Everyone in the family is welcome (and encouraged) to make a post from here down for their kid and their personality/plots/etc. Please give everyone a chance to do so before we jump into discussion smile
She is distant, her eyes haunted. The only one who can connect with her is her mate. Poison is her preferred weapon.
Khalid was once renowned for his stealth and speed. He could sneak in and slice open his target's throat and be gone before an alarm was raised. Unfortunately one mission his target was more formidable and was able to catch Khalid off-guard, blinding him in one eye with a slice of their claws. Since then Khalid has turned to subtler means, such as poison like his mate.
Where will the kids grow up?
Well, the pair wanted to keep the kids away from their bloody profession, at least while they grow up. Besides, they often have to move around to avoid detection and are on missions most nights. These aren't great conditions for children to live in. Besides, coming home to a brood of kids would give them away to their enemies and could be used against them, hurt, or killed. So it seemed the best course of action to find another couple willing to raise the kits as their own. As it happens, Alathea and Venonat were willing to take them on alongside their own brood of five. Khalid and Meera will visit periodically and will of course support them and make sure they want for nothing as they grow.
About the surrogate parents:
Alathea is honest to a fault, even unto insulting others with the cold, harsh truth in front of them. She seems either oblivious to the offence of others, or she simply does not care. She isn't interested in sugar-coating the truth, telling "white lies" or boosting anyone's ego, and she certainly isn't interested in those things directed at her. She doesn't like to be flattered. She will tolerate compliments, but they don't impress her much. She acknowledges that she is pretty, but she is more interested in others appreciating her other qualities, and she cares more about the qualities within others than she does about their looks.
As a mother Alathea dotes on her children night and day, fretting over them. She wants them to have good self esteem so constantly compliments all of them- taking great pains to treat them all equally. She's a bit smothering and from time to time Venonat has to force her to take some time alone, but even when he convinces her to take a walk by herself she is thinking about the kids. She's worried she's not doing this parenting thing correctly and is constantly afraid she's somehow messing up her kids' lives. The troubling traits of some of them seem to reinforce this fear in her.
She seems to have better luck with the kits that they are raising that aren't hers. This gives her hope that she is doing ok as a mother.
Venonat is a thinker. He enjoys sunny days where he can lounge in the comfortable grass and ponder existence, or clear nights where he can gaze at the stars and wonder where it all began. He measures his words carefully before speaking. He says what he means and means what he says. He's a very straightforward guy.
As a father Venonat can sometimes be slightly neglectful. He's new to this and with six kids he's suddenly a bit overwhelmed. His typically quiet and reflective world has been shattered, and he's struggling to cope with this drastic change to his life. He sometimes just needs to get away and rest in the quiet, leaving the kids in the care of Alathea.
He of course loves all of his kids, even the ones with more troubling traits. He dotes on all of them when he has the energy, but he's unaccustomed to the needs of children.
With the addition of so many foster children he seems overwhelmed but is doing his best to make it work.

Owner: Fatal Irony Name: Pyre Gender: Female Mood: Manipulative Personality: Calculating and cold, this kit will be the opposite of her mother in that she will constantly, habitually, pathologically lie and manipulate others to get her way. It takes after her father in that she is smart and contemplative, but in a more cynical and manipulative way. This kit is highly intelligent and charming, mostly because nothing she says is truthful and she doesn't care at all what anyone else thinks. Alathea and Venonat will constantly be trying to guide the kit into the path of honesty, but she won't listen. She will pretend and on many occasions her parents will believe it. But make no mistake, this kit is not to be trusted ever. It isn't always that she is trying to harm anyone with her lies - often they are meaningless and harmless - but she can't seem to help herself from lying. She can't seem to differentiate from truth or lies. On the whole she prefers her family's company, particularly when they are tolerating all of her lies and nonsense. Despite her cynical demeanor she will ALWAYS come to the aid of her family when it really counts. Plot ideas: Put your love to the test: (Kit) This will be the first time she has ever had to step up to defend anyone besides herself. Perhaps a sibling is getting picked on and she comes to their aid. Perhaps one of them falls and gets injured or trapped somewhere and she has to save them. Whatever it is, it will help both my girl and their sibling know with certainty that family is a bond you do not break.
