Thoran's personal space takes the form of a bar within the demon world, much like Roanark in Death City, and similarly named. The style, mood, and layout are all similar. However, the entrance to the bar is an elevator rather than a traditional entrance. No matter which portal you use to enter, you always arrive in an elevator that opens up within a few seconds. From the windows of the bar, rain can be seen in constant downpour outside. The rain isn't falling from the sky; rather, it seems to be rising from the ground towards the sky.
Roanark is a modern European style of bar. The counter is crafted from a polished and smoothed dark marble, crafted by an artist many years ago. The wood underneath was carved by the same artist and the two were shipped to Thoran for the specific purpose of being a bar counter. On either side of the entrance there are two glass tanks that span the floor to the roof. One tank holds many jellyfish, while the other houses a variety of koi fish. Aside from the bar stools, Roanark has several places to relax and sit comfortably while you enjoy your beverages. These areas are made up of four comfortable leather chairs that are gathered around a round coffee table. There are enough of these areas, and stools, for the bar to easily hold forty people. The lighting is always kept at a slightly dimmed level. Smooth jazz seems to play from some sort of speakers around the bar, the speakers are hidden in random places. Taking the elevator out returns you to the portal you arrived from.
Roanark, as a rule, does not condone violence within the bar. Anyone who is found to begin picking fights, outside of the owner himself, shall be asked to leave. If the first request is unfulfilled, then the bars bouncers (security personnel) shall see you out. [Please don't purposefully cause trouble just because you want to. I would like for this place to be a peaceful establishment.] Demon's are free to arrive when they wish. A clone of Thoran is always kept either here or in the overworld, depending on where he happens to wish to spend his time. The only time the bars are closed are when he is needed elsewhere. During this time both bars are closed down for the day. Roanark. Blackwing members drink free, and are allowed entrance whether the bar is open or not. Blackwing members are able to open a direct portal to Roanark themselves; the arrival is in the same fashion as all portals: the elevator.
