Kishore was happily strolling through the marketplace on a beautiful sunny day. The weather was warm, and the marketplace was a bustling hub of activity. Just the way he liked it. More Pae usually meant more vendors, and more vendors meant the possibility of more fabric choices! She silver and pink demon absolutely adored fabric of all kinds, and was constantly collecting it so he could make a variety of clothes and accessories.
Currently, his latest creation was draped elegant over his shoulders: a wide, scarf made of a silky fabric, white with delicate pink and orange flowers. It was surprisingly cooling on the warm day, and Kishore adored it. And he would, until he made something he liked better. He admitted to being somewhat fickle when it came to fabric creations, though he tried not to be that way in his personal life. Not that he had much of a personal life.
He sighed softly at that last thought, though a vendor with brightly colored fabrics caught his eyes and he eased his way over to it, eyeing what was available and trying to figure out what he could spend.

Azalea huffed as she walked through the market place, her wings vibrating in irritation. Camila had been teasing her again over her abilities, or rather the lack there of, and her inability to to even walk a straight line before tripping over her own two feet. The nerve of that brat...
She was paying absolutely no attention to the beautiful objects around her at the market place, and turned a corner only to smack right into a silvery-pink Pae with a fabulous scarf. "Oh shoot, I'm sorry. Did I get it dirty?" In her mind, she could hear Camila making fun of her again.

Kishore was just reaching for a particularly colorful piece of fabric when someone smacked right into him. "Oh!" he said in some surprise, turning to assist the demon who'd run into him. "Oh, no, my scarf is still fabulous, sweetie," he said brightly. "How are you though? Are you okay?" He smiled at the orange and pink pae. It never failed for Kishore; he made friends wherever he went.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry again about that. I'm such a clutz..." She sighed, moving some stray hair from her face. She certainly looked every bit as frazzled as she felt. Her attention was brought back to the male demon's accessory. "That scarf is indeed fabulous. What stall is it from? I'd like to see what other trinkets and treasures they may have!"

"Don't worry about it," he said brightly. "It happens." He smiled, then grinned when she complimented his scarf. "Thanks! I brought this one from home today, but there's plenty of stalls here with fabulous fabrics," he laughed. "That's my favorite part of coming to the marketplace!"

"Really? Do you recall which stall you found it in? I would love to shop around there and see what they have. You know, if something speaks out or something." She beamed brightly, then hooked an arm into his. "Come! Let us explore! See the sights and and taste the foods! Buy pretty and or useful things!"
It didn't matter if the male wanted company or not, he was now going to be roped into her companionship. He was so much nicer than Camila.

Kishore tapped his lip as he looked around, trying to remember which stall he'd gotten this scarf from. With one hand resting on his hip, he giggled when Azalea hooked her arm in his. "Let's! I'll see if I remember which stall on the way," he said brightly. "Oh, I'm Kishore, by the way!"

"Wonderful! Thank you so much. The fabric looks like it's very nice quality, well worth whatever it costs." She wasn't one to splurge too much, but she had no problem over paying for high quality goods. And especially with useful accessories like scarves, the longer she could wear it before getting holes in it, the better the price actually was. Price per wear was the game.
"Kishore, it's wonderful to make your acquaintance! My name is Azalea, no relation to the flower." She matched his bright smile with a flashy one of her own. "Do you live here in the City, or down on the Island?"