How far can I go? : (Kit) She needs to know how far her lies can go and how much she can manipulate others until they notice or call her out.
Who are my parents? (Kit) Pyre very clearly does not resemble her parents or any of her natural siblings. She seems closer to the surrogate children being raised with them, both in appearance and in temperament. Was there a mistake? During a particularly ineffective lesson with one of her parents she will claim she isn't theirs and will continue this assertion for most of her childhood.

Owner: Fatal Irony Ulaya's name: Sarkis Gender: Male Mood: Protective Personality: Extremely protective of his sisters, foster or otherwise, despite the fact they can all handle themselves pretty well. Plot ideas:
Your username: Of The Epidemic Your kit's name: Luachiel Your kit's mood: Torn Your kit's personality:
Luachiel as a kit is torn, though it isn't anyone in specifics fault. Just like any child she seeks approval of those around her, her elder siblings and her parents, they are infallible and perfect. So why are they all so different? Doesn't that mean one of them has to be wrong? Lua tries so hard to appease them all, to garner approval from each that in the end it wears on her. To be deceptive and cunning for her sister, sweet and innocent, wise and understanding, honest and truthful. It's all too much, and it doesn't help that there is a darkness in Lua that she doesn't really understand. She likes the power she gets from being deceptive and cunning and a part of that scares her. Isn't she not supposed to like being mean? But then why does her sister like it so? She spends so much of her time trying to be all these different people, trying to be like so many people that in the end she loses who she is.
Then something happens, a trigger, Chi's kit leaves, and Lua grows resentful of the notion of love. How can something that is supposed to be so good take away someone she cares about? Why does this happen? It sends her on a spiral.
It isn't all Chi's kit's fault obviously and slowly Lua realizes part of it is her. She needs to find herself, she is tired of being all these different people. Who is SHE? Queue someone walking into her life that isn't so nice a person and promises to help her find herself and does just not exactly in the direction most would.
She becomes a seductress, deceptive, cunning, conniving, manipulative, a weaver of webs so tangled her prey spends days, weeks, months caught in it. Her words are sweet but her actions are cruel. Lua finds herself enthralled and amused with her new found power over people. Now she is the one in control and she is the one that people seek approval from. Yet still she goes back to her manipulator seeking their approval in the end, even if she doesn't realize it.
Eventually she comes across a pair so completely in love with each other its near impossible for her to get a hold on them. Her deception doesn't work, and their completely blinding, soul searing love for each other leaves a mark on her she isn't quite aware of. In the end she fails to capture them and it leaves her shaken and running back to her manipulator for comfort.
Yet in her hour of need, the little light of hope, that glorious spark of good inside her takes root. For she is the daughter of Reshiram the dragon of truth so how could there not be goodness in her. Once more she begins to question and she slowly begins to feel torn.
Then another trigger, a ulaya that is so good steps back into her life. Perhaps her mother, perhaps a sibling, regardless the encounter not only leaves her shaken and questioning but filled with a desire. A part of her, a deep and hidden part wants to feel that soul searing love, that sweeping, blinding, incapacitating thing. Though she worries she might not be able to feel it.
She grows weary and over time she is once more torn and it is at this point she rounds on her manipulator. How could this happen? They were supposed to help her find herself and now she is torn again? Confused, lost, why does this always happen? Is she just destined to be torn forever, confused, unsure of who she really is? Will she ever find herself?
Plot ideas:
Okay so I know her personality is kinda jumbled and confusing, but if you followed it you can catch several plots right there.
Various - I want to have plenty of family rp. I want to see it twist her around and confuse her as she tries to appease everyone and garner approval. With the eventual trigger of Chi's box leaving. (Or maybe it's another trigger I don't know yet.)
