The Ruby Ticket is specifically for pets. This doesn't mean they have to be non-human, but they do have to be somewhat tiny. Full sized 'date'-esque companions are not permitted using a Ruby ticket.

Events are not easy to produce and manage on a large scale with a greater frequency than once a month, but we can certainly try to have more contests and interactive activities!

Are there any plans to update the Overseer and the Aquarium Lucky Chest in Aquariums? The Overseer could really use an update because the gold it gives out is barely anything in the current Gaia economy these days and minus the gift boxes it gives, some of the items it gives out need to be refreshed. Plus an update of the items in the Aquarium Lucky Chest would be awesome! An update to the Overseer would be awesome as well!

Rather than just sending a message when you are removed from Loyal’s, would you consider sending out a genuine warning when you miss 10 days (and possibly 5 days as well)? It comes as a shock to users to be so suddenly removed, especially when the PM itself is worded as a warning. It lends itself to a lot of confusion. Perhaps giving a warning that you’ve already missed 10 days and you will no longer be able to access the shop if you miss 5 more (granted, this would be in Loyal’s verbiage) might help to reduce some of the confusion or users to recognize the second form of the counter glitch sooner.

There is a glitch when you play a game of Booty Grab where sometimes at the end of the game where it gives to your score, it says you received 500 gold and the owner of the tank also received 500 no matter how much gold you grabbed during the Booty Grab game.

Would you happen to know if this occurs under specific conditions or does it seem to be completely random?
In one glow thread I was in, it was occurring with, I think, two users that posted about it that played the same user's tank. As far as I know, I was the "third" user it affected when I played the same user's tank when I bumped the glow thread. The glitch also occurs randomly as well after you play a game of Booty Grab. But, I found that it is a rare occurrence when the glitch happens.

I've been trying to get more into Animal avatars, but I've always been disappointed by the lack of standalone noses for them. I decided to see how many standalone noses for Paws there were, and there are a total of four (a koala, a clown, and two hedgehogs, and even then, those hedgehogs seem to have a hint of a mouth beneath the muzzle...) so there's very little variety. Every other nose for Paws comes attatched to a fur, eyes, mouth, or full face, which can be such a bummer when you just want a simple nose.
That said, I've always really liked the Nosey Tattoos for the human base, with their simple design and many colors. I think they would work really well for Paws and their current lack of simple, standalone noses.

Pokemon is a very popular series among Gaians, so making some items based on it is a no brainer. However, the current way you're distributing them is broken. A majority of them you've sold through the Cash Shop, which I (and others) could live with if it weren't for the fact that you charge so much for them and have so few made available.
Let's look at one of your most recent releases, Synchronous Moonlight, which you sold at 799 GCash ($7.99 USD) and made 799 of them available. They sold out before the announcement of their availability was made. Naturally, the next day a recolor (Bold Synchronous Moonlight) was made available. Fine, except for the fact that you sold them for 999 GCash ($9.99 USD) each and made the number available exactly the same as the original item, even though there's a clear massive demand for the item, so it sold out as fast, if not faster.
Likewise with Tower Haunt, you put up 799 of them for sale at 799 GCash ($7.99 USD) each, and it sold out quite fast. The next day you released a recolor (Cursed Tower Haunt), and sold it at the same price as the original, but instead only made 699 available.
Similarly, with RIGs and CIs that include Pokemon themed items, the Pokemon themed items are among the rarest of the grants.
This is just insane. You're making it so that only the most dedicated, richest Gaians can have items based on this hugely popular, beloved series. And that just isn't fair.

Thank you for feedback Soren, the purpose of LQIs is to ensure users a set that has a limited quantity, guaranteeing rarity and collectibility. Releasing items that sell out very quickly is very rare but not our intended purpose. Suggestions for limited time LQTs as opposed to quantity are being considered, and may be used in the future, so long as the rules are carefully outlined. The items can be re-released after 6 months, so users that are patient and really desire an item can get another chance at it.
That's a poor excuse though.
There's absolutely no reason why Gaia couldn't stick a few of these highly desired items into Loyal's so that users that can't afford to spend so much money in the cash shop may have a chance at owning one. It's that kind of could shouldering that's causing a lot of your long-time users to quit Gaia. You need to hold a meeting about getting your sense of community back. :/
We have and will continue to put some LQIs and exclusive recolors of LQIs into Loyal's, though they may not be released on the same day.

I think this is right? Is there anyway we can get some sort of calendar of shorts for the Tier event sales? Its so discouraging to purchase items a day or even hours before one begins. In some cases, such as if you purchased within 2 hours of a tier going live, you can be credited for your purchase by our CS team. Tiers are meant to be a surprise and reward for Gaians who choose to purchase GCash, and to make every purchase count we have been supplying month-long tiers with exclusive sets released at the end for spending.

IPOD is actually no longer supported. The APIs we are using in the new version do not work in all the iterations of IPOD but for some reason it's listed as supported on the itunes page, but should not be. We are working on getting this addressed, but if you are not using iphone I would not expect it to fully work correctly.
But I do have a Follow up Question for that.
In the future (since I know there are a lot of Ipod-Iphone users out there) Will you be working on getting it supported or will it remain this way?

For now it will remain. It's possible as Ipod software gets updates in the future it may support the APIs being used but for now at least, it's not the case.

Narumi has been working diligently to upgrade Aquariums but its still a long way from being able to update the ability to have new Fish, but we can re-release Fish that were pulled from the shops while you wait.

• Could we get a bigger screen and zoom in option please? I hope this doesn't come off as complaining... I have 20/20 vision and even I have to sit closer to the screen to see the details of the smaller pieces.
• Would you ever add 700 or 1000 pieces to the puzzles if we got a bigger screen option? Why or why not?

