost, etc). However, I feel like some of our other ships have foundered. For instance: When was the last time we got an update on Sam and Liam? Or the Ian/Gino/Sasha love triangle? Can we have some manga, events, or EIs that focus on some of these pairings?

We probably won't be releasing a fishing gen in GoFusion, because we are in the process of doing a big fix to fishing. This will hopefully bring more users to the Fishing Hole and more fish into the Marketplace. Also, it is currently one of the best ways for Fishing enthusiasts to earn gold.

Gaia is long overdue for a bit of house cleaning. Many of our older games will probably get a facelift or re-invigorated. Some of them are glitched or have very old code, some beyond repair and we will address that as it comes. We're also looking into partnering with more games outside of GaiaOnline and adding new ones that will hopefully be more MMO in nature. We'll be sharing more details once we have working backends and graphics that we can preview.

Yeah we had a Crosstitch update back in January but to be honest we received very few entries to the contest. We'll definitely run more in the future and I hope more people will enter their designs.
I think one thing that hurts the contest is when the theme for it isn't something popular, so less people have ideas that can fit into the theme.
That may be the case but in general every contest we get fewer and fewer entries indicating that maybe they're not that popular ;___; We certainly don't mind running or making the items so it's not the last contest you'll see.

That's an interesting idea. We'll consider it- we're also working on making time-only LQIs so that these limited releases are for a full 24 hour rotation only, but with the same rules/limitations applied.

Yes, we actually have a system in the works that allows moderators to add tags, we're just finalizing implementation to allow changes to be saved to the backend. In order to allow all Gaians to help, we'll probably be creating a Guild. We'll be releasing more information once its done. 3nodding

if you file a hacked report, do they freeze the account until the issue is fixed? because my main account was hacked on 3/4/15 and they were still able to change the avatar's clothes as late as 3/14/15.

if you file a hacked report, do they freeze the account until the issue is fixed? because my main account was hacked on 3/4/15 and they were still able to change the avatar's clothes as late as 3/14/15.
what is the procedure gaia follows? i could not find anything concerning this sort of protocol.
If you have concerns about the account still being in use after being hacked, then you're free to contact any moderator and ask them to freeze the account.

Is there a particular reason why the Stormforge chest hairs don't work on the female base? I would love to use them but I can't. The unslightly body hair item works for females, so why don't these?

Looks like it was a technical issue on 3 of the 4 chest hairs. It's been fixed now!

My question is.. Sass Sea has not been re-released in quite some time. Are there any plans to add that Sea to re-release rigs any time soon? There's no listings in the market, and hasn't been for a very long time. It's the only Sea I actually want and there's no sign of it anywhere.

We'll probably release a bundle with tickets in it, as opposed to a fused ticket. I think that's what you were asking?
I think 400 Lux meant more like last month's RIG where all the items were created from two items.

It's an interesting idea, we might be able to actually pull this off, maybe not a fully-fledged tournament system like fishing, but monthly contests we can run. We'll have to see what we can do!

Is it possible to fix the Earn Gaia Cash with things that doesn't require putting too much personal information in? I like the ones lately that I've been using that are the interacting ads so is it possible to put more up? Or at least make the payout more then 4 GC? Like 8 or something?
Also do they have a limit per day? cause I used those adds this morning but when I went to go do them again later they don't show up.

This is actually out of our control and based on what ads our offer partner has and are willing to provide to our user base. The payout is also controlled by them. We're updating our offer board this month, so this may provide some welcome changes for earning GC.

We don't currently have plans for this as it has potential to turn into an organizational mess. If we decide to recolor the entire set in the future, we now have to be wary of single poses of that set floating around already existing in that color.

When you guys do discounts on CIs why are discounts always on bundles and never on singles too?
I'd be nice especially for the pricier ones ($5-10) to see them discounted as along with the bundles

There have been quite a few items that have been put into rigs but never found, or have been "leaked" in announcement images but have yet to release. I'm talking mainly about the Merry Belle recolor from this RIG that was released around Christmas and this Sunday Stroll recolor that was leaked around Black Friday. There are others, but I wasn't able to find the official images of them.
My question is, what happened to those items and will they ever see the light of day?

Hmm, we'll have to pull them into the light of day. Some items are just plain leaked and intended for specific use in the future, and others are just never dropped for some reason in CIs. We'll get them out there eventually. Sorry for the wait. sweatdrop

Alchemy is about equivalent trade, but as we all know, there are recipes that require a lot of (currently) expensive items, while the alchemised item is worth often less than half of the cost of the ingredients.
Now, since Loyal's Wildcard and Gates of Olympus, there is a surge of items on Gaia that take up space in our inventory (thank you for the Bee March btw - it is so cute!).
Maybe we could get some new recipes with those items (with reasonable amounts needed - or the items soon become extinct again ans the recipes will become useless) with brand new items to alchemise, that will not be available through other means (so that they are worth making).
I am not expecting it right away, but it would be nice, if it would be considered at least.

No we were all aware, and we wanted to do something, however almost all of our staff was infected with the plague and in the end we didn't have the time.