Her saving grace, or so we thought. - This is where she meets her manipulator. It could be her sister, or anyone else who likes leading people of course. Doesn't matter to me, but they will play a big role in her life for awhile. They will become her crutch so to speak. Her enabler.
Bow before me. - Various plots with others in which she manipulates and cons them into different things. It will be a time of her having found clarity and feeling strong and proud. With small points in time where she wonders about things. It will give us a look into her good side which stays well hidden. Even if those looks are really only tiny glimpses.
I've failed? - This is where she meets that duo that is so in love and it changes her. She has never faced failure before, not on this level. Never has it taken such a toll on her. Lua looks for some solace but it's rarely easy to hide from one's own mind.
Am I just destined to be torn? - Queue someone good walking back into her life and setting that spark of hope and goodness ablaze. She is back to being confused and she takes it out on the person that promised her she would find herself. It leaves her angry and upset hurt and confused.
I will find my own redemption. - Lua will never be a wholly good person, just like everyone else she has good traits and bad. It will be a struggle for her to understand that and figure it out but with time she will figure it out. She has to go it on her own first, meet people, learn to understand herself. See the world through her own eyes and find approval of herself within herself. This will be a long winded plot with lots of rps involving many different types of people. Soul searching if you will.
POSSIBLE SIDE PLOT
I will always love you, unfortunately. - If her manipulator is indeed her sister then she will OBVIOUSLY always love them. When she finds herself or at least understands herself better I would love to see her come back and patch things up with her sister. IF her manipulator isn't her sister this plot is still open, we can just discuss it. I know some ulaya won't care either way but it's a thought.
POSSIBLE SIDE PLOT TWO
Mother, thank you, I love you. - I do eventually want her to come back around to her mother. To tell her how she felt as a kit, and to let her know she loves her. That it's alright and she was a really good mom. To reconnect with her and find that bond with her mother she didn't know she had. For it was after all her mother's truth that brought her from the brink.
Any other ideas/Thoughts: I know this is long winded and kinda confusing and I apologize for that. I just had this grand idea and arc in my head and I needed to get it all down before I lost it. Things are open for debate and discussion. This is really just an outline for how I kind of want it all to go. But yes!

Owner: dawns_aura Name: Linnilea Gender: Female Mood: Temperate Personality: Not given to extremes of emotion or action, she often ends up being a peacekeeper - if arguments break out- or a mitigating influence on plans that might otherwise end up being overdone. Not even through choice, but it benefits her so, meh. She'll go along with it for now. And while she might feel just as deeply as other, she never shows it, leaving others to guess and assume. Often for the amusement value if nothing else. It is so entertaining to see how badly others misinterpret her actions and words. She has a subtle and unique sense of humor. She enjoys seeing the antics her siblings by blood and surrogate siblings get up to. And is often amused by the results and repercussions. At times she will assist and others she will hinder. Whatever offers her the most amusement at the time. Or what will offer her the most benefit. But when push comes to shove, if she happens to hate any of her siblings or not, family always comes first, and she will do anything to protect or be there for her family.
She is a very 'shades of grey' character, instead of seeing the world in black and white, she sees it in only shades of grey. This is to include the so-called good and evil of the world. As such, she is intrigued by her surrogate siblings' birth parents.... why they chose to leave their kits with Alathea and Venonat, and all about their professions. She flirts with the idea of joining one of her surrogate siblings into training and becoming an assassin herself, but quickly discards the idea.
Plot Ideas: How did this happen?- Two of the more honest and straightforward ulaya end up with a litter of six kits, all of which seem to be as far from them in personality as possible. How did this occur? Why? And how can they relate as a family? Are the bonds of love and blood enough to overcome the differences? And then there were the five others that were dropped off to be raised by Alathea and Venonat as well.
What's in it for me?- First and foremost, she is looking out for number one. She will always focus first and foremost on what will benefit her, and this might change from moment to moment, so it is not a wise idea to trust her too far. This even extends to family. What will happen if one or the other of her siblings ask for her assistance with something, but before the plan comes to fruition she finds something more worth her time and energies, leaving them in an awkward situation.
