"I grew up in the Utopia District on the north side of Wall Rose with my dad, my mom having died during childbirth. He taught me everything from hand-to-hand combat to how to maneuver my body faster than I thought possible. Like previously mentioned, he's taught me how to defend myself ever since I could walk. He was in the Survey Corps / Scout Regiment for years, fighting outside the walls to try to further humanity towards reclaiming Wall Maria. Once he found out my mother was pregnant, he retired from service, leaving him tons of stories to tell me once I was old enough. He has told me countless stories, including many more than once, and I wished to have stories like that of my own someday. I plan to join the Scout Regiment / Survey Corps like my father."