In the announcements for the Love Trunk RIG, there was a pink Aethereal Acolyte and navy blue World Protector predominate in the image. However, these have not been "found" yet since their marketplace links haven't been activated yet and I know a few people would love to see what these items look like on their avatars. When was the last time Crystal Box was updated? I see it lingering there every time I'm on the Cash page and it no longer holds any incentive to buy more GC. We are working on updating Crystal Box, its definitely something we would like to see re-filled- currently we offer Coupons for Gaians that purchase at a certain price range as a reward on top of the Crystal Box content.

The Daily Reward feature has been a generous addition to Gaia for a while now. However it has been relatively boring rewards as of late. Although Gaia has managed to adapt to the amount of gold flow into it's reward to make it seem more worthy. Is there going to be any unique rewards to the Daily Rewards added in the future? Could there even be added into the chance granted a few Willie Wonka like tickets? Or one of the dump money into this event which at the end rather than getting random chance items it would add items into the Daily Reward?

Therefore, would it be possible to have a Kpop themed event? I am not sure how this event would work logistically, but I feel like Kpop (or even Jpop) related achievements would be really enjoyable.
Ideas as to how the event could happen:
An idol-themed kickstarter (or forum event) in which NPCs are put into pop groups. Users would vote for which NPCs should be placed in the group/which group that they chose to support and achievements could be granted in response to voting or donating to a particular group. Achievements could be either common Korean/Kpop terms (i.e. unnie, oppa, daebak, hyung, etc.) or actual fandom names (like SONE, Blackjack, EXO-L, ect.) with Gaia twists.

We are working on a Chat Feature- the previous one was a service that is no longer in existence so we are working on making the new one easy to use, compatible with our code and hopefully more customizable as well.

I have gifs blocked on my web browser for medical reasons. Whenever I encounter a random event item (giftbox, fat cat, etc) I can still click on the floating gif (even though the actual image is blocked on my browser), but clicking on it brings up a blank pop-up box, which I assume is because the content within the pop-up is also a gif. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I had gifs enabled in the past, I remember that I had to click on another link after clicking on the floating item gif itself to actually have the item granted to my inventory.

Chatterox has looser guidelines than General Discussions, that being, Chatterbox is for literally anything that isn't a TOS violation. GD still needs to have some semblance of discussion for threads and can't hold things such as contests, art threads, etc.

I heard a couple days ago during the sales of Synchronous LQI items that some people have found an "exploit" where they could buy already sold out items as they are being removed from the shop because they briefly become unlimited. I was just curious if this counts as exploiting a glitch and should we avoid doing so to avoid breaking the TOS?

This would not count as an exploit that would get your account banned, but we'll definitely be looking into this and fixing the exploit.

Dumpster Dive is pretty much empty so i was wondering if we could bring back some of the old items no one has anymore and put a few of them in the dumpster therefore if a new player got a rare item they could sell it and get started easier on the game because there are thousands of items that are listed in the market place that hardly anyone owns and they dont have to be 100bil + items but just old items that no one has that way the market has more goods going through it than just the brand new items

We encourage any older users to dump their unused content into Dumpster Dive for newer Gaians to raid and treasure. We did raise the cap for what can be donated, and we can look to raising it again so that items aren't barred from being donated!

Are they ever going to increase the 50k character number per post limit? It's ridiculously small for us resource guide makers. Maybe there could be a small gold fee paid in order to increase it by 10k per certain post? I'd be willing to pay it, honestly. I've had to re-make my sets/recolor guide soooo many times now due to hitting character limits. Just curious if it'll EVER be increased..

This is in place both to keep load times low and also to prevent very long page stretching. We know it can be an inconvenience though in some circumstances.

Would it be possible for more military/black ops/space military/etc. items to be created??
We have very few military items done in solid colors and Camo of all colors, which leaves a lot of those wishing for those types of avis, scrambling to try and find any. Also, guns that don't look weird being held....I know of no one who fires or holds a gun by pointing it with a limp wrist, kinda cornered and in the air....unless they have a death wish. Maybe some astras of bullets flying and such?? Military Items, like Tanks, Jeeps, Guns, Knives, Camo Paint, etc. would also be nice. Maybe an overlay of dirt or something....kinda like that one blood astra or that green one.

Whenever you guys do an update to the arenas. Would you please create a new arena for aquariums? We have one for houses, why cant we do the same for Aquariums? It would probably encourage more people to spend cash on their tanks which would be a huge bonus for Gaia.

Sometimes we have to change the NPC permissions to staff to allow them to post in threads that we are setting up... NPCs actually can't post in locked threads. sweatdrop

We've thought about it but it's pretty easy to circumnavigate these rules by having your friend submit a ticket for you. We are considering limiting how many tickets you can have in queue at any given time however.

Ever since the Flash maintenance on February 10th, Gaia Fishing has encountered a glitch. We can no longer have password rooms. We can make them passworded rooms but the rooms would show up as public to others so anyone can join. We either have to have public rooms or lock it/hide it so we wouldn't be bothered. Locking rooms with people in it has a risk of you disconnecting and not able to reenter your own room.
Please fix this. I'm tired of leaving my room up in the open just so my friends can see it but others entering and being disrespectful and doing so on daily basis. Ignore feature and reporting doesn't seem to help.

The Marketplace tax is so high in order to serve as a gold sink. When the taxes are taken out, the gold is just sucked into a void and never seen again. Completely deleted.

2. Could you consider putting more items worth 20+ bil into the ticket CIs? To 1. attract more buyers and 2. deflate items?

Thank you for your suggestions Tomago! We will be releasing more raffles and contests for Gaian's to enter, including specifically exclusive recolors as prizes. Also, we try to release items between the 1-200 billion marketplace value range but we can bump the averages up.