Why are we different?: From the beginning, the kits knew about their unusual family situation, and Linnilea was curious about what it meant. How were they different. How were they the same. And were the relationships between blood siblings closer than the surrogates.
Peacekeeper by accident- she comes across an argument possibly between her sibs, and she acts as an objective outsider and helps diffuse the situation. This sets the stage for other encounters where she is forced to do similar.
Owner: dawns_aura Name: Nasha (affectionately known as Naci , Nana or other 'cute' nicknames) Gender: Female Mood: Subtle Personality: Words can be as dangerous as anything physical, and have the added benefit of leaving scars on the psyche, long after initial pain is gone and all that would be left is a scar. Where others might choose to turn to the physical, Nasha starts with words. Planting seeds of doubt, poisoning the soul, before turning to the body, it's almost like killing their target twice. The kit has a very strong sense of morals, no doubt influenced by the time spent with their surrogate family, but no matter what the influence, nature is stronger than nurture. Blood will out, at their paws and those of their genetic family.
They do follow in the footsteps of their real parents, as an assassin though sticking to the strict code of morals from their kit-hood. They are stealthy, stalking their prey in the shadows until they are assured of a 'perfect' kill. Swift, they are fully capable of performing the final deed in full sight of others, without being seen as the perpetrator. The final kill is accomplished with a swift acting poison, but not before the target has been shattered .
Plot Ideas: Family: Lotsa rp with siblings ( both blood and surrogate), time with surrogate parents and with biological parents, balancing the two, discovering who they are, being a kit with all that entails
It Was An Accident....: Something happened, and Nasha ended up with scars over her eye. What happened? Was it something someone did to her? Or tried to prevent from happening? How does she explain to the parents? What story does she tell those who ask about it?
Blood Will Out... At My Paws or Theirs: Out of kithood, the young Nasha decides to follow in their biological parents' footsteps. They start training...
Getting Away with Murder...No, Seriously: There is nothing quite like the first kill... The rush of adrenaline, the panic and even the slight pang of guilt. But then, to get away with it, to be congratulated by the one you look up to and admire... there is no better feeling.
Honing Technique: Nasha fulfilled their mission well, the target was taken down. But it lacked any beauty or grace. After the initial rush of pride, they are disgusted and disappointed. They would get better. The next kill would be perfection. (they seek a lot more training and practice before attempting another.
Killing You Softly With My Words: Nasha learns the rush of killing their target by messing with their mind first, and is hooked. The skill it takes to break someone apart bit by bit and bring them to the edge of the breaking point before actually taking their life... there is no greater high
Family Isn't Always By Blood... Sometimes Family Is Who You Choose: One thing that has been impressed on Nasha from the beginning was the importance of family, enough that it became one of the top tenants of their code- one doesn't kill their own blood ( no matter how much one might wish otherwise at times), a tenant extended to include the family that raised them. Could anyone else attain that protected status? Becoming family through bonds of friendship or affection or anything else...
For You... I Will Do Anything: Nasha falls in love (male/female/species/gender identification doesn't matter) and to try and gain the other's affections or to prove her own, she undergoes a series of tests trials whatever. She can either succeed or fail miserably. But either way she learns the limits to what she will do for the one she loves.

Your name: Yushika Kit's Name: Agatha (f), Claus (m) Mood: Clever Personality: While they were not raised amongst their biological parents, it's evident they've inherited traits from both parents. Stealthy and quick while also distant at first glance, they are proud of the trait they've been naturally given.
However, being raised by a sweet Alathea and thoughtful Venonat has rubbed off of them. Initially when met they come off uncaring – but this doesn't mean they lack emotion towards others. Expressions are limited, mostly because they have a hard time registering what facial expression is the appropriate one for a situation. They also are distant like their birth mother, though only because it's easier than making yourself vulnerable enough to befriend others. Sentences are short, and answers even briefer. Befriend them and you'll find they still are essentially the same, however are incredibly protective of their people and sometimes will shamefully give into their desire for affection and give a quick nuzzle here and there. Sure, they can be hard to understand, but befriend this character and you'll never need to worry about someone harming you.
