Everything had been so very overwhelming in the last few days. First there was that battle she'd gotten so hurt in. Then she'd found herself married to Aiolos, without having to ask her uncle for help. A strange man showed up at the celebration party yelling at her grandmother. As if that wasn't weird at all. The thought almost caused an eye roll. But on top of all of that? The weirdest part wasn't even that Aiolos and her had been chased out of one of the many rooms that Venus' temple had to offer. It was probably the harpy that had followed her out of the temple and into her home. The harpy that was going on and on about how Adonis was dead and there were flowers in his blood.
Abby hadn't even seen the harpy at the party. But then, she'd only really had eyes for Aiolos most of the time.... "I have no idea what you eat Caoimhe, how am I supposed to care for you?" She fussed, looking up at the feathered woman. Caoimhe huffed, crossing her arms. She'd followed this girl home in hopes of finding the truth behind the god's death. Of all the other pae she'd seen, this one, and her new husband, seemed likely to want to investigate what had happened. Caoimhe didn't wish to go alone, though it went against just about everything her instincts told her. "And I have said many a time, we should be out there looking to see who killed that man." She responded, trying not to let her temper get away from her. She wanted to dig her claws into something, anything, so badly at that moment in time. But temper control. In through the nose, out through the mouth.
"Let us ask your husband on the matter."Abby frowned again. "Caoimhe, I'm injured. It's not like I can go out ask questions about him in this state. I look pathetic!" And it was true. Her normally stylish curls were quite frizzy and not well taken care of. No matter how much of a blessing Aiolos was, it seemed like she wouldn't be completely better until the wounds in her shoulder healed. Sure, she could get it healed if they went to the healing house. But that was such a huge hassle. And for the Love of Venus, she just wanted time to stay at home and be a newly wed with Aiolos, not go off in search of something that may or may not exist!
"All of that aside, it's breakfast time. Do you want meat or fruit?" She tried changing the subject again. Attempting to make it clear that she did not want to go anywhere.

Aiolos was still riding his high. Married, married to the most beautiful girl ever. What sort of good deed did he do to be blessed with his beautiful wife? It was like he was still dreaming, a dream he never wanted to walk up from. Life was just so wonderful. Well it would be prefect if his wife was beside him.
Aiolos frowned as as he noted the empty spot beside him. He shook his head to himself before sitting up and stretched. Abby should be resting in bed, taking it easy. He could look after her for a bit, spoiler her like the goddess she was. He was sure he could her persuade her back into bed. They were on their honeymoon after all.
Aiolos grinned to himself as he got out of bed, heading to the kitchen. "Abby what are you doing up so earl...y" Aiolos frowned as he noticed they weren't alone. Well so much for his idea. "Ummm..Hi...Are you one of Abby's friends?" Aiolos was trying to be polite but Abby would be able to tell his face was saying 'why is there a giant bird in our house?'

Abby returned Aiolos look with an 'I have no idea' having read it loud and clear. There were so many other things she could be doing right now, and all of them involved the man who'd just walked into the kitchen. Okay, all but one, but that one would be far nicer with him there than alone. Sleep was always better when she was curled up in his arms. Even if he was too afraid of hurting her already pretty well injured shoulder to make the bed much more fun than it was...
"Good morning Husband." She smiled warmly. "This is Caoimhe. She came to aide in the battle before Grandmother Venus' party. I think she was at the party too, but I really don't remember much outside of..." Abby trailed off a bit, blushing as she recalled the events of the party. Much of it had been spent getting so very close to one another or getting chased out of the party yet again."Of course I was at the party. How else would I have found your home? Caoimhe sighed, looking to the male. "Husband of Abby, do you not believe sleuthing out what has happened to Adonis, her grandfather, is an important thing?" The harpy asked, turning her brilliant blue eyes from Aiolos to Abby. This was clearly a matter of import to the harpy. "It is for Venus!"

Aiolos read his wife's face loud and clear. How did this bird get in their house any ways? Aiolos looked to Caoimhe. "Umm it's Aiolos...Not husband of Abby." That sounded way to formal for him. "What happened at the party was terrible, we can all agree on that." He really didn't find out about the murder until after they got kicked out of their room. "But as I'm sure Abby has told you, she's recovering from the battle. We all are. We're tired." What he was saying was mostly true, though more for Abby. He had never even tried to fight before that and well, he figured he should stick to just carpentry. "Besides, everyone got kicked out of the Temple. Even if we did start sleuthing I don't think we'd be able to get anywhere close. The gods are doing their own investigation and I don't think they'd want us to interferer. Besides, we have nothing to go on as it is." Aiolos took a seat beside Abby and let out a sigh, shaking his head. "What if it was some sorta god of invisibility that did him in, how are you suppose to find that?"

"He's got a point Caoimhe. What if it was a god of invisibility or something?" Abby, of course, sided with her husband. She gestured with her good arm to the breakfast she was trying to make. "Aiolos, Love, are you hungry?" She asked, almost certain that if she did want to go looking into it, all she would have to do was start asking around with her aunts and uncles. Maybe even her father, but she wouldn't count too much on that one.Caoimhe frowned. "Kicked out or otherwise, the young demi-goddess here could surely get some answers if she asked the right pae." The harpy's feathers were ruffled. "Recovery can wait, this was murder of a god! How can you stand back and not be concerned?" She rounded on Abby, "You of all pae. That was your grandfather was it not? How can you stand to be inside your home, comfortable, when someone related to you was so recently murdered?"And she'd had it. Calm Abby was about to go out the window. "How am I able to stay comfortable when my own grandfather was possibly murdered? Really Caoimhe? Have you stopped for a second to look at my condition at all? I can barely move one of my arms! My aunt skewered me while I was fighting to free the temple! And that was only AFTER I was bit in the same shoulder by one of those freaky snake things! Not to mention after that I was married at that very same celebration." She paused for a moment for that to sink in. Or maybe a breath. Either one. "A marriage I haven't had the chance to celebrate because of the urgency of everything. The first day my new husband I had free, you show up and try and pry me from a life I'd only dreamed of being possible!" Her eyes narrowed, clearly done with the subject.
"Now, either tell me what you want for breakfast, or get out of my house." Abby offered. No longer willing to take any s**t from this harpy. She may be one of the few favored pae of her grandmother, but that didn't mean Caoimhe was entitled to throw Abby's life to the wind like that.

Aiolos shook his head solfy at Abby's question. To be honest, he'd rather be back in bed with his wife. He only got up because Abby wasn't there. Besides, he wasn't comfortable with some strange bird in his house..
As Caoimhe spoke more Aiolos became anger. His wings fluttered in an aggrieved fashion. How dare she come into their home and try to tell them what to do. Recovery could wait what was she talking about. He was about to speak when Abby spoke up. If Abby were to look over she'd see him staring at her with love struck eyes. What an amazing woman he was with. He snapped back to normal when once again she offered the bird breakfast. "Look, I'm sure everyone at the party wants to help figure out what happened to that god...But we're mortal..Err...Demi and mortal...We need a little time to just relax, and," Aiolos looked to Abby's arm. "Recover. Recovering is not something that can wait. I won't see the even slight possibility that Abby could get hurt again. Whoever did this has already killed once, what's not to say they'd do it again...Cornered animals fight to the death after all." He really didn't like where he was going with this.
