Bio: An original to help dig the pipes under the science facility. While too young to really remember his birth place in Pleasant Valley, he still remembers that ponies evicted them from their homes, forced them to work then started a war that obliterated that home. Edward had some major resentment towards pretty much everybody as he spent several years blinded from an explosive tunnel collapse that shredded his eyes.
The only reason he doesnt make a point to be a life long hermit is because Dr. Zodiac gave him his sight back along with a capacity to never suffer such a fate again because of both being able to see it coming and not having a risk of losing his eyes in such a way again. After long years of studying cybernetics and their effects on the body, Edward has decided to make an effort to supply both himself and other sanddogs with a way of living for as long as they so choose. The time spent underground with geological formations as well as the war has given him an appreciation for the magic that makes gems and their powers so valuable.

Appearance:Extremely black fur with metallic eyelids to go with the golden metallic eyes he has. Rather scrawny but what would you expect of a scientist? He has minor augmentations inside of his body to prolong his life indefinitely which leaves layers of his fur turning red for some reason. Prior studies expected to be rust soaking into the hair follicles but proven to just be a strange behavior for augmentations under the surface of the skin.

Bio: Born into slavery, her father was a unicorn, who favored her mother a zebra as his personal property. she inherited her fathers horn but her mothers noticeable stripes. this made her an enemy of both the slaves and the slavers, and was knocked to the bottom of the food chain. the only reason she survived from being beaten to death, was to learn how to fight and how to defend, and when to run. eventually the slavers were wiped out and the slaves set free, including Zee.