Alathea's sweetness has rubbed off on the child. They are more prone to helping the weaker people in life. Despite not wanting to give into their sensitive side, they've been known to stop everything they're doing to save another in distress. They also are honest, even if it hurts the other. Perhaps blunt is a better word, because half the things that leave their mouth is harsh and cuts to the core. This isn't intentional, at all. They just have a horrible time understanding how to censor their words.
Venonant has also attributed to their personality, just like Alathea and their birth parents have. The child will enjoy spending time by themselves, mostly to meditate over prior events or thoughtfully contemplate the future. They also have the ability to think before leaping, and will do so. This may infuriate others, as often if given options they'll sit there for ten to fifteen minutes just thinking about the right choice. Don't try to speed them up. They'll just think slower!
All in all, they're a good mix of both set of parents while also retaining some unique traits. They're quite proud of their blended personality, though sometimes wish they were a little less of Alathea and more Khalid, mostly because they're secretly ashamed of their sweet side. Whoops.
Plot ideas:
Meeting Parents: – Being raised by Alathea and Venonant was fun, and honestly they'll always call them mom and dad. However, they knew they weren't their birth parents, and so will seek out Khalid and Meera. Sadly, Khalid and Meera will always be simply their names, as the child grew up calling the ones who raised them mom and dad, but hopefully a family can be formed with the birth parents.
Assassin? I don't think so. – They will want to be assassins like their birth parents, at first. However, they just can't get behind it. For awhile they'll try and force themselves to be strong like their birth parents. Obviously they must be just like them, right? They're strong and powerful and being an assassin sounds cool, lets face it. However, the calling of being a personal guard will draw them, instead, and the child will find someone to protect professionally.
Woah woah woah, this is wrong – The one thing they'd be known best for is keeping things professional. Except, what happens when you fall for the one you're supposed to guard? I want them to fall head over heels for the person they're charged to protect, and whether it becomes a true romance or a cause for them to be fired will be decided at that time!
Anything else? The above are all the plots I have set. Other plots I'd like to see develop or be added as they grow! Thank you so much for this chance~

Your username: Ebonrune Name: Zeth Mood: Wary Adult personality: (Until/unless given reason to believe otherwise) When he and his twin, Sivaris, grew into their adult appearances, irony struck. Zeth, who doesn't trust any member of the family, ended up looking pink, fluffy and sweet while his twin who actually seemed to have the personality to suit such an appearance, ended up looking almost demonic. He's learned how to be manipulative from at least one sibling through observation, and he uses that. Love is an illusion, a lie people tell themselves. There is only deception and mutual using. This is what he believes.
Child personality: Their mother is painfully, hurtfully honest and their father doesn't seem much different. This cub is closest to Dad, but only by a small margin and definitely doesn't trust most of the family. As for themselves, their words tend to be as harsh and cruel as possible toward their sibs to try and keep them away and says as little as possible to Mother to avoid one of her brutal truths. The world seems to be a cruel and cold place in this kit's eyes. It's everyone for themselves. Plot ideas: We can plot together. Any other ideas/Thoughts: If an rp with him as a kit manages to change who he becomes as an adult, I'm all for that, but the family members would have a hard time with that given how sensitive he is and how much his parents have inadvertently harmed him because he takes/took things too much to heart.
Username:jojomade Kits name Raz Mood Secretive Personality Raz is the spy of the family she hold many secrets. Swift, stealthy and capable like their biological parents. Always thinks before she acts. Calculating. When she tells the truth she doesn't sugar coat it but getting the truth out is like pulling teeth. (Which she has done on occasion. She is good at torture but doesn't like to draw attention to this fact.) She has some trust issues but loves the family and would do anything for them regardless. Loves her biological parents as well but she doesn't believe in killing unless she have to.
