Would snake venom qualify as an ether? (if so) And in a quest, can I specificy that snake?
Yes, actually, because I know there's booze out there that uses it! Even if they didn't, I know it has a taste and LIKELY a smell. So yes, perfectly acceptable. You can absolutely specify the snake, just remember that the ether colors the Aeterna more than anything, so it's still going to be a relatively dilute color. If you want it to look like a snake, I'd suggest just using the snake itself (because yes, snakes do have a scent and taste).
