She hadn't planned on hanging around the human with the odd tail attached to her clothing but the offer of food had been too tempting to pass up. Berries were well and good but Pokefood was something she'd come to love. Her love of Pokefood had almost gotten her captured a couple of times at that. Oops.
Still, the food that had been set out for her the first night was just as delicious as the food left for her the next day. And though the human acknowledged her presence she never once went for the Pokeballs at her waist. Maybe that was why she was back for yet another day.
The ragtag group weren't up to much today, the human doing some weird movements she didn't really understand while the Feebas she had out in the near by pond watched every movement. If she didn't know better, the mew would have thought the fish was besotted with the human but that was a ridiculous notion.
Still it was kind of distracting and she wondered if she could get the ugly fish to stop. Resting a stop a bubble, she dangled her tail down above the water to catch his attention. A giggle escaped her as he jumped for the appendage once he'd caught sight of it, the twitching tail moving out of the way before it could be eaten. Waiting a couple of minutes for his attention to be once more taken up by the human, her tail made it's way back down into the fish's vision to entice him once more.
It was a fun little game of cat and mouse (of sorts), her tail grabbing the Feebas' attention and tempting him to try and catch it like it were a worm only to pull it away before it could end up in the fish's mouth. It went like this until she misjudged her timing and she let out a cry as she was pulled down into the water. Luckily she had enough time to bubble herself to keep from getting soaked but it was certainly an end to their game.
Putting herself back above the water's surface, the Mew glared a little as she was laughed at by the fish. Rude. Tail tip twitching she searched for something else to occupy her time and purple eyes fell on the Arcanine.
He was sleeping under a tree, far enough away to avoid being splashed on by the fish (who'd gone back to watching his trainer). He was far enough away that she was sure it was a safe spot in which to sulk so she floated over to put herself on the large canine's head. The heat he gave off was nice and it was quick to pull her into a drowsy state and join him in the land of slumber.
Purring loudly, sleepy eyes moved to watch the trainer she was quickly becoming endeared to. It was clear she loved her Pokemon, thinking of them more as companions then simple means to battling. As she found herself beginning to finally drift off she couldn't help but think that it wouldn't be so bad being caught by someone who was more friend then trainer.
