I have asian hair. Today I wore it straight and it's naturally wavy. So it can't mean the kinky hair I see on google.
I cut my long waist length hair into choppy short layers with side swept bangs that end a little bit below my shoulders. I didn't ask for this but s**t happens crying
I came to class and I overheard one of my guy classmate say to his friend he thinks my hair looks nice and its kinky and then he asked his friend for his opinon but i couldnt hear his friend then he was like go tell her it looks kinky!!
So Im not sure what he means by kinky. Is it a compliment or an insult? I'm confused.

He might be referring to your layers. It's possible that he doesn't know what kinky hair really is haha. I wouldn't take it as an insult c:

Kinky as in sexual- sexy. He thinks your hair is sexy.
