Lawrence Eugene Nonsense; you're a total creeper. XP I wish you luck on your gender journey! Definitely stick around! Thank you! Very well then. I shall stick to my gentleman creeper status, and continue to stalk around the guild, leaving a trail of cookies behind me. Care for a cookie, child? Why don't you jump in my big, shiny van over here. I'll give you more cookies. mrgreen

Probably a funny story was when I was still trying to figure myself out in the convention circuit.
My date from the dating game bailed on me, so I ended up walking around the convention hall by myself. An Axel and Roxas cosplayer approached me, squealing, "Oh my god! It's the cute Mick St. John!"
I ended up letting them fangasm over me while in character and it was quite the delight. They saw me as an attractive man. They ended up running off due to being late to a photoshoot.
And let's not forget the time I cursed in a microphone during the all-ages dating game. sweatdrop

And let's not forget the time I cursed in a microphone during the all-ages dating game. sweatdrop That's what I love about cons! Your gender doesn't matter nearly as much as the gender of the character you're dressed as, which makes it a lot more fun for transgender cosplayers. I remember the first time I attended a convention, I was cosplaying Hiei from "Yu Yu Hakusho", and this cute girl dressed as a neko OC saw me and flipped out, demanding a hug, addressing me like I was actually Hiei, telling me how much she loved him, and so on. She wasn't the only one, either; I remember that, after posing a group picture, the girl next to me suddenly hugged me and kept saying, "No, you don't understand, it's like my childhood standing right next to me." I also remember getting called out several times during last year's Comicpalooza when I cosplayed the Jon, being addressed as the character, playing along with injoke after injoke, and getting very into character. The fans loved the cosplay, mostly because they missed the real the Jon. I recall one person in particular who worked at a horror attraction a few aisles over; we would often get into character and play off each other when we passed by the other's stall, one naive, gold-plated robot vs. one creation of a mad scientist. Nearly everybody who knew the character treated me as the real guy, and even a few who'd never heard of the group addressed me as a man. I ******** love cons. I miss them so much. *sheds a single manly tear*

I have a story that has been reiterated throughout my life:
As a young girl between the ages 5 through 14, I loved to wear my hair short and wear clothes I found comfortable. It just so happened that I wasn't developed yet and the clothes I wore were often found in the boys section.
Youngster Joey: "I like shorts, they are comfy and easy to wear!"
People regularly called me a little boy instead of a little girl, at first I hated it but as I grew used to hearing it the more I didn't care anymore. But as I became more of a girl, puberty was a mess. I hated boobs and still do as well as wearing bras of any kind. It was a hard thing for me to get used to. I decided to break my habit of having short hair and started to grow it longer when I was 14 years old. I am 20 years old now and I recently cut my hair back to my preferred length, above the ears.
Onto the real story now, I was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a tee shirt, a satchel, my headphones and a pair of sneakers. I was walking to my mom's house and past the park I always do. I stopped to pet the stray cats that sometimes visit, there was a crowd of kids playing at the park at the time too. A boy slowly made his way to me as I pet the cat, eventually he was sitting next to me in hopes of being able to pet the cat as well. He reached too quickly and scared it away. He stood up and watched the cat run before looking back at me. He asked if it was my cat and apologized for startling it. I stood up and reassured him that it was ok and no it wasn't my cat. H started rambling like all young kids do and then finally the question emerged.
"So, are you a boy or a girl?"
I smiled and told him that I am both, I was surprised at what he said next.
"Cool! So am I."
He ran back to the park and waved back at me. I was so surprised that he was brave. I know I am probably using the wrong gender profile for the boy but I never got a chance to ask before he left. I haven't seen him there for a little while but I hope to run into him again and tell him that he should never fall into stereotypes that society tries to place him into.
(That sounds kinda creepy but I promise I don't mean to sound like a creeper... ><;;;;;; )
